OOC : Platina doesn’t have much she wants to do preparations wise, since she already has her own stuff and figures the rest of the group already has things well in hand for exploration (ie: Any Items the rest of the group has in storage or on hand are to be used and taken as seen fit by them!) . About the only thing she wants to do is thank the sheriff and the two children that ‘saved’ her , but that can always wait until later, so as to not delay the start of the next big ADVENTURE! If she is hungry, though, then she would be happy to get lunch with Kogeki !

At Cafe Connection, Kee will order the most filling dish with Berries that he can have for 200$P (I've distracted that amount from his money). "Big plans t'day, so please dontcha be spare with the protion!" If possible, he'll pack in a small amount of it to eat at a laster time today. After ordering and while waiting for the food being made and served, Kee will scroll and read through his diary - or rather, pretend to do so, as he's actually listening in on what the Pokemon at the other tables are talking about, chances are he'll pick up anything of interest. Or not, but it's somewhat hard to ignore them with the in-species curiosity of his!

At some point (can be any time, before eating or after eating, doesn't matter to me) he'll also approach Kangaskan with a gentle smile and his stance STILL giving off an easily-noticable proud vibe. "Good mornin' there, Kanga!~", he greets her, "Can I please entrust ya with some more pr'cious items of mine?~ I'll also need some things from mah storage, can't come in unprepared on an important mission!!"

As Kee hands over that pink glowing crystal to Kanga, he takes a moment to admire it. "Have ya ever seen somethin' like that, Kanga? Look how it glows in an odd pink light...! Got it deep down a mine. Wonder what...it's made of or for what it can be used!"

If you're waiting on what Platina wants to do in the Cafe, I suppose she'd order some food for $200 Poke too, as I don't recall the menu and IC she'd be too proud to ask for it and just follow Kee's lead to appear like she knows it all. Furthermore, she'd give the place a quick look around to see if she spots any interesting Pokemon to focus on while she eats, particularly any Steel types like herself. If any locals appear to be interested in her unique appearance, she'd puff up in pleasure and try her best to amplify her nature Beauty to dazzle them, as she is likes that sort of attention and doesn't mind putting on a show if the mood strikes her!

Wait, now that I think about it, could she find a Male Pokemon (A Bird one, preferably) in the Cafe and attempt to use her Beauty and Allure to tell her about the Cafe, Town, and buy her a meal before she dips into her own funds? She's not above such tactics if it suits her needs, though she doesn't necessarily want to make a bad habit out of it - her parents taught her better, but at the same time she hardly has a lot of Poke to her name right now, so if she can scrimp and save with a little charm on her part....

The Shiny Bird would also be interested in the pink crystal Kee pulled out, cocking her at it with naked curiosity as she studied it herself. Strange.....almost reminds her of some of the lights her people had back at home....

As Team OS leaves the Guild and heads to Café Connection, it's quite obvious that the crowd that was at the front door has dispersed.  Sheriff Flygon is patrolling the paths in front of the guild for safety reasons, but other than that, everyone seems to have gone about their normal business for the day.

There's a lot of gossip going around the café this morning.  Much of it seems to be focused on the strange new pokemon that was found on the beach, but Kee also overhears a conversation between a Bronzor and Gothorita.

"Hey, did you see any of those strange gadgets the guild's members were holding in the plaza?"

"No, I haven't.  Why is this important?"

"I mean, they're the exact same shape as me!  Isn't that strange?"

"I'm sure it's just a coincidence.  Now, are you going to order something or not?"

The proprietor seems to be in a rather chatty mood this morning herself, so she responds with a question.  "Of course I'll store and retrieve your stuff, dearie.  That's an awful lot of supplies, though.  I don't mean to pry, but you wouldn't happen to be planning a longer trip than usual would you?"

Kangaskhan seems to be rather amazed by the crystal when Kee pulls that out!  "Oh my goodness, isn't that a pretty thing!  That's not something you see every day!  You better take good care of that, dearie.  Wouldn't want that to get lost or broken.  Maybe Marcus might be able to do something with it, though?  It looks like the kind of thing that'd be right up his alley."

