Nintendo continues its fight against gamers

If you're in for a REAL challenge while having a hilarious journey through Unova, try PitchBlack and PureWhite ROMhacks, I love these to bits.

One would think that Nintendo should be all over them now!

ikr ive been seeing that one and another one: mega something for pc. and when i try to purposly look it up without getting thousands of dl links i cant find anything...

Looks like a cheap bootleg. But honestly, what IS this weird stuff that Walmart sells??

Seemed rather suspicious from the first look at their page, taking a closer look at their producs only confirmed this.

Bump for a semi-related topic in gaming news; both Yuzu and Citra have been taken down in a $2.4 million settlement between Tropic Haze and Nintendo

https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news...-for-2-4m/

Main reason was that it "facilitated piracy", but this won't stop people from pirating games and playing them on a compromised Switch. I personally used Citra because my 3DS currently needs repairing (again...) and only played games that I either physically own or have a license for on the e-shop.

*Facepalms* Oh Nintendon't , you are proving once more why it was a good idea to boycott you all those years ago. Why can't they let us have nice things without ruining it? Sheese....

Piracy is a problem of service and simply not being able to afford games at their exoberant prices now in days. If you don't got good service, then you're going to get piracy.

If pricing was the main issue, then surely Nintendo would have been having more problems with their profit margins for all these $60 games because the games wouldn't be selling as well as they have, no?

I think the main problem here is that Yuzu was visibly prominent in the Switch emulation space, which is already a bit of a red flag since it's the current gen console.  Slap on a patreon with (apparently) paywalled access to emulatable content, and that's a bit of a recipe for getting targeted by the legal ninjas!  Sounds a lot like what happened to Uranium when 1.0 released around the time Sun and Moon did.
