[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
After Delphox finishes speaking, Daxter nods respectfully and leaves her office. No need to overstay his welcome. Kogeki's invite for a training session is sounded like a good idea.

"Yeah of course. We can start a little later. I'd like a walk, so I'll find you later. See you around mate."

Karen's request to speak to him intrigues him, so he follows her to a secluded corner.

"What is it, love? Everything alright?"

"Something felt...off about the Guildmaster.  Like...she wasn't telling us everything.  I'm not sure why exactly, but...maybe we should actually ask around about what happened the other times humans showed up?"

++ Moving on with Kee's actions now ++
Last post involving him here

Stuffing the precious Pearl back again into his guitar bag, Ziggy Kee rummages within the mass of things that it is currently holding. "Wait a moment, Marcus, will ya... Kinda wanted t'show ya one moar thing... Ah, FOUND IT!~~" As he emerges from his bag again, he's holding his diary in between his jagged jaw and begins to page through it. It's looking odd and funny at the same time to see a Galarian Zigzagoon carefully turning pages with his claws in a manner a human would do. "Look what I d'scovered on some oooold stony pillars within the Hall of Magic!"

He shows Marcus these strange signs he copied into his diary, those that he strongly assumed to be some sort of writing. One he can't read unfortunately. (Those mentioned in this post)

The furry crittercoon is incredibly excited about this finding of his. "Have ya ever seen somethin' like this b'fore? I feel these carvings have a meaning or are tellin' us somethin', they CAN'T just be there just b'cause. Unfortunately though I can't read nor decipher this stuff. Can you, Marcus?" ☆(◕‿◕ )

"Hmmmm...you found that in the Hall of Magic?  Unfortunately, I can't read it, but I can say it's definitely Unown script.  Not many pokemon are able to translate this, I'm afraid.  It's a far cry from footprint runes, so it's a bit of a lost language."

"Need the payment up front, I'm afraid.  No Rain Dance checks here.  Or in most shops, for that matter.  Not exactly good for business if I open this up and it turns out to be an item that you don't intend to sell."

To Marcus: *sad Zigzagoon-noises upon hearing that the craftsman of a Cubone can't decipher that writing either* He packs his diary with the notes away again. "I see, that's a bit of a shame..." Then his mood and attitude suddenly change to eager-and-cheerful again as Kee gives Marcus a wide, encouraging and toothy smile. "Nevermind though, just by telling me that this stuff's 'Unown script' ya already helped me quite a bunch!~ ( ÒωÓ)و☆ Knowing what this writing is called like will make it easier t'find s'mone to translate it for me, hehehe!~~"

Stretching himself, Kee then prepares to leave, but not without his obvious two-claw-salute and wink. "Well, I'll get goin' then... We'll very likely see one 'nother t'morror 'gain, either it'll be me picking up tha crafted accessory or all of us t'escort ya! Happy crafting 'ntil then, dontcha overwork yarself and stay marvelous!~~"

In a trademark zigzag-manner the colorful crittercoon Kee is making his way back to the Guild, shaking himself of any sand that caught up in his fine fur upon arriving. He approaches Floette, who is hopefully not too busy at the moment/is present at all. "Good mornin' there, my dear!~" he greets her, "Sorry if this comes outta tha blue, but I wanted t'ask ya somethin'... *cough* Say, do ya by chance know whether someone at this Guild or Town can read 'Unown Script'?

Oh and while he's already here, he'll take a look at the Job Board and eagerly snatch the F Rank Mission called 'The current was too strong!' from it: First because these Oran Berries as a reward will come in very handy, second because that Valley of Strong Winds sounds like an exciting place that just asks to be explored. (The one described here. That'll be the 4th mission we're accepting. I've just went ahead and claim it now, this day can still be a day without going on missions, but I dn't want this mission in particular get lost. I take we can still discard accepted missions if coming along better/more rewarding ones?)

In case Floette can't point Kee to someone, then he'll head to the dock of Sahra Town to see Lapras:They get the same greeting and same question, with the edit that instead of 'someone at the Guild or Town' he'll ask for someone in general. "Doesn't matter on which continent they may dwell!~ Kinda confident that at some point I'll set a paw of mine onto each of 'em, ya see?" Kee's just too curious and interested in this writing to give up on finding someone to decipher it for him!

"Hmm...I see. Makes sense. Then for now, I keep the Treasure box with me to talk with the other members of my party. I only 85 of money with me, and this is a important group decision."

Dax nods in thought as Karen tells him her suspicions. The Grandmaster did indeed look like she wasn't telling them everything. A little investigation would be the best move.

"Alright, I think so too. Let's ask around a little. Who do you think might know something about it? Maybe some of the more experienced members? Like that enormous orange dog. Or his partners. Or Coldwell or Kangaskhan. Restaurant owners usually have an ear to the ground. We could ask them?"
