These feathers get bitten and licked by Ziggy Kee until they disappear into his bag. All but ONE that is, as he's placing the biggest feather behind his yellow-tipped ear (as far as that's possible for a Zigzagoon), smiling a toothy smile and brimming with delight. "Oh, these?~", he tells the waterly Charmander in a singsang-voice, "I just find 'em quite pretty."

Onwards to the next room!

The crittercoon of a raver hisses and growles at the Staravia in particular, his deep-red eyes fixated on them and his body lowered in a ready-to-pounce stance. The sheer PRESENCE of that bird makes him wary and cautious, but he does not need to to get close to that big bird to attack!! Right, he's got his voice still, and he's going to use it to show that he's NOT afraid!!1

Accuracy Roll Kee's Snarl: 2 Dext + 2 Fight + 0 Channel - 1 Inaccuracy + 2 Single Action Bonus = 5d6
Target: Staravia and whatever Starly is the most hurt by the time it's Kee's turn. If equal, the Starly that's the highest in the Init order.
Damage Roll: 2 Special + 2 Power + STAB = 4d6
Additional notes: Will autolower both target's Special by 1, soundbased.

Anticipation Ability Activaded! Did Kogeki notice any Lethal or Super Effective Move used by of those Pokemon? Any Dark or Ghost Move detected? Or something way to much powerfull enough to detect?

(Whoops.  Forgot about Anticipation in the previous battle.  Oh well.)

Good news!  Kogeki does not shudder in Anticipation this time.

Kogeki analyze his enemies...and give his Misdreaveus companion some data. "I have some data for you. I can read other Pokemon Auras to detect any dangerous moves...like Super Effective or Lethal moves."

He points his head towards his enemies. "Didn't detected either from them. You can do whatever you want. But I think that Tangela is the most dangerous. He seems the Leader, so we can break it's formation from the Team. He can however paralyze us so be careful. I will focus my attacks on him. Do what you think is better."

Bite: Dex(2)+Fight(2)+Brawl(2)-Actions (2)=4D6
Damage: Power(2)+STR(2)=4D6

Quick Attack: Dex(2)+Fight(2)+Brawl(2)-Actions(4)=2D6

Note: All attacks focus on Tangela.

Daxter falters at the sight of the Staravia. He gulps in a mix of admiration and fear as the Staravia glares down at him, as he turns to his party. "Guys, this one is actually kinda scary. We've gotta focus fire on the big one. If we let them hit us too much, I think we'd find ourself in a bit of soup. Klink, mate, you're a steel type right? I don't think flying moves can hurt you a lot, so do you think you'd be able to stop Staravia's first move? Only if you want to. I'd never order you to get hurt for us. If you'd prefer to not get hit, just zap the big one with one of your Thunder Shock. If you do take Staravia's move, use Thunder Shock only if you think you'd be able to. Don't exert yourself. Kee, just do what you're good at. Staravia thinks it can scare us, maybe you can scare it right back with that nasty strong dark move! I'm gonna do what I'm good at. Just bubble the whole lot of them, before trying to snick the Staravia with my claws!"

Klink's Orders
Clash with Staravia's first damaging move. If Klink doesn't feel any pain by the beginning of the second move turn, then hit Staravia with Thunder Shock. If Klink doesn't want to Clash, just hit Staravia with a Thunder Shock.

Misdreavus looks Kogeki straight in the eyes after that round of orders, then looks at the opponents the two of them are facing...

...then nods, grunting in confirmation.  That's all that Kogeki gets from his fellow Ghost, but at least they seem to agree?

Ghost Maze 3, Round 1

Tangela begins the battle with a risky move!  "Alright, I'm going to create an opening for you two!  Hit them while they're incapacitated!"

Sleep Powder 1
(2) Miss

"Gah, just my luck!  Continue with the plan, though!"

Kogeki lunges towards the bundle of vines while they're distracted with giving orders to their subordinates.

Bite 1
(6)(4)(2)(4)
(4) Tangela takes 1 damage 5/6 HP
(5)(1)(2)

Misdreavus vanishes momentarily, only to reappear behind Tangela themselves while Kogeki attacks from the front.

Astonish
(5)(3)(1)(6)(2)
(4) Tangela takes 1 damage 4/6 HP -1 Pain
(4)(4)(2)

"Okay, maybe the Ghosts just want to have a nice time?  We're all here to have fun, right?"  Innocent little Bounsweet tries her very best to be as charming as possible, even though that Misdreavus is rather scary.

Play Nice
(4)(5)(1)
-1 Strength for Misdreavus

"I've got this!  I'll knock the fast one off of their feet!"

Low Kick
It doesn't affect Kogeki...

"...uh...whoops..."

"No no no!  Ghost types are immune to Normal and Fighting type attacks, Bonsly!  Here, let me show you a move that can damage th..."

Tangela is suddenly cut off by Kogeki abruptly slamming into them!

