[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, it's a joy~ and a bliss~ for Ziggy to watch how he blew Staravia off course via his voice~ alone - that is, until the big bird chrash lands straight at him. He needs a short moment to catch himself as his head's spinning from that sensation, then starts to snap and nab at Staravia/their wings in particular: "That oughta teach ya somethin' 'bout attackin' those I care for, hnnnnnnggggh! (＃`Д´)" Can Kee try to/does he manage to snatch a feather from Staravia during that crash landing? At best a long and beautiful flight feather.

As Daxter releases that MAXIMUM-POWER Bubbles assault at the birds he JUUUUST manages to evade it, least of all he too wants to get soaked and zapped by allies in the heat of the battle.

He releases the breath he only realised he's been holding, then rolls over to lay on his side once the flock of birds is successfully dealt with. He's not particularly hurt but still starts to lick his fur. "Hehehehehe... Damn, THAT was fun! ( ÒωÓ)و☆ Good battle these birdies been givin' us, wasn't it?~ " He just continues to clean himself as he meets the scaly Charmander's gaze. "......?" *handwave of 'It is no big deal'®* "Whatcha 'pologizin' for, hm?~ Shall I be mad or hurt due to somethin' ya said...?" A melodic laughter is heard. "Naaaah, I'm nat!~☆ Everyone's the strongest in their own sense!! You, me, even kind Klink here!~ It's strategically wise to go for tha 'pparent leader if facin' a group of foes, which would be YOU in that case. Smart birds, smart birds indeed, hehehehe!"

Concerning that 'weird light thing' Dax asks about, Kee is immediately close to it and inspects it with amid curiosity: Sniffing at it, glaring at it, putting a paw of his into the circle of light. Doesn't seem to feel threathened or scared of it, but instead vividly intrigued.

It's easy enough to pick up another stray feather after the battle with the birds is over.  There's only one, but it's definitely larger than the feathers from the smaller birds.

When Kee puts a paw in the circle of light, he also feels a similar sensation to what it feels like to be teleported by the Adventure Badge.  The glow of the circle looks very similar to the badge's as well.

Karen's frowning worriedly at Pyra's response.  "Well, you obviously don't sound or feel fine, so let's get you to Poliwrath ASAP.  It's a good thing this is just training and not a life threatening scenario."

There's definitely a bit more to that statement than immediate concern for Pyra.  She doesn't elaborate further, instead looking over her shoulder at the glowing circle of light, then back at the rather imposing Devimp, trying to determine what to do.

"Can you walk on your own?  I don't think I can properly support your weight since you're much...much taller than me...I think my Life Dew should still be in effect, though, so I think that should help keep the Poison at bay at least for a little longer.  I don't see any other way out of this room, so I guess we just have to stand in the circle of light?"

During this conversation, Lumia is a respectful distance away in a darker corner of the room, waiting for some indication of what to do next.

".......I'm fine, Dear Karen, so let us not fret over this or.....whatever else troubles you about me, yes yes."

Pyra is smiling in a carefree manner, but the lil' empath can no doubt tell it's a partial act to try and appease her friend over her health and something unknown. Beneath it was a mix of worry and frustration, the former towards Karen and later at herself. She was not very wise or possess a conventional mindset, but she was no idiot - she could tell that Karen was upset over something relating to her. It's the what and why that escaped her, much to her mounting vexation and disappointment. Just as she was beginning to think she was making progress understanding her beloved friends, they always manage to reveal some quality that eludes her. Oh, when will the time be that she has a complete grasp of how her friends think, work, and believe in....?

At their question the she-demon gives them a little twirl, only stumbling slightly as she stopped in front of them with splayed arms and hands.

"Yes, indeed I can! Tired and worn out, I am, but not to the point of collapse and mobility, no! So let us go forth and stand-inspect in that glowing circle, as you have said and wished! Hopefully it will deliver out of this terrible maze, get us away from it's foul denizens, oh please yes."

The brimstone imp would beckon over the Litwick to join with them, giving them a small pat on the back for a job well done as they all get into the circle.

"Good work, Litwick, in this past Fight and throughout our trip through this maze. Though you stumbled here or there, have much yet to learn, I can see you have made great progress and growth today and will continue to do so, excelling in all aspects, yes. Be happy and proud of yourself, take a nice long break when we get out of here, and I'll get you a treat later as just reward for your efforts, okay?"

Pyra is not the least bit more affectionate towards the candlewick spirit, nor has her mind changed about them being an unnecessary part of the Team, but she can fake both and respect the efforts they have made, miniscule as they are. Being too dominating with them has proved to be a detriment, and so has trying to rigidly dictate what they do, so again she taking a new approach at handling them, one outwardly similar to Karen's own kind treatment of everyone. May it work out well, or she'll truly be at a loss of how to do anything useful with the half melted minion....

Kogeki send a sequence of attacks. Kogeki use his speed just send a punch right in the abdomen of the fruit Pokemon. He didn't even need to dodge the Strike from the Pokemon. Kogeki just stand there while the speed attack of Bonsly miserable fail.

