[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
Pyra was simultaneously confused and curious about her unexpected alarm mid-fall, but she doesn’t have any time to dwell on it as her flight is abruptly arrested as she hit the ground with a sickening *SMCRACK!* . For a moment the lil’ fiendess laid there, still as the earth beneath her...

...And soon after she pushes herself up With both arms, shaking her to clear away any lingering jitters before looking at her now broken arm with....interest and fascination? No screaming, no wincing, No cringing, panic, or really any concern about her Lethal injury whatsoever. Pyra was just....calm and unbothered.

She then proceeds to jiggle her limp limb and prods it with her other with a curious gleem in her eyes, as if to take further note about it and how it reacted. Yeap , totally unbothered!

Karen’s and Kogeki’s cries causes her to cease her ‘casual inspection’ and look at them with some surprise, before she gave them her signiture smile and a wave.

“Karen, Kogeki! Yes, indeed, I am okay and well enough, so fear not my friends!”

Kee’s own concern and aggravation with her cliff dive with a curious frown, not getting why they were so worked up about it.

“No and may, I am fine, Ziggy Kee. My fall caused my body and bones to... break, I think, but it is no big problem for me. I can still walk, run , Bite, or breath my Fire, so there is no need for us to fret or worry about it now.”

In was in that vein of though she rejected the use of the Oran Berry on her, stating once more she was ‘fine’ with a smile and their was no need to waste it on her ‘minor’ injury. It’ll heal up soon enough in due time, or can be treated after their missions were done.

Speaking of which, they ARE done with them! With a little twirl she addresses everyone cheerfully about such, before asking them if they wish to go back to town or continue to explore the Mystery Dungeon for further profit and training. She’s the Leader, but this decision is a Team one she believes!

The more Pyra waves her broken arm around, the more intense the pain gets.

Logic: (4)(5)
Instinct: (4)(3)

Will: (6)(5)(4)(1)

...okay then.  That's...impressively lucky.

Even though the pokemon Pyra wants to cry out in pain, 'human' Pyra prevents it from being so through sheer force of Will.

Karen, however, looks like she's incredibly nauseated and about to be sick.

"...we...urgh...should go back to town...that...needs to be treated...as soon as possible...before...it gets worse...blargh...please stop waving that arm around..."

Dax makes his way down the ledges at a leisure pace, but upon seeing the frankly unpleasant angle Pyra's arm is in he panics and rushes forward.

"Oh no! Pyra, are you alright!?" Dax exclaims as he reached the rest of the group. "I knew we should have done things a little more slowly! Now Pyra got herself hurt really badly, and it could have happened to any of us! Can we please do things a little more calmly next time? I would hate it if anyone else got hurt badly like this!"

Dax suddenly pauses, takes a step back, closes his eyes and breathes in deeply. He opens his eyes, and continues a little more calmly.

"You think you'll be able to brave the pain till we get back home, love?" He asks gently.
I'm no one special. Also, here's a pupper pic:

Like with the rest of the group, Pyra tries her best to assuage the aquatic salamander's (in her opinion) needless worries over her injury with a smile and nod.

"As have said once, twice, and now thrice, I am very okay and dandy Dax! My arm is not such a problem that we can not continue to explore the Mystery Dungeon readily, no, so if that be your desire and wish I will fulfill it! *Looks thoughtful* Promise I shall to not to dive down great heights unless it be the only option for us to progress or to save you or our friends lives I will, though. Learnt I am not as tough in body as I am heart and soul, indeed *Nods* , so I should observe-adhere to better caution in my actions verily!"

When Karen starts becoming sick both alarms and mystifies the brimstone imp, as she can't understand why or how that happens. Immediately she skips over to the lil' fairy, her broken arm dangling along with her as she look down and over them with concern - though she does her best to keep it still at her request by holding it in place on her barrel with her other unhurt claw.

"My fellow female friend Karen, whatever is the matter, that which now plagues you tiny tummy so tumultuously? If you feel the need, can not continue in good mind and health, take you back to Sahra Town we shall."

She attempts to give a comforting pat on the head to the sparkling empath, before noticing she almost tried to do so with her wounded arm and stopped, giving her a Mareepish smile for nearly disobeying her on accident.

(Still need at least one vote on whether or not the group stays or leaves the MD, mates, so putt'em out there!)

Skipping over to give Karen a head pat proves to be rather difficult since Karen is still on top of the cliff, and Pyra isn't exactly in a condition that allows her to climb.

"...urk...do you really not feel that pain?  Because I certainly do.  I don't know...blegh...how you're still skipping around without a care in the world...instead of keeling over and screaming as if your life depended on it..."

Oh. Welp, the thought still counts!

