What more like in Uranium?
#1
Hi guys! This a randown thread I was thinking if a make or not, bit whatever Big Grin

I was wondering what you guys from the forums like more about Uranium: The story, the Pokémon desighs, etc etc etc.

Well to begin with one of the things i like very much its the plot of the history. Every mistery inside the plot, the interaction you make with the characters, and the relaction you have with your rival, Theo. I dont know about you guys, but when i meeting Theo for the first time, and after I beat he cry like a baby I think: "Man, what a cry baby". But then i was surprised with growing, the way he became stronger not only with Pokémons, but as a person. In the games about Pokémon i play and watch, Theo its is one of the neste rivals i ever see.

But to be honest, what I really love about Uranium its the online features. Specically, the Wonder Trade. Man if any of you think about the luck I have. In the Wonder Trade extravaganza, along with 4 shinys, I got too 2 Actans. Seriously, imagine the scream I make when i see that things. One was a Regular Actan, but the other, was a Nuclear!

Well I can talk other things but the batery its almost empt. Say in comments bellow your opinions. Until next time!

I love the story and the unique pokemon designs. Most of the designs are really cool, and the decisions made as far as starters go was very cool as well. Level design is also very well done, and the difficulty is enough to make it challenging, but not so much that it's disgustingly frustrating to complete. All in all, I personally believe that they did a very good job here, and I'm looking forward to future developments as time goes on!

Yeah, i think the same man. I think the only Pokémon who i dont like to much the desigh its Empirilla. I think its cool to bring new evolutions to old pokemons, but the desigh of Empirilla evolution its kinda bizarre. Its looks like a pig then a monkey. But i think he cool too. And to be honest all the desigh of starters its incredible too, and so far Electrux its my favourite. I still kinda sad to know they can only evolve one time Sad

And the challengue its very good too, and very balanced. They do a wonderful job to make this game Big Grin

I like both the story and mechanic of the game. It was a fresh spin on the concept of 'go out and be the best trainer', as you were, for all intention and purposes, a research aide that decided to go out of their way to become a league competitor on top of their job, and then got roped into all the drama that happened. The fact that Theo was a cute brat too and Cameron was such a badass helped me become even more fond of the game. Hated Kellyn, though, since I have a very low opinion of parential abandonment, even if its because the loss of his wife. Could have done MUCH better than leaving the PC with their great aunt....

As for the mechanics, I like how everything is so transparent and clear for the player. Natures and IV/EV are on full display here, very easily understood, which is quite helpful for all the breeders here! Would be so much easier to breed if they just made those same changes in mainline games. That, and the battles were quite fluid despite being a fangame, so props to the dev teams for making it such a good time to play! That, and what they did with Nuclear typing was also really clever too!

That all I have to say for the moment, so I'll let other say their piece on the subject~
