[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

"Training... Hmmm... I'm tempted, but I also really want to take a dip. You might not be feeling it, but I really am not loving of this heat. I think I'll go for that dip instead. Have fun though, mate."

"If you say so. No problem them." Kogeki then look at Karen. "What about you Karen? Up for some sparing?


Kogeki strech his arms. "I think I gonna go to the rooms wait for Floette then I going to search this Guild for some place to train with my Kunai. If not, I gonna in the dojo. That place could be good to train before call a day."

[Dragonstrike]

"...uh, I think I'm good for now, honestly.  I'm starting to feel a little sore from the dungeon crawling we did earlier."

Everyone's stomachs rumble again, including Kogeki's.

"...and that's our cue to go find some food, I guess!  Ahahaha.  Let's go get some food first before we do anything else!"

Down the hall from the lobby where it seemed like other pokemon were gathered the first time the group visited the guild, they find that the path splits again.  One of the corridors seems to lead towards various personal rooms where the guild's members relax, sleep, and spend their free time.  The other leads to the dining room, where a large number of pokemon seem to have gathered around several tables.  The latter is the group's current destination.

Team Gallop can be seen around one of the tables munching away.

Also around one of the tables are the Arcanine, Lurantis, and Barbaracle that were present this morning in the lobby.

Chimical, Solosis, and a Porygon 2 can be seen at another, discussing something.

The rest of the tables in the room are currently empty, but a whimsical looking Vanilish floats over to the party to greet them with what sounds like a french accent.  (man, voice acting is so much less fun when nobody can hear you)

"Ah, so you are ze new guild members, no?  Welcome to my dining hall!  I am ze head chef here, Coldwell, and I guarantee that the food here will stave off the heat of this harsh land!  Adventurers are no good if they get heat stroke, yes?  Go on, have a seat!  I shall bring you my finest work for the evening!"

It should be noted that the lil' demoness, in another fit of playful affection, skips right next to Dax and unceremoniously grabs one of his hand with her good one and hold it as the group walked to the cafeteria, humming a chipper tune the entirity of the time. She hasn't yet made big efforts towards bonding and socializing with the aquatic salamander, so some hand holding should hopefully bring them together figuratively and literally!

Upon entering the mess hall, Pyra's gaze only rests on the foals for a moment before she turned away and focused on the rest of the place and its current inhabitants. Before her natural curiosity and inquisitive got the chance to drive her to investigate and strike up a conversation with her new Guildmates, what looks to be a.....floating fluffy looking icicle comes up and introduces themselves to her and the group and instantly put cross hairs on it instead. 

"Yes, indeed we are! My name is Pyra the Devimp, She Who Comes From Flames and Darkness! Nice to meet you, Coldwell, the Frozen Floating Chef! Heat should not be a bother or grievance to me, no, but I appreciate your thoughtelligent concern for your patrons and us! Eagerly I shall wait for your meal, anticipating how good it is with zeal!"

Pyra would then find a table at their prompting, choosing one as far away from Team Gallop as she could get. Less chance to interact with them, the less likely any problems will crop up. That, and she just wants to continue to ignore them for possibly forever, or until their Leader manages to humble himself and apologize.

"Welp, you loose then."

Kogeki never stop to be amaze about this place. The architecture and everything else. He did notice Team Gallop there and a few other people. Since Team Gallop meet the party before, they notice us?

Kogeki then hear the Vanilish greet them. "Huh. Nice to meet ya. This place looks pretty cool. No pun intended I swear Coldwell." Kogeki then present himself. "Kogeki Kurayami is my name. But call me Kogeki."

Upon seeing the Chimical and Solosis, Dax gritted his teeth and growled.
"There those pieces of shit are. Let's keep our distance from the fuckers. I don't want to be goaded into a fight with them. Last thing we need is to get into a scuffle."

Upon Pyra grabbing his hand he wriggled free of her grasp.
"Sorry love, don't mean to insult you or anything. Just value my personal space."

The Vanillish was a strange one.
"Nice accent. I think I've heard it somewhere. Can't remember where though. Pleased to meet you mate. Table for five? We're starving."

The more Kogeki talks, the more Ziggy Kee gets the feeling that this ninja of a deltadoggo is, like, either obsessed with power or very power-hungry, or possibly both. He frowns somewhat over this, but shrugs it off rather quickly.