That question and her following nauseated query brought up Pyra short, causing her to stop smiling and think both over for several long seconds, eyes closing shut in deep contemplation. Upon re-opening them, she trained her gaze once more on Karen and with spoke to her with a great deal more deliberation than usual, tapping her chin with her good claw as she did so.

"No. I feel sensations from my broken arm. They are sharp, strong, and sustained. Every time I move it, those sensation renew themselves or grow ever more bold. If those myriad and meandering sensations are supposed to be indicative of pain, then I suppose I am experiencing it greatly right now."

Then, after a couple more seconds of thought, the fiery demoness just.....gave the tenderhearted fae a full shrug.

"I do not believe it to be a problem or concern. I was curious and intrigued about it at first, but, now that I know what it is in depth, I am not anymore. It is there, it is, and I believe it will continue to exist until my arm is healed, but I do not feel it is urgent to do so. The injury is not so critical to jeopardize either my ability to fight or explore, nor is it critical enough to necessitate a Oran Berry.

*Smiles* Therefore I see no reason to focus on it. I'm fine! That is all! So please don't worry about it, my dear fair and fairy friend!  "

She say that with all her usual pep and lively spirit, no longer so contemplative and beaming up at Karen without care.

And that was the crux of the matter of Pyra's feelings about her broken arm: she doesn't care about it much at all. No, it is even less than that. Her injury and the pain it is causing is simply irrelevant to her, in or out of a vacuum. It affects her, yet it does not affect her. Perhaps were it a more crippling she'd pay it more mind, but judging from her attitude right now it just as likely it would not greatly affect her usual cheerful and carefree self.

How, though? *Shrugs* Who knows? She certainly doesn't.

Kogeki by now already is in bottom of the cliff together with Kee looking at the scene with concern. He then sight and try to smile a bit. "If you say so Pyra...But I still do think you should look some medic or something in the town. At least to the arm not get worse."

"If you feel still want to go out business later. Your health is important." Kogeki is mentioning the Pokemon hunting Pyra invited Kogeki to test his Aura draining abilities.

Well, since Karen and Kogeki more or less has the opinion of 'HS Pyra you need to get that arm fixed ASAP!' and the brimstone imp is worried about the sudden illness befalling the former, she'd take everyone back to Sahra Town with her Adventurer's Badge, report their mission success with the Guild, and then beet feet with/without them beat feet to the nearest doctor or 'close enough' substitute she can find/be pointed to (in that order). She doesn't get why everyone is so worried about her broken arm when she was not, but if they all insist about taking care of it, so be it!

These words from the fierly demon unfortunately don't diminish Ziggy Kee's concern or sadness... In fact his expression suggests that they increase it instead. The gaze he gives her is one that channels anxiety, compassion, care and a strong sense of gloomy melancholy. "My my, Pyra, dear.... o(TヘTo)" Kee edges closer without saying more (to a degree where he's almost 'cuddled up to her'), positions himself so that his back supports her broken arm, and even dares to all faintly yet honestly gently lick over her cheek. "Now, listen... Ya may feel 'n think ya're fine, but... But!... Ya CAN'T be tot'lly sound 'n well if ya just j... jump'd down that cliff just to see what happens, dontcha lie or play tha strong one t'me ( ._.) Yes ya CAN still walk, run, bite, fight if ya want, but yar 'minor' injury will only get worse if not treated quickly, 'n foes may see ya as easy target of attacks upon noticin' that ya're injured. Ya see?"

He beginns to sniffle, his voice staggers. "B'sides, YOU may say ya're fine... But seein' ya fall 'n hit tha ground like that, it... *light sob*...It's causin' ME sorrow 'n distress, it pains mah heart in some way; I dunno why, but it DID 'n still DOES." He quickly rubs over his deep-red eyes as they fill with tears. "Please try not t'do somethin' dangerous like that again, will ya...?" He whispers that as he leans in just a little more.

And then he shakes his head to semi-hide the fact that he's at the verge of crying. "No Oran Berry? Well, then not, very well." He packs it away. "Lemme try somethin' different t'least though...":

A Stabilize Check. Can Ziggy Kee use leaves, twigs and bark from the tree/s to impromptu-splint Pyra's broken arm? The actual roll would be 2 Dext + 0 Knowledge + 0 Medicine - 3 Inaccuracy, but if Logic adds to that it'll be exactly 1d6; if the Single Action/the fact that Pyra'a not struggling or bleeding = Kee can concentrate on this tast counts in, it's even 3d6.

Regardless whether ot whether not this works or succeeds, Kee kinda prefers to call it a day and return to the Guild to receive the rewards and report succesfully accoplishes missions to Floette.
