[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

Ohhhh, more scraps of seeds! Ziggy Kee sniffs them and can absoutely not help but to snatch a few and eat them - ughh, they still taste like nothing.

The trail ends at this wall? Huh, how CURIOUS!!~ In an instant his attention and focus in on that very wall that dear Karen currently presses her hands against. "Hehehe, where did they go - maybe they glitched through the wall!~" He eagerly sniffs, scratches and licks and the wall in question; and pokes it with the branch of a tree he got with himself, that too. All to see whether it does anything/whether it allures a reastion/whether he finds out some hints of what happened.

Nothing seems to happen when that section of wall is touched.  Looks and feels like a normal wall.

(Ahahahahahaha, so cool) He shivers a bit from the taste, super-curious Ziggy Kee has learnt that it's a bad idea to lick random walls.


Very well then - "Hey, people!~", he yells towards the others, "anyone up t'come with me to head up these stairs ahead? *he points to them, the continues sharping his claws on the wall* Might find some hints where Monferno went up there. Or find Monferno themselves playin' tricks on us, havin' laid a false trail here. That mischievous lil' monkey...!~"

"Hmm...let me try something first before we head towards our goal." Kogeki will use Foresight to see if something happens. I don't know, like if he can glimpse the Monferno is someway trying to make a stealth attack against everyone.

Dax observed the rest of the events without saying anything. He was happy with the outcome of that situation. Pyra didn't heartlessly murder a defenseless pokemon, and the group got yet another teammate. He stood at the back of the group, silently observing all of their antics. He chuckles dryly and shakes his head as Kee recoils at the taste of the wall. What did he expect? Rock Candy?

Karen becomes a little lost in thought as she tries to remember, and thus drops the topic for the time being.

Moving on, it's finally time for the group to reach the location of their first mission objective!  Hooray!

A large pile of those seed scraps sits at the base of the wall to the team's right as they initially enter this tile.  More vexing is that the trail of seed scraps and red fur seems to end there.  Monferno was definitely here, but where did they go?

The corridor continues past the end of the trail, and it seems to become a large set of stairs a little further along.

Karen walks up to the pile of scraps, looks at it for a moment, then presses her hands against the wall it's next to.  "...okay, so...what do we do now?  The trail seems to end at this wall..."

(Sorry for the late post, but yesterday I was busy helping my dad run some errands!)

Pyra simply shrugs at Karen's light admonishment, giving her a carefree smile in the process.

"That is fine and most dandy indeed, yes, for I seek nor desire other companions and friends. You and the others are infinitely more than suffice for meager we, ye he~!"

And with that so too does the brimstone imp drop the topic! Moving on too....

...Investigating the new room! While Kee taste test the wall where the seed crumbs were at (Something which not even she is curious enough to try) and Kogeki uses his Foresight powers, Pyra elects to simply investigate and look around the whole place, up, down, and all around. Emphasis on 'up' , as given what little she knows about Monfernos is that they're monkeys, which have a tendacy to reach the highest places with their acrobatics and nimbleness. This includes going up the Stairs too, and she might have already explore there by the time Kee sounds off for the other to do the same as she.

At the top of the stairs, there's what looks like a small room.  In said room, there's a few scattered seeds on the floor that haven't been eaten yet.

There's two seeds with a tiny sprout sticking out of them.  Kee has one of these already, so it's easy to identify them as Tiny Reviver Seeds.

There's also a seed with a dull green colored shell, with a tiny black polka dot pattern covering it quite substantially.  Just looking at it is making everyone's eyes cross slightly because there's so many polka dots.

Pyra's searching doesn't seem to turn up anything out of the ordinary, but Kogeki notices something odd when he uses Foresight.  On the wall to the right of the top of the stairs, one of the torches seems to be a ghostly illusion that was hiding a button of some variety.

Kogeki after a few minutes open his eyes. He get closer to his companions and tell them. "I felt something. In that wall..." He point towards the wall on the right top of the stairs. "That torch seems to be a ghostly illusion. There is a button of some sort there. Do you guys want to check out?"

Huuuuuhhhh, how interesting...! Becoming a black-and-white whirlwind once more, Ziggy Kee is immediately at the yet-uneaten Seeds to eagerly sniff at them. Is there any hint of a scent that would point to the sought-out Monferno, or red fur from them among these scattered seed? And can he pick up and store the two Tiny Reviver Seeds and that odd green- and polka-dotted seed into his guitar back, or does something happen when he tries to? (He has enough room in there to take them along) Since these are uneaten and 'just laying around', Ziggy Kee will NOT just leave them here.

Once Pyra started to feel little off just by seeing at the odd Seed Kee found she reeled away from it with a shock, affronted look, be it quickly turned (for her) remarkably cross. No.....no. Not again. She won't let this bad seed make her experience that off feeling again, or allow it to inflict that feeling onto anyone else.

Thinking such, she was only a scant few seconds away from ripping it out of the black 'n white crittercoon paws, throwing it on the ground, and burning it to hell and back, but his timely comment force her to pause to consider it. A few seconds later she could only let out a small huff and nodded, her expression now uncharacteristically neutral as she continued to leer (and maybe actually Leer) at the bad seed.

"You are likely right and correct, Ziggy Kee. It would the be for the best to put it away for them post haste, keep it nice, hidden, and safe for them to collect and inspect it later, yes."

Kogeki's discovery of the Hidden Button is enough to raise her mood from 'disturbingly plain' to 'intensely curious' , looking at the Illusion Torch that hide it with unkempt fascination and, in a flash, almost bubbling eagerness!

"Yes, yes, indeed we should discren that Button hidden secret purpose. Allow me!"

Saying thus, she'd motion for everyone to get back some distance away from the Illusion Torch, go back about half some distance herself, draw her one Gravelrock/Geopebble, take aim, and tried to press/hit the Hidden Button by throwing the Rock at it, ready to leg it away from said I.T. . Having learnt the lesson of 'Don't get too close to things not yet proven to be 'safe' unless you have to and/or practice due caution first' from her near disasterous Encounter with that rotten tree, she elect on this new strategy to satisfy her curiosity and try to keep herself and everyone safe!
