Cold shivering go though Oz heart and spine. The most pure feeling she is right now: Fear. Fear before the absolute power her. Not the show of cool power like Iron Leaves.

No. This one different. This Primal fear, the one fear who paralyze you, almost make you unable to move. This woman...spell danger, and Oz knows very well Morgana could easily crush her with a snap of her fingers.

That's why she takes seconds to understand the hisses she hear was not her head, but Fortuna hissing at Morgana, she reads to fight.

No. She can't let anyone die again...not after...

"FORTUNA! CALM DOWN!" Oz heart hurt to much in speak to Fortuna like that...But Oz is filled with fear. She look at her partner with pleading eyes, asking, nay, begging Fortuna to calm down. They exchange a look, due to the story they share.

And hopefully Fortuna will understand why Oz fear so much Morgana.

All the fear, and despite she not remembering that day, she knows one thing. Morgana was there...and if she is not careful...

Morgana will kill her.

Oz then try to do the only thing she can do: She returns Fortuna to her PokeBall, and trying to hold the desire to cower herself and cry, she kneel, trying to at least to not get killed.

Trying to hide the trembling in her voice (and probably failing) she try to spoke. "Y-You honor us with your presence Morgana Belladona Zackaria of the Free Magi." She bow her head, almost shouting within herself to not get killed.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

Even though he doesn't know who the lady is, there is something in Darren that has alarms going in his head. "Ma'am." There is a tone of respect in his voice that is rather unlike him. It could have to do with how everyone else is reacting that he decides discretion is the better part of valor here.

Fortuna doesn't go in her Ball without a brief fight - she did not want to leave you alone with her - but her Loyalty to you was enough to most grudgingly follow your command. She would be out at the first flicker of danger, though, along with her fellow sisters...

"Oh?"

Morgana floats over to you, her steps light as air and dainty as the breeze, seemingly flickering in and out of existence.

Gently, oh so gently, she reaches down to cup your face with one hand, guiding you up to look directly, eye to eye.

"What a familiar presence. And such deference and respect too, my my! Dear, oh daer....have we, per-chance, meet once before?"

Her tone was questioning. Teasing. Oh so welcoming and friendly.

"...Perhaps, perhaps not. Who can say, but you? Mmm hmm hmm~ Regardless, oh too, I must say: excellent manners you have, young lass."

Morgana lets you go with a titter, patting your head as she did so, as if you were some precious Lilipup that did something adorable and worthy or recognition.

For the moment, you have been spared.

Spared, or left for later.

Morgana glances  your way, those eyes of hers boring right into you...

Until your Mentor firmly interposes himself between you and her, giving that woman a Death Glare.

"...Mmm hmm hmm, how valiant yet deferentially bold, oh ho!"

Her focus then drifts away, leaving you feeling as if you were saved from a personal experience like poor Oz had.

Oh heavens, oh dear, by and all mages and Mythics, the very moment Aburpt Silence washed over the scene that lingering feeling of there having been SOMETHING they were missing intensifies and comes back to bite Bernhard in any way imaginable and beyond. He...was unable to put a finger on what exactly it has been - until, well, cold sweat and a mild surge of panic rushed over the otherwise oh-so-cold-and-stoic Scimitar, as they glanced around in direction the Mist came from. And that, all people who are present right now, means NOTHING good for sure, oh noes. Oh heavens, oh damn, oh f#ck, no no no NO, please DON'T...

In an instant act and trying to remain a cool head (which, by all means, was waaay easier said than done!) but with a pounding heart, Bernhard locked Zephy's Premier Ball shut, really not being up for any trouble induced by the artsy birdmouse now of all times. Not...like that ONE time happened previously. "I'm sorry... I'll explain and make up to you later, promise, Zephy -"but I have to do this just now to...avoid a fate most foul for you AND for me..." An instant negative or pouting reaction from Zephy is ignored and accepted, as this being by far the lesser evil.

...Oh noes. Indeed, that voice can only come from ONE PERSON of all people or 'people', and one that Bern is certainly NOT up to see now - frankly, he's not sure whether there ever IS a time he's up to see her, aside from Council Meetings where it's all business and politics. But one thing's for absolute certain, IF there is, he won't openly admit ever. And another thing that's for certain is that Bernhard cannot and will not risk her causing harm to people who aren't at fault or deserve it (Frankly though, he feels NO ONE deserved to have their mind messed up by her.)

Letting an impercible but long and suffering sigh, Bernhard KNEW what to do. If all, he prays to any Legend and mythic that THIS will do. Whether he may make a fool of himself or not or how the others may react is unimportant. He can explain.

...And so, Bern takes/floats a bold step forward, in direction of the Lady of Fae, slowly but firmly, gives her a respectful bow and greeting appropriate to a potential(?) suitor(!?), carefully takes one of her pearly hands in his and places a silky soft kiss on its back. (Kinda like in this gif) "Do forgive the fool that is me for having let you wait, m'lady. It is...due to circumstances outside of my control that have led to this, circumstances I am open to lay down to you with a cup of your pleasant tea." Bern shivers a little at the 'pleasant', "Let us make haste and leave, for I am done here", he throws a side glance at the others at the scene, "and was just on the way to the islands either way. I owe you apologies, my ever so whimsical Lady of Fae, and also hope that you accept one of these *presents* flowers in a whimsical fuchsia glow as an instant manner of making up."

