[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
"Maybe it is some kind of trap? The type where you destroy and let your enemies die by crashed in rocks or without oxygen? Wouldnt be surprise if Machamp have a few traps to killed or weak us along the way. Its the kind of deception I would problably make if enemies would try go after me."

(Metawise, that's not the direction I wanted to go. Aimed for the tile directly left of the current one - or is that not possible? Or did I not make the arrow I added in the embedded image clear enough? It confuses me... BUT regardless of anything, the other way diagonally down is fine too, no need to recton anything or so. )

Ziggy Kee STAAAARES at these woooden supports upon Marcus pointing them out as odd, but his curiosity quickly shifts to that pile of rocks, rubble and dirt from that small cave in. He approaches it, sniffs at it, claws a bit at it, and then begins to dig in the pile to see if there's anything of interest hidden or buried within in.

He pauses fot short to throw a stern glance at Kogeki , snarling at him "Can ya please NAT speak 'bout killin' yar enemies? Machamp isn't... a monster. K? Good, thanks." He huffs a little, then focuses on the rubble again. "Help me searchin' this pile 'nstead, would ya?" (This goes for anyone, any help with digging in that pile is appreciated.)

Kogeki interject Kee in that moment to explain why he said those words. "I think I didnt explain my words very well. If I was like Machamp, and have enemies going after my tail, I would problably leave some traps behind to either crush or kill enemies. I trying to think what our enemy would think and try to see what way we should avoid possible danger ahead. Thats is that."

"Very well. I help ya. Give me a second. But be careful to some tripwire or something who looks like some sort of trigger for a trap. Better be ready than sorry."

Action: Help Kee with his search.

The lil' demoness quietly followed after Kee's lead, continuing to keep to herself as she pondered how things have gotten so 'out of hand' with her group and how to fix it (or stem the damage/conflict, at the very least). Occasionally she'd shoot Marcus some pensive looks, often followed up with a small frown before she drifted back into self-reflection, while Hoopa's antics and devilish carefree charm did eek out a few smiles and giggles. but otherwise she kept well and truly to herself. Not a bad thing, per say, but it was a jarring contrast to her usual sunny and personable disposition.

Once they arrived at the Woodwork Intersection Pyra started to pay more active attention to the group and her surroundings, looking this way and that with a quiet air of curiosity. The patch of sunlight caused her to brighten up immediately, and she wasted no time scurrying over to bask in it as the group talk about this or that. The restrained djin's comment towards Marcus' skepticism caught her ear and earned him a smiling nod, as she was far more inclined to agree with them than the bones craftsmon.

Kogeki's insight and the black 'n white crittercoon's rather harsh rebuttal got her undivided attention in most unpleasant way, causing her to look over at the two with a blank look that quickly turned into one of disgruntled indignation. Her friends were starting to get into a spat over something that minor, of all things? After all the recent conflicts they've had with her over (what seem to her, judging by everyone vivid reactions) much worse topics/matters, and the poisonous lesson that Marcus (unwittingly or not) inflicted on everyone? She would not stand for it, oh no no no.

With bracing immediacy the brimstone imp stomp over and interposed herself between her two friends, giving them both a gimlet stare as she ground out her take on the matter.

"Enough."

Turning towards Kee, her stare turned unimpressed and displeased. "Much as you dislike it, disagree with what he has said, Kogeki brought up a good and wise point, yes. If Mightless Conkeldurr could make a Trap to waylay and harm to would be thieves of his plunder, why can't another Pokemon do the same or worse as him, especially one so wicked and dangerous as Machamp, if we choose to believe what they claim? As for the matter-idea of....dealing with our enemies and foes so permanent and in finality a way, you can find and voice other ways of disagreement, of dissent, that are not so rude, hostile, and unfriendly, I believe-think. Much less and far from picking a fight over it in such times and situations like now and make it more-all pointless for it, indeed. Finally, thusly for now, you're our Leader presently, Kee. Part of that trusted task, regiven responsibility, is to command-guide-discuss wisely and fairly. Do that, be that, not this."

She then directed her gaze at the phantom brave, now tinged with disappointment and chastisement. "Though what you have said and convey has some merit, worthy of value and due consideration, how you said, when you said it, is not, no. Find.....better ways, nicer moments to say-bring up such and similar ideas to us-others, or not speak so plainly and bluntly without qualifiers or asking for their patience and calmness first. Why? Because.....what you say, do, and say-to-do......it.....it Reflects on you...."

That remark of her brings her up short briefly, a look of revelation followed with saddened resentment and nearly bitter disappointment passed over her, making her look even more dour, before she frowned once more and continued to berate Kogeki.

"Yes....your given actions-thoughts Reflects on you, shows you in a certain way, whether that is your prime intent or a unfortunate outcome. Take more care and be careful with that and more, Kogeki. Least you make nasty messes, create dire situations, sow chaos and discord between you and us-others, out of Willful or know-not care-recklessness......like me."