Quick Attack 2
(4)(1)
(6) Tangela takes 1 damage 3/6 HP -2 Pain

"Oof!  No big deal...I'll just heal it off...no problem!  Watch...and learn!"

Absorb 2
6d6 - 4 Actions - 2 Pain = 0d6
The move fails!

Tangela coughs as they try to catch their breath.  "Okay, new plan...we're gonna have to be a little more clever than this...this is...tougher than I thought it would be, honestly..."

Karen frowns at Pyra's response.  "I mean...this is just a training facility, Pyra.  I don't think any real harm would come to us here...if someone did get hurt, the Guild probably has medical supplies on hand to treat such injuries.  I don't really think such a harsh reaction was necessary...let's just try and all get along, okay?"

-----------------------------------------

L: (6)(1)
D: (1)(1)

Lumia initially cowers behind Karen, but after the several...let's say 'rousing' speeches from Pyra the past few rooms, she decides that it'd probably be a better idea to follow Pyra's orders here than not.

Bug Maze Final, Round 1

The spiders all begin the Round by firing poisonous barbs at all present on Ariados's command!

Poison Sting 1 on Pyra
2 Dex + 3 Fight + 1 Channel - 2 = 4
(6)(1)(4)(2)
(6) Pyra takes 1 damage 4/5 HP
(4)(2)(3)

Poison Sting B on Karen
(6)(2)(1)(3)(1) 0 successes, miss

Following Pyra's orders, Lumia intercepts the incredibly easy to avoid attack effortlessly.

Ember Clash
(6)(4)(3)(6)(6)
Lumia takes 1 damage 4/5 HP
Spinarak B takes 1 damage 3/4 HP

"Yes, some healing sounds like it would be good just in case we get poisoned!  Except I can't heal all of us...um...sorry Lumia, but I think you'll be fine since you have a type advantage!"

Life Dew
(6)(3)(4)(1)(1)
Karen spends 1 Will, and Pyra and Karen will both recover 1 HP at the end of the Round for the next 4 Rounds

The healing waters that begin to drip from the ceiling and through the webbing glow in pretty rainbow colors as the torchlight catches them, and the sight motivates Pyra to try her absolute hardest to defend the one responsible for that beauty.

Bulk Up 1 (Spend that Will Point!)
(6)(1)(6*)
+1 Strength and Defense for Pyra!

One Spinarak, slower than the other spiders, finally launches its barb in a futile attempt to do damage.

Poison Sting A on Lumia
(5)(3)(1)(2)(2)
(-) No damage due to Lumia's resistance!
(3)(4)(2)

Ariados chitters in annoyance, unable to smell any Poison.  However, it smells something else while looking for traces of toxins, and lunges for Pyra's bag!

Bug Bite 2
2 Dex + 3 Fight + 1 Brawl - 4 = 2
(5)(5)
(3) No damage to Pyra, but...
Ariados consumes Pyra's Apple!

After the spider knocks an Apple loose from her bag and swiftly consuming it before anyone is even able to react, Pyra Bites back in retribution!  That was her Apple!!

Bite 2 (Spend another Will Point!)
(2)(3)(6*)
(4)(3)(2)(2) Ariados takes 1 damage 5/6 HP
(1)(2)(2)

Pyra recovers 1 HP from Life Dew 5/5

Bug Maze Final, Round 2

(Whoops, forgot to roll a die for Klink in the initiative.  Let me just do that now...)

(3) + 2 = 5

(Okay, they're still last in the initiative order.  All is fine!)

L: (4)(3) 1 Success
D: N/A

Insight: (5)(3) 1 success
Smart: (5)(3)(2) 1 Success

Klink spins its gears in confirmation of those orders, confusing as they are.  It will do its best to try and fulfill them.

Flying Maze Final, Round 1

Staravia caws as it coordinates with the Starly to do a dive bomb attack on the one that seems to be in charge!  There's no more time for planning as feathers fly when the birds fly by Daxter!

Wing Attack 1
(6)(5)(3)(5) 3 successes

Klink moves to try and intercept Staravia by attempting to grab one of its wings as it flies past.  It focuses entirely on doing just that, knowing that it cannot attempt any more than that without putting itself in harm's way.

Vice Grip Clash
(5)(4)(2)(4)(2)(5) 4 successes

Klink clamps one of Staravia's wings between its two gears, wrestling with the bird and driving the both of them to the ground in a crash landing!
Klink takes 1 damage 4/5 HP
Staravia takes 1 damage 5/6 HP

The Starly keep on charging, however!

Wing Attack B
(4)(4)(5)(4)(3)
(4)(2)(2) Daxter takes 1 damage 4/5 HP

Wing Attack A
(5)(6)(1)(4)(4)
(3)(1)(1) No damage

Thanks to both good planning and a little luck, Daxter's able to attack unimpeded!

Bubble 1
(6)(4)(2)
Staravia has 2 Insight, the Starly both have 1.
(6)(2)(1)(1), (5)

Staravia takes no damage
Both Starly take 1 damage 3/4 HP
(2), (1), (4)

Kee refuses to be Intimidated!  He won't let that stop him from fighting back!  Grrrrr...