The food in Café Connection is primarily based around using fruits and vegetables as ingredients, served at room temperature and excellently seasoned when applicable.  There's no specific menu, but there's a range of prices, and spending more usually means you get a more filling meal.  Most of the meals are fairly affordable at 50-100 Poké, so a 200 Poké purchase would normally be enough food to fill 2-4 pokemon for the duration of at least 1 mystery dungeon.

There doesn't seem to be very many bird pokemon around, but Platina does see a female Sandslash and a female Hippowdon sitting at one of the nearby tables.

"I'm so proud of our kids, going right to the sheriff like that!"

"Me too, Sandslash.  Hey, do you think the pokemon they found is going to be okay?"

"Oh, I sure hope so.  I'm sure they're in good hands with the guild, though.  Audino is such a wonderful doctor.  I do wonder what kind of pokemon our kids found, however.  Hopefully they don't turn out to be some kind of ruffian."

The Maractus serving as a waiter at the establishment wobbles over, two plates of food precariously balanced on its arms right up until they seem to slide off of his arms and onto the table.  "Heeeeeere you go, madams!  One Rindo Berry mix for Sandslash, and two Passho Berry tosses for Hippowdon!  Enjoy!"

"Thank you Maractus!  You have a lovely day now!"

"Just doing my job!"

Maractus makes his way to the back rooms, and Sandslash and Hippowdon continue chatting with each other as per usual.

The locals don't seem to have taken much notice of Platina yet, but that could change very quickly.

Alternatively, doing so with two plates the food is served in. If asked what he's doing with the plates/why he takes them along, he'll promise by his pride and honour to return them!

If any of these actions require a roll, that's totally fine to me. If none of these actions are doable or they fall, then Kee will just eat up EVERYTHING what he was served, regardless whether he'll end up overstuffed or not: He's got an important trip ahead, can't really afford becoming hungry in the middle of it. Or at least, becoming hungry all too soon.

Hehe, being called 'dearie' flatters the smol crittercoon~ When Kanga mentions 'longer trip', Kee cannot help but to display an almost overflowing amount of pride and a big wide toothy smile!!1 "Well there, my dear Kanga...~", he tells in a singsang voice, "We of Team OS have been assigned a very 'mportant mission by the very Guildmaster 'emselves, wouldn't ya b'lieve that!! Can't disappoint 'em if she's puttin' some faith in us, holding us for capable 'nough to handle it...." From the way Kee emphasizes these words, it's obvious how it means a lot to him. "Don't know how long I'll be away of this town an' nice Cafe, so better prepare well 'nough...." All quietly, he adds "Am gonna miss ya and this place for sure, Kanga."

Kee can't agree more over letting Marcus see that nice crystal! "Good idea 'ndeed, will do so! Please hold onto it and keep it stored safely 'ntil then, will ya?~"

The berries that Karen had bought for Team NW are as follows:

Daxter had many thoughts about the missing team. As far as he knew, Rhyperior, Gallade and Roserade were all impressively powerful species of Pokemon so the fact that they had seemingly gone missing mystified him. If the three of them failed to overcome some obstacle, what chance did he and his team have? Why were they picked? There were surely other teams better equipped to handle something that could be as potentially dangerous as this and yet the guildmaster seemed to be fairly insistent on them being the one of the teams sent out to look for them. Did she know something that he didn't? Did she use that weird psychic power to divine some purpose the universe had for him? And then there was the case of the missing daughter...

Did Braixen go along with that other team or was she daft enough to try and brave the world on her own? Either way, Daxter very much desired for his team to be the ones to find her. Friends in high places could only be a good thing and if he and his team could win the approval of the guildmaster, they'd win themselves a lot of influence.  That, and he wouldn't mind getting to know the guildmaster's daughter a little better. He was definitely curious about her. She had her whole life on a silver platter and she still wanted to make more of it? Not such a spoiled brat, it seems.

And Team Artificers had him grinding his teeth as usual. One day...

The weird shiny bird was interesting enough, he supposed. Seemed respectable. He wouldn't have minded them joining his team but he wasn't too bothered by their choice to join Kee and Kogeki's team.

After Kee finishes speaking with the Arcanine, Daxter tilts his head in thought. He turns to the excitable Ampharos. "Sorry, mate. I'm gonna have to leave you for a couple of minutes. I've wanted to ask that Arcanine something since I first got here. Be right back."