Pyra looked at both her friends, an authoritative air now about her.

"Understand?"

Regardless of the outcome, the fiery demoness ultimately chooses not to help Kee or Kogeki out with anything presently and goes back to sunning herself, as she feels that is a fitting punishment for the two acting like nitwits. When it comes time to move on she'll follow the punk star's lead without complaint, however. He's still the Leader of the group, after all, even if he could do a better job at it.

Oh... Being scolded like that by the firely demoness causes Ziggy Kee to stop in digging in the pile, hand his head a little, drop his fuzzy ears and turn all meek and tiny. Yet however he can't help but to huff-sigh a bit, but from the tone of his voice he means it/is honest in his apology. "Sorreh for tha trouble, Pyra-dear... Sorreh 'f I snapped at ya, K'geki."

Another huff-sigh, then Kee scratches himself behind the yellow-tipped ear with a paw to overplay some nervosity. "Ya're right, ya're right, other Pokemon can do tha same or w-worse, whatever. That's nat my issue... Am just, well, kinda sensitive towards tha topic of death, killin' fellow Pokemon or takin' another's life, 'ncluding yar own. Somethin' 'bout it makes me 'specially uncomfortable, ya see... It stirs up somethin' within me." He places his right paw on his beating heart. "Can't 'xplain nor do I fully 'nderstand it, but I suspect it havin' t'do with my former human self, ya know... Past experiences? Foggy memories? Dunno." He shrugs, feeling a little lost. "Can't promise me nat acting sensitive or overreactive 'bout that topic, really nat, pwease forgive me for that, k? Best thing I can do is keeping mahself in check t'nat let mah emotions get tha better or me. THAT'S what I gonna do. What YA can do is t'please nat take it personally shall I struggl' or fail t'do so... K? Sounds good? Am kinda sorreh there Pyra, t'wards ya too K'geki, hopin' that ya now 'nderstand." To emphasize that, he gives the deltadoggo a gentle headbutt and the demoness a timid eskimo-kiss.

Kogeki at first looked a bit angry at Pyra words...He clench his first at first. But...he remember to calmdown to listen and digest every word about what Pyra said.

They might need to face a difficult battle ahead and might meet some nasty traps...but perhaps he should have point his words in a more nice way or at least in a better way. Pyra have a point. As also Kee.

Kogeki than do something. He grab his kunai and put in front of him. And then he kneel. "No...I should be the one to apologize Kee...And I also should apologize you Pyra. I...dont remember much of my old life...But I have a feeling I remember: To become the stronger. Enough to not loose anything. Strong enough to not let pain or anything else be taken away from me...I...Dont really know why I have this...feeling of need of power...But...I dont want to loose anything again. And not loose to anyone...And I know how much the world can be cruel. And there always people willing to take away what you care most."

"You people...you people is what I have the most close thing to...friends. And I know there is lots of people, or pokemon, who dont valuable life and will be willing to kill any of you. Thats why I sometimes so willing...end lifes. I...just dont want to loose anything...Loose any of you..."

Every words Kogeki carry honesty. And such words...are such a rare display of genuine honest and weakness...He might with them just for a days, but some of the team mates Kogeki make a bond in their human lifes. Even if Kogeki dont remember their previous lifes, or from where it came that feeling of become stronger or to not loose anything.

Kee words and the gentle headbutt was enough to make Kogeki see Kee with other eyes. He open his eyes and look at him...and to finally say some words.
"You forgiven Kee...I hope you also understand my position too. But...I promise to...try be a better person. I can't promise I will not seek strengh. But I promise to not end lifes...only if everything else fails. You have my word."

Kogeki offer his paw for a handshake (or should I say pawshake?) as a way to apologize and make peace with his companion. "Until we find our other companions, we only have each others companionship. I lend my weapon and ninja skills to you. Can you lend me your strengh and claws Kee?"

"Now...lets search this place for what you want to find. We have some Pokemon to rescue. And a Primal Machamp to defeat."

Aww, Kogeki gets another compassionate headbutt for his words and honesty. Something about his words, about what he's saying and trying to convey, just cannot make Ziggy Kee be mad. "All's fine, all's well there, K'geki, haha... (^v^; ) Nothin' really wrong with seeking, uh, 'power' as you put it. Ya've got a good heart, what'd do ya well would be a lil' more mindful 'bout what ya say. K?~" He accepts the handpawshake with a claw of his.