Snarl
(5)(4)(2)(5)(1)
(4)(2), (1)
Staravia takes 1 damage 4/6 HP -1 Pain
Starly B takes 1 damage 2/4 HP -2 Pain

Staravia stands up and shakes Klink off of its wing, then screeches at Daxter.  One moment, they're just standing there.  The next, they're right in front of the Charmander!

Quick Attack 2
(3) Miss

Daxter narrowly avoids that hit, having only the slightest of opportunities to try and hit back.  Staravia almost seems to stare into his soul with those eyes...

Scratch 2
(3) Miss

Even the briefest eye contact is enough to cause Daxter to hesitate just long enough for Staravia to get out of range of the simple attack before it hits.  The larger bird joins its comrades in the air above the trio once more, readying to give the command to do another dive bomb formation.

Pyra almost frowns back to Karen, her expression a mix of frustrated worry and incomprehension, but settles for averting her gaze instead. ".....Be that as it may, I treat any and all threats to you most seriously, Karen. Forgiven or forgive me not for being such and so harsh, to the Litwick and our foes, but.....but I can't stand seeing your be hurt and malaised. Makes me feel.....feel like someone is clawing at my heart-soul, when nerdowells wounds and scar you."

She lets out a small sigh and turns away towards the entrance to the next part of the maze.

".....I'll try harder, Dear Karen. To be....softer and gentle, even though I see not and nary a point to it. *Sighs* ....Do not know why you care so much, for those that deserve it so little, but that does not matter, no. Still can obey you, do as you please, regardless of my understanding."

I suppose that is that, unless Karen has something to say back?

(...)

The lil' fiendess lets out several harsh pants as she braces herself low to the ground facing Ariados, her flame burning wildly and stamina sapped from the sheer exertion of Will to combat these spiders. She also caught Litwick's somewhat pointless defense of Karen and frowns, this time not from anger but from a realization: they were terrified of her. Enough that they were willing to make stupid decisions just to appease her and not risk her wrath.

This.......doesn't make her care any more about the candlewick spirit. If anything she's more annoyed with it that it simply can't be rational or effective in battle because of its excessive Timidness. If they need constant reinforcement and super specific commands to do anything right without royally messing up, then the group would be better off without their 'help' .

Still.....Karen said to be nicer to the Litwick and try to accept it despite its numerous faults, so she will. Begrudgingly.

".....Good and Excellent job, Litwick. Keep it up, I believe you can, yes yes. If you wish, desire so, you can stop defending Karen and now roast Ariados with your Ember."

*Turns to Karen*

"Dear Karen, Confusion on Ariados if you can please. I'll try to further waylay Ariados or one of its little spiders myself."

Then without nary another word Pyra leaps forward!

Orders: Lumia is permitted to stop defending Karen if they please, and instead attack Ariados with Ember if they want to go on the offense. Karen meanwhile will try to use Confusion on Ariados, though if she has a better idea she's free to go with it. Pyra will either try to Knockdown Ariados and finish it off with a Ember, or if Lumia and/or Karen manage to KO it she'll Bite and then Ember the 3/4 HP Spinerak. If Lumia and/or Karen can on get the Ariados to 1 - 2 HP, though, she'll attempt to finish it off with Ember before going after the aforementioned Spinerak with a Bite (or Ariados if it somehow survives the Ember/the Ember misses, Bite on the Ariados again). Time to scuttle the boss Bug!

Moves

Knockdown
Accuracy: STR (*3) + Fight (3) + Brawl (1) - 2 Actions = 5D6 Base Dice
Damage: *3 - 2 = 1D6 Damage
Effect: Knocks down Target, giving it - 1 Accuracy until it gets up

Accuracy: 6D6 - 4 or 2 Actions (Depending on what happens in the next Round) = 4/2D6 Base Dice
Damage: 5D6 + 1 Base Damage
Effect: Known

Bite
Accuracy: Same as Ember in this Round
Damage: *6D6 Base Damage

Daxter throws his arms up to defend himself as the birds smack their wings against him, managing to fend off most of the hits before he shouts at his teammates. "That didn't go so well guys. We didn't do as much damage as I'd hoped we would do, and it's mostly my fault. Klink, you were great! You really saved my scaly arse! This time, just zap the twitter! I'll put all my energy into a Bubble. I don't think it's such a good idea to keep dividing my focus. Kee, you do whatever you like, but make sure to focus fire on the Staravia!"

Upon Bounsweet question, Kogeki give her a straight answer. "...More or less. You must have the desire in win Bounsweet. All three of you guys. And take this situation very serious. This might be a training maze, but in future battles you might have to face difficult enemies. And many of them might not be nice. And they sometimes can rob something precious from you. Thats why you must aim to become stronger and stronger. Thats something I aim. In be strongest of all. So that way nothing will be taking away from me."