Once he walks over to the enormous canine Pokemon, Daxter pokes his paw to get his attention. "Uh, hey there, mate. Don't think we've had a chance to meet just yet. I'm Daxter. Leader of the Night Wardens. I was just hoping to ask you a question, if you've got the time. I've got a friend who looks a lot like you, but he's a lot smaller than you. Also, he's very blue. Lighter coloured than I am, and his breath mists when he breathes. But honestly, the splitting image of you, mate. You ever seen anyone like that? You seem to be pretty well traveled. He's my best friend and I'm getting a little desperate. I've got no idea where he is."

After Delphox goes off to meet with the weird barnacle and the slicey dicey grass Pokemon, he turns to Ampharos. "Right then, mate. I'll go and pick my team and some supplies up. We'll meet you at the Lapras Liner in a bit."

Daxter then makes his way to Café Connection to meet up with the rest of his team. He finds them at the team's usual table, and sits down heavily before waving at Gothorita to get her attention. "Morning, love. Just one of those berry salads for me if that's alright."

He then turns to the rest of his team. "Well, I just came back from a very interesting meeting at the guild. You can probably tell. The whole town's going apricorns over something or the order. Apparently, some of the kids found a weird unconscious shiny bird Pokemon this morning. Uh... Shiny as in literally glinting, as far as I can tell. Not shiny like you, Karen. I met them, and they joined up with Kee and Kogeki to help look for the big dudes. Oh, right. You don't know about that either. Turns out the team with that massive Rhyperior bloke went missing some time back.  On top of that, apparently the guildmaster's daughter's gone missing too. She's been calling in all sorts of favours to try and find them. Called guilds from other continents, even. She selected a bunch of teams to work with these other guys, and for some reason, we're one of them. I even found some mons for us to work with. We'll meet up with them at the Lapras Liner after we finish up here.

First off, I've got something for you, Rolycoly. This TM will teach you Rock Tomb. Useful move, if it does what I think it does, so maybe you can learn it. Secondly, I was thinking that I would take both Snom and Rowlet for this mission. Unless you want to come with us, Karen. I doubt Rolycoly would want to come because we're going all the way to the Water Continent. That place is probably a literal death trap for him. Rowlet can stay behind if you want to come with, but I'd prefer you stay here so that you can help out any mons we recruit and teleport back to the guild. Ease their way in, so to speak. If you'd rather come with, maybe Rowlet can stay behind with Rolycoly. They'd make a good pair. Either way, whoever's coming with, make your way to the Lapras Liner and wait for me there. I'm just gonna pick some things up. Maybe you can get yourselves acquainted with Ampharos and Mawile in the meanwhile."

Daxter finishes up his breakfast before getting up and making his way towards Kangaskhan. "Hey there, Kangaskhan. I was hoping to pick some things up from storage. Actually, I was hoping to pick all of them up, if that's okay."

Daxter returns to the table, and puts the scarf down in front of Rowlet. "I've got no idea what the Water Continent is like, but I know Grass types don't like cold so I thought you could maybe put that scarf on. It's not much, but it could help."

Firstly, Daxter approaches the Kecleon Brothers' stall. "Morning. I was just hoping to check out what you two have for sale today. Anything interesting?"

Secondly, Daxter makes his way towards Glorious Gold. "How've you been, mate? Been a couple of days. Listen, my team and I picked up these two gold bars. I was hoping I could find out what I can get for them."

Finally, Daxter makes his way towards the Duskull Bank. He deposits all of his money save $1000 just in case he runs into another Kecleon stall in the Water Continent.

Daxter then arrives at the Lapras Liner. He fingers the Looplet in his backpack, unsure of what to do with it. This looplet very likely belonged to Ampharos, but he wasn't quite sure what to make of him just yet. It would be a good idea to have it on him for now, however. "Well then. I'm ready to get going when you are. This is my team. Let's see if we can find this lost team then, shall we? And hopefully Braixen too."

Kee can absolutely try to do something like that, though it'll put an Apple at risk of being unusable and the materials themselves aren't necessarily the easiest things to use for a task like this.

Kee manages to find some very sticky berries in the food, and is able to use the juices to 'glue' the plates onto the hollowed out apple.  He thinks this'll help keep one serving of food fresh for a little longer, but the container itself won't last forever as is, being made out of an Apple and held together by sticky berry juice. -1 Apple, +1 Apple based food storage.