"I suppose you didn't catch your leaders lessons. Normal and Fighting is useless against Ghosts. Good thing me and Misdreaveus defeat your leader first."

Kogeki once again use his speed just send a kick right at Bounsweet guts, sending her flying to the closest wall. "I must confess something. You three are strong, but you lack some self independence too. All that I need was to beat your Leader, and all your formation fall apart."

"Are you guys indeed ready for what the adventure had to offer? The dangers ahead? This is just training, but outside in Mystery Dungeons the cost of fall before dangerous enemies can be mean only one thing..."

"Death."

"Question is Bonsly: When the time comes...when a true dangerous and deadly foe appear before you Bonsly...will you run away? Or face death like a warrior? Before we continue our battle give me your answer."

Action: One last interaction with Bonsly and see what he have to say. Since this will be the last battle this might be a good chance in give Bonsly some advice. Then after that I will send my battle orders.

Bonsly's eyes go wide after Kogeki's comments, the weight of the words coupled with the current situation adding to the creepy factor of Kogeki's mere presence.

Bonsly begins to tear up and utters a meek sounding "Eep..." before turning right around and fleeing, leaving behind its fellow team members and a trail of tears.

Kogeki after see Bonsly run and leave it's Team mates behind he didn't say nothing. He grab Misdreaveus unconscious body and begin to carry to the exit. And did the same to Tangela and Bounsweet.

There's little need for Kogeki to start dragging anyone anywhere (fortunately for him, as he's not big and strong enough to drag three pokemon at once yet!), for as soon as the training attempt is over, various Ghost pokemon appear and ferry off the unconscious pokemon themselves.  A Mismagius personally attends to Misdreavus, spiriting them away to places unknown, while a Dusclops starts ushering Kogeki out of the maze to go see Poliwrath.

The dojomaster greets Kogeki with a simple nod upon the Riolu's return to the main entrance.  "Well done.  A little harsh on that young Bonsly, maybe, but training isn't meant to be easy.  Your payment."  He holds out a hand and drops 500 Poké into Kogeki's paw.

"Now then, I think your friends are just about done with their training.  They should appear over there in a moment."  He points to a circle etched in the floor of the room and indicates that Kogeki should take a step back from it.

When all three members of one of the trios gather in the glowing circle of light, the light glows brighter and brighter, preventing them from seeing what's beyond it.  It eventually gets too bright to look at, and everyone has to close their eyes and look away (including Kogeki, as the same phenomenon is occurring in the entrance hall, though he's viewing it from the outside.  Poliwrath, however, doesn't seem to be bothered by it).

When the light begins to fade, everyone find themselves back in the entrance hall to Poliwrath Dojo, with the dojomaster and Kogeki waiting for them.  "Welcome back.  Stand over here, out of the way."  Soon after following Poliwrath's directions, the same thing occurs with the second trio of pokemon, and the entirety of Team Omega Seekers is once again all in the same room.

"Well done, all of you.  Any items you found in the mazes and didn't consume, you are welcome to keep.  Here are your things."  Poliwrath hands back everyone's items at this time.  Klink and Lumia also hand any items they were carrying to the player characters.

When Poliwrath gives Pyra her items back, he notices she's not feeling so hot immediately.  "Hold still for a moment."  The large tadpole pokemon kneels down and pulls out the poisonous barb that had been lodged in Pyra's side with little warning (causing Pyra to involuntarily react in some manner), then hands her a Pecha Berry.  "For the poison.  And you can keep the barb if you wish.  Maybe you'll find a use for it."

With all that taken care of, the dojomaster begins to usher everyone out.  "It's getting late.  You should all go get something to eat and then some rest.  I'm sure you've got a busy day planned tomorrow."

Daxter blinks in surprise as he suddenly materialises back at the beginning. "Oh, wow. Hey, Master Poliwrath. These dungeons are no joke. That Staravia and their friends nearly totalled me. Any idea where I can meet up with them? Just to make sure there are no hard feelings. I kinda ran my mouth after the battle, and I might need to apologise. We're new in town, and it's a stupid idea to make enemies so fast. We already pissed off another team. That jackass Solosis and his weird lizard lion friend. And their pet Golett."

[Spiritmon]

Kogeki shruge. "Maybe. But one way or another we must face difficulties battle. This is something I had to learn today in the hard way. Thanks for today training Sensei."

Kogeki wait for the others to come and then go in their direction. He also looks at Pyra barb in her side "Heya. It seems you all had some good reward in your battles too. Me too. Had my defeat, but also victories. But we can talk after we eat something. How the training of you all go?"

When Kogeki see Poliwrath give everyone the items back, Kogeki timid ask Pyra. ''So...do you still need my scarf? I kinda asking that since you didnt get the chance to use in the maze...Sorry about that."

"Anyway people. Ready to go? I got some payment after helping in the Ghost maze in beat some members of the Guild. I sharp my ninja skills a little today. And scary to hell a Bonsly too."
