[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

Karen closes her eyes and looks away as Kogeki mercilessly saps a portion of the fire monkey's aura from it.

...and she ends up looking right at the mess that is Kee and Pyra right now.  She coughs uncomfortably to get their attention.  "...um...I guess I could heal you, Kee, but is it necessary?  We could just...go home now, you know...mission accomplished and all, right?"

Daxter's attempt to rouse the Monferno from his unconsciousness are met with failure.  After being beat up by 5 pokemon and then having his aura drained, he's probably not going to wake up any time soon.

Using the badges to send Monferno back to the guild sounds like a good idea, though!

It's easy enough for Kee to pick up some of the red fur that Monferno has been shedding.  Kee manages to gather (4) two units worth of it (and they'll share an inventory slot).

Kee also finds that Monferno dropped another one of those X-Eye seeds, as well as a seed with a pitch black shell.  Given they don't look like they've been munched on, they're probably not as tasty as whatever those other seeds were.

(Is Kogeki feel something different from absorb this Monkey Aura? If it is different from absorb wild Pokemon since this one is more strong than some of the regular Pokemon we meet?)

(Also, is there something ahead since there is ahead a path? I want to explore a bit more and see if we can found another item. More exploration mean more loot.)

When Karen coughs to get Ziggy Kee's and Pyra's attention, the latter jumps from being startled rather strongly and just staaares at the smol golden-silverly Ralts with that vivid blush still in his face. A second later he vehemently shakes his furry head. "I... I SAID THAT I'M GOOD N' ALRIGHT! (>0<; ) No need t'heal me, t...thankies for tha offer, but no thanks !" His tone of voice is kind, yet obviously embarassed, awkward and not-used-to-the-worry-for-himself still.


Aaaaand all of that shed Monferno Hair, the additional X-Eye Seed and that curious black Seed wander into his guitar bag. His collector's and I-found-interesting-stuff heart rejoices over the findings. But now he can't carry any more Items.

Team OS sends Monferno back to the guild with their badges, then takes a right down the corridor, as the path straight ahead is brightly lit by what appears to be sunlight.  The torches continue to light the area around the party, and they eventually find themselves in a room with walls that glitter like gold in the torchlight.  A pool of still water sits in the middle of the room, and scattered around it are various items.

- About 500 loose Poké
- A small, blue colored, locked chest

Pyra also notices that two particular spots on the floor seem to be glittering as well.

Karen's eyes go wide at the sight, and she can't help but stare at the room in wonder.  "Woooooooowwww...this looks amazing!"

Pyra was a little put off when Karen unintentionally ruined whatever moment of affection between her and Ziggy Kee, poutting at the empath just a little bit before she resumed smiling and gives him one last comforting/reassuring pat on his fuzzy head before letting go of him and walk away to do some scavanging around the Room (or if he already freed himself, give him space to collect himself regardless). Sweet and oddly tempting as it was, she couldn't kiss and huggle the punk star all day, least of all in the middle of hostile territory. Later on, though.......now that was something nice to think about~

The fiery demoness shared in the smol fae's sheer amazement at the positively resplendent looking room, mutely nodding her head as she took in the almost gaudy scenery and the riches that were littered throughout it. Oh my my my, this place was so very bold and golden. Cofagrigus would probably be ecstatic and thrilled with the place if he were with them, judging from what little she know of the Gold obsessed spirit.

Speaking of which, the moment she notice those two sparkling patches her interest and curiosity immediately spikes like an angry Forrestress, and without missing a beat she goes over to investigate and (if she could) dig at the spots with her claws. Whatever could these glimmering signs hide-hint at to her.....?

The ground in those spots seems to be rather soft, and it doesn't take long before Pyra's dug up 2 Gold Bars from the two sparkling spots!

About the loose 500$P, since Pyra doesn't want any, that'll be shared between Karen/Kee/Kogeki/Daxter then.
Option 1: Have them all have 125$P.
Option 2: Have them all have 100$P and store 100$ in the group funds.
What shall it be?

Ziggy Kee himself has no room anymore for Items, neither in the Adventures Bag nor his guitar bag - anyone else want to take the Gold Ribbons and Treasure Chest?

Alternatively, carry them as Held Items. Or Kee will nom the Plain Seed to have 1 free Inventory Slot to carry something.
Would be best though for the same person carrying both the Gold Ribbons to sell them simultaneously. Or possibly not to raise any questions where they've got them from.

Kogeki couldn't help but sigh in disappointing. "...Nothing different. I was hoping you could bring something different Monferno. Guess I was wrong."

When everyone see the treasure room, Kogeki was impressed. "Guess we hit the jackpot. We gonna be rich for a good while."

(I honestly choose option 2. Save funds might be something good to do. We never know when we might need for emergencies.)

Kogeki approach the Gold Ribbons and the treasure chest. "Hmm. I curious to see what is inside this thing. Gonna carry this. Mind if I carry this Kee?" Kogeki then will put inside both the treasure chest and the Gold Ribbons inside."

Before they do something else, Kogeki just do a last searching in the room to see if they are not leaving anything behind. 

With that done he say to everyone. "Told you guys it was worth explore a bit more. Lady luck was indeed in our side today. Are you ready people to leave this dungeon and return to the city?"

To say that Pyra was greatly elated by her discovery of the hidden GOLD would be entirely accurate. Her eyes glimmered at the pure and brillent treasure in her claws, and briefly she could begin to understand her ghostly guild mate's lust for the precious metal. It was just so.....pretty and alluring, especially since it she found it and it was now hers. After spending a moment longer admiring her Gold, the brimstone imp would stash it away into her Bag, taking up the remainder of it (Unless the two of them stack together, like Geo Pebbles/Rocks [Speaking of which, did Pyra ever retrieve the one she broke?]) along with her much less valuable Units of Scarp Metal. Funny that a Fire type is the one that ends up taking the most liking to metals, and carrying most them around too!

As for the Inventory Issues that Kee seemed to be having, Pyra would offer a novel but simple solution: Have two of the group wear the Gold Scarves (either as Held Items or Apparel), and she'd carry the Blue Chest herself as a Held Item. Unlike most of the others she didn't need to use her arms and claws in attacks, so carting around the locked up booty was a no brainier for her, and the other Loot should be easy enough for her friends to wrap around themselves tightly to 'hold on' to them until they sold/stored them later. 

Kogeki's inquiry is meet with a resounding "Yes yes, we and I would indeed like to return to our Guild-domain and rest!" from the mischevious fiendess, as she was well and truly ready at this point to leave this crazy M.D. and recuperate from it. That, and she wanted to show off her Gold to Cofagrigus ASAP and share her joy with its beautiful bounty!

That's both totally fine to Ziggy Kee. Naturally, whoever carries the GoldRibbons and TreasureChest will be responsible for selling them/opening the chest and share the cash/content with the others later!~


The furry punkstar, still somewhat hurt but incredibly adamant on insiting that he's fine, has no objections about returning to the Guild now. "Can always come back 'n 'xplore this curious place more 'nother day!~" And he's got so much stuff to be taken care of outside a Mystery Dungeon, and he's starting to become hungry again...


Back at the Guild, he'll at first greet Floette with a graceful one-claw-salute and then look out for Silicobra.