"I'll keep your crystal safe for ya, don't you worry.  And if you ever need to pick up or store any more supplies, make sure to give one of our other locations a visit."  Kangaskhan winks.

Finally, Daxter makes his way towards the Duskull Bank. He deposits all of his money save $1000 just in case he runs into another Kecleon stall in the Water Continent.

Daxter then arrives at the Lapras Liner. He fingers the Looplet in his backpack, unsure of what to do with it. This looplet very likely belonged to Ampharos, but he wasn't quite sure what to make of him just yet. It would be a good idea to have it on him for now, however. "Well then. I'm ready to get going when you are. This is my team. Let's see if we can find this lost team then, shall we? And hopefully Braixen too."

Arcanine is surprised by Daxter addressing him at first.  "Oh?  Ah, Team Night Wardens.  What can Team Stripes do for you?  Someone who looks a lot like me, but not?  Hmmmm...no, I can't say I have run across anyone like that.  I'll keep an eye out, though.  If I see or hear about anyone that fits that description, I'll let you know."

Ampharos nods in affirmation of Daxter's plan to meet up later.  "Righto, then.  Off we go, Mawile!  To the docks!"

Ampharos turns to leave, but ends up walking down one of the tunnels that leads deeper into the guild instead of the stairs leading up and out.  Mawile sighs and shrugs.  "As directionless as always...we'll meet you at the Travel Liner.  Eventually."  She then begins running after the Dashing Wanderer in an attempt to catch up to him and correct his course.

Gothorita takes Team Night Warden's orders promptly and wanders to the back room to go get everything ready for them while the team discusses what to do about the upcoming mission.

Karen seems to be fine with staying behind.  "Honestly, I could use a break.  That mission from a week ago...that was rough.  In more ways than one...so I don't mind staying behind and helping out here.  Jobs are probably going to be easier anyways since there's so many teams still at the Guild."

Snom seems eager to explore somewhere else besides the Sand Continent, while Rowlet just silently nods in agreement.  Rolycoly has no objection to staying on the Sand Continent either, nor to learning Rock Tomb.  Sounds like the team has a plan!  Snom and Rowlet will be accompanying Daxter to the Water Continent.

Kee manages to find some very sticky berries in the food, and is able to use the juices to 'glue' the plates onto the hollowed out apple.  He thinks this'll help keep one serving of food fresh for a little longer, but the container itself won't last forever as is, being made out of an Apple and held together by sticky berry juice. -1 Apple, +1 Apple based food storage. ...HAH, that worked like magic!~ Kee carefully packs the impromptu lunch box away into his guitar bag, proud of himself for succeeding on what he aimed to do. He's definitely aware that this won't last for very long, but that's totally fine since he intends to eat it up sometime today. Chances are they won't be able to return to the Guild for today to grab dinner since they'll be off with Espeon and Umbreon, so he better be prepared!!

Kangaskhan listens attentively.  "Well, don't you worry about not being able to enjoy the company and food, dearie.  This is far from the only Café Connection in the world.  We're actually part of a small franchise, believe it or not.  It's likely you'll run into another of our establishments somewhere."

"I'll keep your crystal safe for ya, don't you worry.  And if you ever need to pick up or store any more supplies, make sure to give one of our other locations a visit."  Kangaskhan winks.

And Kee winks back! (･ω<)~☆ "Huh, so there are other cafes like this neat one on other c'tinents likely? That.... THAT'S AAAAWESOME !! Will definit'ly pay 'em a visit if I've got tha chance!!1" He humms a little and wags his bushy tail, obviously displaying joy and eager of that thought.

That's all for what Kee aimed to do here at Café Connection, can't speak for Kogeki or Platina. The next thing he wishes to visit is the "Kecleon Shop! He greets the two brothers with an energetic salute and jolly expression. "Good mornin', ya two! It's me again, checkin' up on what fine goodies ya're selling t'day... Got an important mission ahead that I CAN'T an' WON'T fail, so ya better don't disappoint me with yar supply on sale t'day!~"

Are the goods they are selling the same one like those presented to Daxter when he visits the shop, or is it different? I'd outta-chara guess it's the same, but Kee in-chara wouldn't know if it is or not.
