[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
Daxter shrugs noncommittally as Floette tells him that he can only see the recruited Pokemon and the Guildmaster the next day. Not much else to do on this fine evening except to get something into his belly, and tuck in for the night.

We don't have to roleplay every dinner scene, just so you know.  If you guys want to get some food from Coldwell or Kangaskhan, you can also come up with a request for what kind of dish you'd like yourself (though those two outlets usually use plants as their primary ingredients.  Not much meat, but they have plenty of vegetarian variety).

If I have things to add about certain NPCs that are present and what they're doing/saying, then I'll mention it when you head to those places.  Like right now!

On the way to the mess hall, a pokemon bumps into Team OS, sending both them and *rolls* Karen tumbling to the ground!  "Oof!  Hey, watch where you're going!"

The pokemon just so happens to be the Braixen that everyone saw on their first day here, and she looks a little more curious once she sees who she's run into.  "...wait, are you guys new here?  I don't recognize you..."

(In that case, I rather just skip dinner scenes with Pyra altogether, as she's of the 'Eat Fast, Talk Little' school of table etiquette unless drawn into conversations. That, and she's not particularly picky, so she doesn't see a need to do requests for meals most of the time)

The fiery demoness is swift to hop back and offers a claw to help the smol fae from her tumble, looking at them with a minor amount of concern. At the Braixen's slightly rude remark, she glances up at them neutrally and tilts her head, giving them no apology or any words. Just a silent, slightly intense stare. Their question, however, earns them another tilt of the brimstone imp's head as she briefly contemplates it, before rasping out a short answer.

"Yes, indeed. We are Team OS, the Omega Seekers. To whom are you, to us and to others?"

Her tone is polite, but lacking in her signature energy and enthusiasm. Seems she's not intent on causing trouble with her fellow Fire type, but neither was she warming up to them after their treatment of Karen.

Kogeki approach Karen and help her stand up again. "First of all fox, be a little more polite when you bump with someone would cool. Or at least help the other stand up would be good enough."

"Second, the way to greet someone would be more or less like this: "Hey, you guys are new here? Never see you guys before, welcome to the Guild! I Braixen."

Kogeki said those words looking at Braixen with some sarcastic included in every word. "And yes, answering your rude point, we are new here. We join the Guild yesterday. The name Kogeki. Kogeki "Anubis" Kurayami. And the one you bump is my companion Karen." Kogeki approach Braixen be a little close. "Do you have a name, or are you simple name yourself Braixen? And it seems most Guild members are not only over competitive, but also lack how to be more polite."

Did Kogeki Antecipation trigger something about this Braixen Dragon?

In that case, can Kee have something involving Chestnuts tonight? I have the feeling that a Zigzagoon belongs to the species that can eat those with the same efficiency like Apples. He's kinda curious about the taste and texture.

Scene with Braixen:

Ziggy Kee's back on his feet rather quickly and shakes himself before looking up to the fox with his deep-read eyes full of wonder and curiosity, no fear at all. He also slow-blinks at them, being too exhausted and hungry to provoke them into fighting. Both Pyra and Kogeki already helped Karen up and issued an answer to Braixen, so no need for him to chip in to that.

He does however, give Kogeki a headbutt right into his side that he'll definitely notice (but not strong enough that the deltadoggo falls over) and STAAAAARE him into the ground with fierce and wild eyes. "K'geki, YA'RE the rude one if ya: 1. try to lecture s'meone older than us, and 2. talk bad 'bout the Adventure's Guild an' is members which I am rather proud to be accepted in." A huff and low snarl escaped the crittercoon to emphasize that he's NOT pleased by especially the latter point.

Chestnuts?  Oh yeah, Coldwell definitely has some of those in stock.  Peeled and chilled, they're quite delicious nuts!  They add a lot of crunch to whatever dish they're put in.  It's a mystery how Coldwell manages to peel their spiky shells without any arms, though...

--------------------------------------------------------------

Karen doesn't seem as immediately concerned about Braixen's abbrasiveness as Pyra and Kogeki seem to be.  "I'm fine, guys.  I'm not hurt, though I suppose I could have tried to pay more attention to what was happening.  I'm sorry, Braixen."

Braixen gets up and dusts herself off while Pyra helps Karen get up.

She's actually kinda polite towards Karen.  "Apology accepted.  Just try not to let it happen again."  She turns to face Kogeki when she answers his questions, and she's not amused by his initial reaction either.  "Hmph.  You're one to talk about being rude, trying to boss me around.  You should listen to your spiky friend."

She crosses her arms, somewhat annoyed with Kogeki as she introduces herself.

"No nickname, just Braixen.  And you should know I'm the guildmaster's daughter.  Now, if you'll excuse me, I have places to be."

...and then she's gone, moving past Team OS in the corridor, seemingly in some kind of hurry.

When Kogeki was sure about Karen is good he was a little better.

Kogeki didn't said anything to Braixen words, only roll his eyes. "Well, can you blame me in have a not good impression about some members? Team Gallop and Team Artificers don't exactly leave a good first impression on me. That proud you have be accepted? The only thing I feel is mixed feelings about this place. So don't feel offended Kee if I have my reasons in see the way I see about the Guild or some members."

Kogeki let Braixen go not saying any more words, since it wouldn't do anything good in the conversation. Kogeki himself also not in the mood to talk with Braixen after his encounter with Team Artificer who deep his feeling of distrust and poison opinion about the Guild members. He just paying back the way some of the Guild throw at him. Eye for eye. Teeth to teeth.

"...Let's just reach our rooms and sleep already. We need to rest."