Still, that stirred-up and uncomfortable emotion within Kee remains, he hangs his fuzzy ears a little and lowers his head. "Yeah, me too DON'T wanna l-loose any of ya..." Seems like this intention is similar - if not the same - for the deltadoggo and furry crittercoon, if simply manifests/shows itself in different ways. "Am just...too glad t'nat be 'lone in this, hehe. *genuine smile*"

Kee’s first round of apologies did little to ease the mixture of ire and disappointment she felt, but his following acceptance and explanation caused her to gradually ease up a bit. His lack of understanding about his feelings in particular resonated with her, causing the imp to cock her head at him in curiosity and empathy. By the end of the smol coon’s speech…well, Pyra was not pleased , per say, but, as she heaved out a *sigh* and reached down to return his affections with a tussle of his head her, she felt ‘ better ‘ about things.

“…Oh very well, as you wish, my dear Kee. Just remember my bold words, your own meek confessions, and be-act as a great Leader like you can be. Though it may be, if I may honor your request, then you in turn must do as you ask us to. Should we stray ‘wrongly’ in your eyes, do things, cause things, say things, any thing that you find wanting and wanton, don’t take it personally, to heart. Let yourself- let us be understanding and accepting of each other in all and our entirety, as much as we can. If you feel you have to disagree, refrain and avoid doing it so harshly, and help find a way for us to get along once more. Is that fair and good, Punk Star Kee?”

Still didn’t want to help him out, however. Forgiven did not equate to a lack of punishment, no matter how earnest and sincere the one is at fault in repentance.

Quote:

Kogeki’s solemn words, meanwhile, were meet with a imperious, Steely look that would be the envy of a Vespiqueen, before she gave him a slow nod back, appearing…..sastisfied, if still in a MOOD.

“…Good. Very good. Remember that, in all, Kogeki. Our friendship, our friends, ARE the most important to us all, beyond our Quest and own goals. Nothing is worth tarnishing and damaging those bonds, so take great care to keep them whole and pure. Strength is important, but…not if it costs you everything you wish to use it, on and for.”

His subsequent vow of mercy to Kee earns him a frown, as not only did she think it was a rather unreasonable one (regardless of circumstances), but it also invalidate his earlier commitment to helping her. The fiery demoness doesn’t say anything about this for now, however, as she didn’t want to spoil the moment or start another argument among everyone. Later, though……

Kogeki before he began to search around with Kee whisper some words in Pyra ear. "Don't think I forget my commitment with you. We will talk later." Kogeki whisper that last word and put a hand in her shoulder once.

Kogeki then begin to search the place with Kee.

Kee's Alert: (6)(2)(2)
Kogeki's Alert: (6)(2)(2)

Kee and Kogeki start digging through the rubble of the collapsed ceiling.  After a few minutes of digging through the pile of dirt, rock, and splinters, they manage to find 2 Geo Pebbles (same as Gravelerocks, but only 1d6 of damage instead of 2d6).

Hoopa doesn't help with the digging, but it very much is listening in on the conversation.

"Heheheheheeheehee.  Daaaawww, look at you all being all chummy.  It almost brings a tear to my eye.  Reminds me of the good ol' days, before everyone was turned to stone.  Hehehehehee...wait, hold up a second.  Did I just hear you say you were human, Kee?"

Karen gasps slightly, followed by quickly covering her mouth with her hand to mask the sound of her surprise, though the genie doesn't seem to notice, as focused as they are on the Zigzagoon.  Marcus blinks a few times in surprise himself, but doesn't say anything as Hoopa begins to circle around Kee, eying the critter curiously from various angles with a hand on its chin in thought.

"Hmmmm...definitely looks like a Zigzagoon...but then again, you don't look like any Zigzagoon I've ever seen...definitely possible...well, more than possible, even.  I wonder...if you're human, how did you become a pokemon?  Hmmmm..."

*rolls*

Kee feels something poke him from the side opposite to where Hoopa is, and just manages to catch one of Hoopa's arms disappearing back into one of the mythical's ring portal things immediately afterwards.

"Very, very strange...but you know, if you really are human, then maybe that's why you're able to see the bottle and hear me while I'm inside it...yes, I think that explains that perfectly!  So if you're human, then that would mean..."

Hoopa turns to face the rest of the party, a big, mischievous grin on his face.

"...then so are the rest of you!  Heheheheheehee!"

"Uh...I'm not human, Hoopa."

"Oh.  Well, you don't all have to be human.  Just so long as there's at least one human among you, everyone should be able to see my bottle!  At least, that's how I think that works...not the first time that a non-human would have been able to see my bottle in the presence of a human-turned-pokemon, after all!  Hehehehe!"

Hoopa turns to look at Daxter and Karen specifically.

"And I know at least one of you are almost certainly human since you're the ones who found my bottle!  Oh, but don't worry.  You're secret's safe with me.  I know what most of Sahra Town thinks of humans, after all."  Hoopa winks.

"Um...thanks I guess?"

"You're very welcome!  Hehehehee!  Now then, are we done with playing in the dirt?  Like our strange doggy friend said, we've got some baddies to defeat!  And I'm itching to get into a good fight after being cooped up for so long!"