Kee's very curious about these 'personal rooms' hinted upon, wagging his bushy tail and sniffing they air in excitement as they all come across the the corridor that leads to these rooms. First get some food, then check out their dorm, yay! ( ÒωÓ)و☆

AAAAAHHH and hoo boi, sooooo many interesting other guild members are present in this dining hall!~ Kee gets a bit competitive over this sight, takes an agressive and ready-to-pounce stance and all that, but leaves it at that as he 1. doesn't want to cause a ruccus here out of all places, and 2. it's dinner time. And dinner time shall be peaceful and calm in his view!

As such, he doesn't really say or do anything about neither Team Gallop nor Team Artificers other than noticing that they're there; and semi-admonish Daxter about his language: "My, Dax, I know ya don't like Chimi 'nd co., but dontcha just insult 'em, will ya please? (^v^; ) If they hear, THEY might goad US 'nto a fight. No fights nor aguments over dinner, 'kay?~ 'kay, thanks!~~"

Whimiscal-looking and French Vanilish is greeted by Kee with a non-chalant and stylish two-claw-salute. "Ohhh, hellohello, icy head chef Coldwell, thanks for the hearty welcom'!~ I'm Ziggy Kee, with a double-E, 'appy 'n proud af t'be a new Adventurer of this Guild! Will wait for yar FIIINEST WORK with eager 'n joy, yay!~" He doesn't feel that he needs to bring up that he's a strict vegetarian towards Coldwell, given that civlized Pokemon don't eat fellow Pokemon. Hopefully his trust is not misplaced...


While waiting, Ziggy Kee causally opts to lick his paws clean and bring up a different topic towards the others: "So, eh, peopl', gien we''re offici'l member of tha Guild now(!!1!!11!), we kinda need a Team Name, don't we?~ ...Can I s'ggest somethin'? Yes? Yay! So, I like 'The Inner Darkness' for us, can be 'breviated to 'TID' 'f d'sired. Mostly 'nspired by tha way we came 'nto this world (aka, via being crushed by a falling stone pillar), 'nd our quest giv'n t'us by The Original One 'emselves, with a smol hint on our various species...."

"Team The Inner Darkness? Hmm...I don't know but, I think think it's a very appealing name. Its kinda also make obvious for the reason we have 2 members of our group be dark and 1 ghost."

"I was thinking about a few names myself: Team Souls (For the reason we have more than one type of soul inside is, human and Pokemon), Team Bravery because we fight against all foes before us with courage, Team Break because we wreck any enemy who in our way. Team Mystical, because we have so many different types of Pokemon in our Team."

"Or my personal favorite: Team Aura. Because despite all of us have different views, opinions and be from different species, we are fighting together to figure out our situation and help each other as one thing. Like the Aura is around us."

"That's a few suggestions of names I been trying to think about. I just think Team Inner Darkness it's a...kinda obvious name, not that's is a problem of course Kee. I have no intention in insult or make you feel bad in any way. I just trying to help."

Ziggy Kee shrugs casually. "Oh, I like the ring of 'Team Mystic', but I don't really feel like it'd suit us. 'Soul' is fine, but I'd kinda pr'fer if we get a team name that DOESN'T c'nsist of just one word, that feels not stylish 'nough... 'The Second Soul'? Nah, too obvious..." (Cuz better not hint on them all having been human originally)

"Ohhhh 'The Inner Darkness' MAY sound 'n feel obvious, but it actually ISN'T, mah lov'ly K'geki! (･ω<)☆ To others it can feel like it hints to our species 'n Types, when t'us it has a different 'n deeper meaning."

"Hmm makes sense. But some reason the sound "Inner Darkness" doesn't sound cool enough at least to me. We could someway short the name a bit. Like...Inner Dark, Inner Shade or Inner Shadow. It go along with the theme of the name you mentioned just in a short way and make a bit more sonorous. It's just my opinion though so feel free to disagree with."

[Dragonstrike]

Coldwell chuckles at Kogeki's unintentional pun.  "Don't you worry about ze wordplay!  I love puns!  Sadly, they're not a dish best served cold.  A chilly reception means you need to reevaluate your usage, no?"

"I shall return momentarily with your aliments momentarily!"

Off Vanilish goes to get everyone's food while the group discusses their team's name.

Karen's not so sure about the suggested ones so far.  "I dunno...do those names really describe all of us?  I mean, if the rest of you want to go with one of those, that's fine with me, but..."
