The trio of pokemon backtrack to where Stufful's footprints were found.

While Kee is sniffing the footprints to get their scent so they can follow them to Stufful...

*rolls*

... he catches a whiff of...something else near Stufful's footprints.  It smells...like three more pokemon were in the area recently.  There's distinct smells of fire, electricity, and mud around the area.  However, Kee cannot tell which way those three pokemon went.

Kogeki look around and then ask Kee. "So? Where we should go Kee? I refuse to fail in our first mission from the Guild."

Hummmm, how intriguing, how very very intriguing. And weirdly worrysome, cause what the heck do these smells of fire, electricity, and mud meeeeeean??? Kee's lost on that but he surely doesn't like it regardless, so he rubs his spikey and bristy backfur against anywhere he picks these three scents up to overwrite them with his own.

Kogeki look around and then ask Kee. "So? Where we should go Kee? I refuse to fail in our first mission from the Guild."

*deadpan glance from Kee* "No shit, Sherlock." He shakes himself. "Eh whatever, I smell foreign 'Mon here, kinda would be neat 'f we would.... pick up our pace just a taaaaaad bit. Letsa go back to these rocks, shall we?~"


The path Kee wishes to follow stays the same, it's this one.

*deadpan glance from Kee* "No shit, Sherlock." He shakes himself. "Eh whatever, I smell foreign 'Mon here, kinda would be neat 'f we would.... pick up our pace just a taaaaaad bit. Letsa go back to these rocks, shall we?~"

The path Kee wishes to follow stays the same, it's this one.

While Kogeki was following Kee and Karen he couldnt resist in ask. "Other Pokemon you say? That mean we not the only ones to search for Stufful?" Then he shake his head. "Silly me. Of course there is other Pokemon searching for Stufful. The mission never said only 1 team could take it. I fear we might have to fight I afraid. I wish Pyra and Dax was with us. Their help would be pretty much valuable or at least her intimidating presence would help."

"As much drink in the aura of strong Pokemon is...tempt, maybe spread rumors about my powers would be not very much helpful in our cause. I prefer hunt the aura of wild Pokemon. I let you guys do the talk. I more of a fighting guy. I normally let my weapon and punches do the talk." Kogeki show a more wild grin to Kee, something he normally would not do. "Relax. Its just a joke." And he return to his serious face.

About Kogeki's words, Ziggy Kee just goes ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌ "Eh, dunno whether those are a d'fferent team or some wild 'Mon outta t'prey on that cute Stufful, and I don't care. We've got our two missions, we've got dear Karen here back, Pyra 'n Dax will be fine."

"Ohhh, ya let me do the talk?~ *extravagantly sarcastic tone* Well, good, less chances that you accidently mess up like with our potential Guildmaster. And nah, dontcha spread rumors, they'll always come back t'bite ya 'n some way."

Kogeki close his eyes for a second and chuckle a bit. "Heh. Worse thing is I dont have counter arguments about what you said. After my failing first impression to the Guildmaster, even I would not trust myself in these types of conversations. I confess I was a anger back there. It is more of a trait of my personality. Many things I cant remember, but I remember that was a trait of my persona when I was in my previous form."

"We had our fights in our past life. Guess that is something who doesnt change very much in this one. Well I not afraid about rumors. If something happens and I fall in my insticts there is you and Pyra to beat the crap out of me. No matter how skilled a Ghost-type is, Dark-types always do the job. I trust you guys to do the right thing when that time comes. Thats the level of trust we have."

Kogeki sigh. "I wish I could remember of our previous lifes. To remember that...feeling of kinship we have among us, or the experiences we share. I must confess something though: The first I awoke and hear your voice, I feel someway...annoyed. Even if my mind cant remember everything, I suppose my soul can."

Maybe, maybe not, 'strange' doesn't aut'matically mean 'bad' or 'dangerous', strange things, happenings 'n feelings fly 'round like dust particles in the air, we just tend t'not notice 'em until they hit a ray of sunshine." Whoahw. "Mem'ries we had as, uh...hoomans will come back SOME day, I'm sure, they always do in RPGs where ya're amnesiac!~~" *wide toothy grin* "I'm just glad I'm nat all 'lone."

"Gladly in help. The way you talk its almost like us just characters of some story." Kogeki stop to think for a second. "When you stop to think for a second, we kinda are. Characters of the game called Life. Each one have your way to play it. Some rely in join forces with others. A few prefer to play alone. And some even decided to not do anything."

Kogeki nod his head. "You bring a interesting topic to think. I hope when we get our home I could write a few books. Might need your help with that Kee since I dont hold much knowledge about this world writing."

"A ninja must be strong both in body and mind. Although in the "mind" departament I still need to work with." Kogeki approach a bit to Kee and ask him. "Well, I dont remember us having a proper Pokemon fight when were humans. When we are a bit stronger, do you wish having a friendly spar between us? Since in the state I am right now, you problably would kick my ass with that Snarl of yours. Or the reverse with my kunai and my ninja training."

*massive glaaaaaaare that washes feelings of Kee being a highly dangerous foe for the deltadoggo of Kogeki* "Ohhhh, ya wanna fight 'n battle?~ Fine, someday 'n sometime when there's SPARE time. Now, please do me a favour 'n think more quietly pwease, thanks." Enough talking it seems, it was fun but Kee wants to concentrate on the path ahead now.

Dax frowned as he stared at the enormous new obstruction. He frowned, and tried to think of some way to get across it, but quickly decided that there was no way he and his demonic friend could get through unless she wanted to burn it down. But that was a dumb idea.

"Another way then? We could try and climb it, but these claws aren't that great for climbing. Maybe we can try and go around the tree?"

A/N: So sorry I'm this late, I'm doing too many things and I'm burning out, I'll try to be on time from the next post onwards.

When Daxter checks the side of the tree, he finds that it smells...like something's been burnt.

Upon investigating more closely, he sees what looks like burned clumps of grass next to some large rocks that have been shoved aside around the broad base of the tree, just out of sight.  And as luck would have it, it seems that someone created a path around the tree.  And probably fairly recently, too.  Looks like progressing isn't going to be as hard as Daxter and Pyra initially thought.

Kee, Kogeki, and Karen continue on their way, and it isn't long before they run into Daxter and Pyra in the clearing with the large rocks in the middle!

Karen waves, happy to see them!  "Dax, Pyra!  I was wondering where you were!"