Pyra's expression lightened up a tad bit at her fae friend's reassurance, giving her smile as she lifted them up onto their feet before she turned to observe the brief exchange between Braixen and Kogeki. She blinks in surprise at the fiery fox's niceness (though she briefly frowns at them letting Karen take the full blame for the accident), not expecting that at all. Their rudeness towards the phantom brave was less than surprising or appreciated, but in this case she was able to accept it with a sort of 'understanding' . Though they started the unbecomingness between them and the group, Kogeki took it in his own paws and worsened it, so getting snipped back at was only deserved, really. In other words, reciprocity had take its course, which she considered reasonable and not a thing to get worked up about (at least in this case).

Braixen's reveal that they were the Guildmaster's daughter.....well, it didn't come as much of a shock to the mischevious demoness - though it did earn the fox in question another head tilt, this one more appraising and concerned. She had a premonition that the surely kit was related to Boss Delphox in some way, and the air of authority and the attitude they carried only further reinforced the notion that they were important. Still, this reveal was something to take great note of, as getting on their bad side of them was likely to land them into no small amount trouble with their mom, if only because such conduct would naturally be undesirable for their kin and their investment in them. And Kogeki's dismissal of them and their rank + his sass could make a great head start on a long and difficult relationship with the young vixen and, by extension, the entire Guild.

This.....she had to fix things, before they get worse. Quickly.

Unfortunately by the time she analyzed the situation and came to that conclusion, Braixen had already departed, leaving her in a sort of lurch as she stared after them, now slightly (and ever growingly) distressed. Then, quick as a Sudden Strike, she rounded on Kogeki, interupting their chat with Kee and giving him a dark and most scathing look and a smile born of the deepest frustrations.

"Oh, Kogeki," Pyra thrilled in an all too sweet tone. "Have to ask, I do: are thou trying to be a fool, and doom you and us all? And had you learnt nothing about Ettiquette or care with our Guild mates, from our Boss Delphox and echoed by myself, from our most previous encounter with Team ArtificerBecause thou have made a splendid show of that all."

The demoness suddenly reaches underneath the dread anubis' chin and clenches it with a claw, tilting his head so his eyes meet her directly as she leaned in close to him.

"Do please listen to me, and keep what I say close to heart and mind. Control yourself better, conduct yourself well and proper to others, and learn when, where, and why the time to behave as you may. If you do not or can not, either one, then I will make a most extraordinary effort to make you. For that, that, that is a lesson most dear, for your, our, and everyone's future, well being, and future well being. We are not titans yet, and even when we are we can not act without impunity, for if we garner enough enmity from others with our actions it will cause us ceaseless difficulty, or failure and fall. D o   y o u   u n d e r s t a n d ,  m y   d e a r   K o g e k i  ? "

Hell hath no fury, like a demoness scorned and made irate by the idiocy of those she cares about.

Kogeki took a few moments to digest Pyra words...and look at her and answer. "I understand Pyra...however, let me answer other thing: I was rude yes, but since we joined this Guild we see most Parties in this Guild don't care about anyone, or rather rude too. Don't you remember Team Gallop in how they ignore your plead to help find Karen? Or how Team Artificer act toward anyone?"

"I sound rude? I admit that. But after what I see within this Guild, that's the only reaction you have to think. If some of the Guild members are the way as they are, can you blame me to expect the worse? What other finale I should expect after how the Guild members act, save for a few exceptions like Floette?"

Kogeki said those frustrations who been inside his throat for quite a while since they joined the Guild. He looked tired, frustrated and anger. He didn't said out loud but he also felt...responsible in not be strong enough or very much useful in Monferno battle. Not to mention the almost disaster with Team Artificer where he was forced to ignore his pride and let Team Artificer do what they want and simple go before he could even retaliate, even with he was a leader.

And a Braixen coming and bashing someone in the group when Kogeki is not in his best mood (even if said Braixen is the Guildmaster daughter) is not exactly helpful. Kogeki already thin patience snap.

He sighs both in frustration and tiredness. "...However you do have a point Pyra. I was rude towards Braixen, who can and might complicate things things to us in the future. Tomorrow I will make sure to find her and apologize her for my today behavior. If I go after her now, it might not sound a genuine apologize. Besides, both and me and her, still in heat head, and she seems in hurry so go after her might not work."

"*Sigh* Let's just eat and sleep. Tomorrow in have a lot of things to do." Kogeki then finish the leftovers of his food and decided to call a day.

Dax walks in silence, mostly due to his overwhelming amount of hunger. It's been a long day, and they managed to do quite a lot. The rewards were kinda disappointing, but they did take lower rank missions. The more dangerous ones would obviously bring in more money. Not for the first time in the last few days, he found himself missing Buddy, and he couldn't understand why he couldn't remember anything about him. He could remember his name, and Buddy's name, and how Buddy looks, but he couldn't remember how they met, or what he used to be as a human. He could remember things from his old life, such as cars or buildings, but he couldn't remember any specific car or any specific building. It was really frustrating. He was so deep in thought that he didn't even realise what was happening till Kogeki shot his scathing reply at Braixen.

"Woah woah woah there mate. We don't need to be enemies with everyone, alright? I get you don't like this system they have here, but pissing everyone off will only get the utter crap beaten out of you. It wouldn't hurt to make a friend or two. Besides, you keep saying everyone is rude, but you're not exactly behaving like an angel at the moment. And trust me, the last person you want as an enemy is the Guildmaster. In a place like this, she's got more influence than the sherrif or even a mayor, if there is one. So let's just keep our heads down and do our job without pissing important people off, okay?"