Action: Try, by all means TRY to sugarcoat and butter her up to - by all what's holy and valuable - NOT have her lash out on him or the others (or worse); by playing along with the connection he has with her and lowkey offering amends to the Lady of Fae, asking to leave it be, leave these people alone and him to tagg along with her instead, all while being as polite and careful as Bernhard can only be. Also if needed and as a bonus, one of the previously mentioned Soubaly Flowers are gifted to her too.

Being forced to bow down by a presence not unlike *hers* in power he takes it in stride, extending the bow for a while longer while contemplating. He didn't know who they were but the mysterious woman was not to be messed with, that much was clear.

Standing back up his focus shifted to Lani, for he was scared that she would do something reckless, holding her back.

He had a feeling even *she* couldn't save him if things would go wrong, and he wouldn't want to see if that was true.

"All I have right now is general details, but if you're up for helpin' us out, I'm more than happy to share what I can.  The Professor and I might have more specific requests later, depending on how our research is goin'."

"The big things we're studying are the region's more dangerous fauna, especially the ones that are completely unknown in Paldea.  I can give you a list of Paradoxes we've found back home.  If you find something that isn't on that list, the Professor will probably be especially interested in it.  Even the ones that we've encountered in Paldea could be valuable study subjects though if their behavior is different enough from what we've observed of them in quarantine."

"Just be warned that Paradoxes are powerful creatures, even if they look fairly harmless and weak at a glance like with Scream Tail and Iron Bundle.  That Sand Crawler I caught is still young, but it looks to me like it's still about as strong as my regular team members.  A fully grown Paradox can go 1v1 with a well trained Pseudo-Legendary if they have a mind to.  And that's not even getting into the Malefic Monstrum.  Don't go picking fights you can't win on our account.  It's my job to handle Paradoxes, so don't hesitate to call me if anything comes up."

The list of typical Paldean Paradoxes and their supposed relations is as follows:
"Those are all the Non-Legendary ones we know of in Paldea.  I can't really speak about the Legendary ones besides Leaves here, but there's a good chance that more exist than what we have seen.  I'd be very surprised and impressed if you encountered any of them and survived to tell the tale."

...

...oh.

Oh no.

It's her.

The representative of the Free Magi and ruler of what remains of the White Forest.

Why is she here?!

This is bad.  Her being here could very quickly become a political disaster, let alone a more immediate problem.

[Leaves.  Don't.  Move.  The last thing we need to do right now is piss off an ally of both the mages and Enigma.  Let Bernhard handle this.  Looks like he's familiar with her.]

Seddi holds a hand out to keep Ceruledge back as well.  Even if this was a foe they could fight, it's not a fight they should pick.

Seddi will not speak unless spoken to.  He can't afford to take an unnecessary risk right now.

Not when that risk concerns Morgana, the Fairy Queen of Neo Unova.

Vernon will take his cue re:Morgana from the others. He's never met anyone this fancy before and he's visibly nervous.

Re:Seddi
"I'm not much of a brawler, but I wouldn't mind seeing some of these critters from afar." Vernon will keep his eye out for a camera shop; he wants one with a long range lens.

Flashforward to when people take their departure:
Vernon starts to follow first one character, then another, thinking "Hmm it might be fun to meet the Professor and learn more about this area" and then "Oh, but he's heading for the ocean! Lovely ocean!" and basically tailing along after each new idea before getting distracted by another idea. (But never Bernhard, who has made it clear companions are not welcome). Eventually, he gets so turned around he's not sure which way is which, nor which of his new companions is nearest to him (although one or another of them must be, he swears he was following someone just a second ago).

The GM can roll whether Vernon ends up wandering North, East, South, or West, so long as it's no more than a few hours hike from the destination of one of the other characters.

The moment you [Spoke] to Leaves Morgana lazily craned her head over and Looked in your direction, twisting ever so slightly to have you within her full purview.

“Oh?”

She released herself from Bern’s grip as if she was not being held at all, and with a single skip -

The most Fae Lady was towering right over you.

“Oh how intriguing, oh what a shame, yet oh the wisdom you hold.”

With casual grace neither befitting royalty or honor, something BEYOND such human considerations, she reached out to you. Your Swords looked ready to Slash her, but a pulse of your Will held them back, if barely.

”With all that was said, what you vowed upon the Old Ways of Dead Gods, what your Soul do brightly proclaimed…”

Closer. She was getting CLOSER.

”This Lady would’ve thought you’d put up a fine show. A pity, perhaps…”

She was centimeters away.

”What a nostalgic thrill it would be, to break Swords betix my hands.”

Morgana carassed your face.

Your vision goes White…

******

Disaster

Disarray

Death

All we’re before you.

All was of you.

All so fitting for the occasion

Craddled in your hands

Lifted so very high

The Young Sword of Justice was there

Bloody

Beaten

Yet Not Broken

Glaring at you with defiance and determination

Not yet

Sssh, dear little valor

You did your best

It was not enough

Time for you to rest

Let us end this rough

With but a flex

A strong grip

You broke young Keldeo’s neck.

***

”Oh my!”

Young found yourself bowled over.

Near the brink of Faint.

A coppery taste filled your mouth.

Your eyes aches, a pink film coating them.

Everything HURT.

Body,

Mind,

Soul.

You suddenly found yourself lifted up, by none other that the Witch herself, worry, surprise, and fascination adorning her feature.

”Serere Grace, are you alright?”
