Just finished playing Pokemon Moon and was bored. Someone on the internet mentioned this game in a comment to an article I was reading so I had to check it out!
Thinking of doing a blind Nuzlocke run for my first time because why not? haha
I'll do my best to log my adventure but my attention span isn't always the best :p
We'll see how it goes!

Be sure to update the game to the latest patch or you will suffer the bugs and lack of online trades. Also, this game is NOT like the silly recent canon Gen games, its difficulty level is around the early 1st-3rd Gen...

I already ran the patch and everything c: Should be version 1.0.4 if I'm not mistaken?
So far I'm liking how the difficulty curve is. It's more like playing emerald/sapphire or firered/leafgreen to me so far. Before the experience gain was modified based on level and all of that. I only just got to Kevlar and am still raising my team (Eletux, Birbie and Chyinmunk so far).
Really like the art and designs so far, too, though! Already seems like a super high quality fan game (and I've played quite a lot, haha).
Do you know what the "Challenge Mode" option does, exactly? Maybe it's just b/c I'm tired, but the description it gives doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Welcome to the forum! It's been a little quiet lately, but it's still a fun place to hang out!
If I remember correctly, "Challenge Mode" ups the difficulty level of the AI trainers you encounter, but without scaling up the Exp given for the battles. Which makes it more of, you know... a challenge.
I haven't tried the Nuzlocke mode yet -- and you are quite a brave soul for wanting to start one right from the get-go! Maybe once some implied improvements to it come down the pipeline, I will.

Thanks for the welcome! c:
I've never done a blind Nuzlocke before, let alone on a game so well done, so I'm thinking it will be interesting. I haven't run into any issues with it so far though yet. Are there some glitches or something I should be worried about?

Not that I'm aware of. But there's no shiny clause (yet!), so if you encounter one and you've already made your capture for the route, you're SOL. Some of the Gyms are tricky, so be careful. Gym 4 was especially difficult for me to clear, and I'm not on a Nuzlocke run.

Ah, yeah I think I read that somewhere xD I'm not too worried about capturing shinies during Nuzlocke runs anyway, though it would def be a bit frustrating anyway haha.
Thanks for heads up, too c: I tend to over level my teams so hopefully it won't be too bad! I do this even when playing normally without Nuzlocke, lmao. I probably won't even challenge the first gym until everyone on my team is around lv 15. Hopefully we'll make it! XD
Btw, is there a quick way to quote someone in these forums without resorting to towers of text/quotes? haha

If the tower of text comes up, just go into the quote box and erase what you don't want to quote. It's recommended to add "..." if you're only quoting part of someone's post, but not required (just a little OCD grammar habit of mine).

Hey welcome to the forums! Let us know how the Nuzlocke is going. I don't know if i could be brave enough to do one on this game. The difficulty really picks up! All it takes is one tough battle to be SOL.
