With some quick coordinating and generous use of the local mapping app, you manage to meet up with your mentor at a Center near the bar you just visited. Pushing past the notably large and anxious crowd, you hardly have a second to look around before Aaron is upon you, gripping your shoulders with both hands and giving you a stressed, wide eyed look.
"Boy, there you are ! *Looks you over, and sighs with relief* Good, good, you're alright. Come, sit with me."
You two make your way over to an table he reserved earlier - perks of being a elderly trainer - and he collapses into his seat, gripping his can with enough force you can almost imagine the wood creaking.
"First that fiasco with you disappearing, then meeting with Bloody Witch Morrigan, and now this travesty. I knew Sutalor would be wild, but not like this.
*Sighs*
"Darron, I know you probably want to help out with this mess, but we're better off leaving it to the others to deal with. Something that big, that coordinated and done like a Ghost job...that's Ace Trainer Leagues right there, kiddo. Not something you can easily handle without me giving a heavy Helping Hand. We promised to help save this land, but remember - we're here first on foremost on personal business. We'll help however we can, but we got to mind out limits and keep our eye on the prize. *Scoffs* That, and Cynthia would have my ear for Quiver Dancing around something hot like this without extenuating circumstance - hell, she'd complained enough about me coming here with ya to begin with. I'm older than her, but she's more than a hard ass curmudgeon than I am, bah!"
Well, your teach gave his own take on the situation - Stay Out of It. What's your response?

Dodger explaining exactly what happened though causes a darker expression to fall across the cowboy's face as he tilts his hat downwards slightly, covering the top half of his face to partially hide his expression.
"...looters and kidnappers. Humans really can be the worst at the best of times."
Ceruledge is still at his side, a somehow even grimmer expression on her face than usual as she carefully regulates how much her temper is flaring. The temperature in the vehicle does noticeably rise though, and the firelight is reflecting off of a metallic badge that Seddi wears proudly on his leather vest.
Seddi pulls out his own high tech phone and sends a very quick message to Sada.
You doin' okay, Professor? Just heard about what happened.
You get a long but clear message back from her - All is well with me. I'm still working on prior takes and dealing with the government. The news reached me just a few moment ago - truly, it is most vile and wrong. I was about to message you about it myself, but it appears you found out as quick as I had. What is going to be stance on this matter? If you are getting involved, I'll be sure to let our 'minders' know and get this sorted out for everyone's benefit, as much as it disgusts me to play these games with matters such as THESE. Since Oz/ @ Spiritmon didn't have much more to say, and neither of you made any request for stops, everyone makes great time to the '2nd Pokemon Center' . Dodger would go even faster if he could, but intercity speed laws and the crisis at hand is forcing him to slow down, much to his intense displeasure - he wants to deal with this matter 5 SECOND AGO, let alone NOW.
The scene itself....
An entire Center, cordooned off from the public.
It looks so plain and inviting, like all Centers should.
A lie, all a lie, cruelly and Injustice made by whatever scum responsible for it and so many others...
Around it, small but growing crowd of people, Trainers, and Pokemon, all of them terrified out of their mindss. A few medical tents where stationed nearby, with a few nurses, EMTs, Healers, and other folks staffing them and rushing all about, trying to keep the people that can't be moved alive and well in spite of everything. A far too small squad of police officers, Trainers, detectives, and volunteer forces, all grimly patrolling and maintaining the perimeter with tight grips on their armaments of choice and an even tighter grip on the Pokeballs.
Everyone was so on edge, all it would take it just one more disaster to set everything off, like the Blaze to an Inferno.
Evil, desperation, and control: the ever toxic relationship on full display...
As you all stepped out of the vehicle the serious and not at all dandy Rodger turned to you two and gave you a quick nod, jerking his head over to wear the police were, who were already taking quick notice of you guys arrival.
"I'll handle the suits for now. Do what you think is best - if anyone tries to stop ya, tell them that Everret is overseeing things now, and you got permission to act straight from him. Though with your own 'status' I reckon it'd take more than a little red-tape to stop you, Seddi, and I doubt the meds would turn down another Helping Hand after you proved yourself. *Sighs* Right, off I go then. Pray and Wish us Good Fortune to resolve things 'fore they get further out of hand, 'cause if this is only the openning act....damn them all."
With that said, off he does go, to do what he does best - helping others, and making everything groovy and dandy eventually.
@ Pokekitty2 : Just as you were about to head off to do as you may, you both notice something out of place: a salary and Touristy looking man was wandering around inside the perimeter already, looking very much out of his element yet resigned to dealing with things all the same, and at his side an Espeon that was nosing about the place, their eyes and gem stone glowing every now and again as they used their powers to search the scene for ANY clues they can find...

Sada gets a response quickly.
Yup, headed to one of the ransacked Centers now. Wouldn't do my peers' values justice if I ignored this. Should also hopefully count as my 'community service' for the day and keep the suits off our backs. Dodger can put in a good word on that if needed.
As they arrive and Seddi looks around the scene, he grimaces. Pokemon Centers are supposed to be a place of safety, not...this.
"Oz, see how you can help the medics. If you have any trouble gettin' in, just let me or Dodger know. I'm going to start snoopin' around, see if I can figure out who did this and where they went."
...seeing that man and the Espeon though catches Seddi's interest first.
He quickly walks towards the man and feline, flashing his government ID to any officers that ask why he's here. "Here to give y'all some assistance. If you got questions about that, go talk to Everett over there."
The man and the Espeon (@ Pokekitty2) then suddenly find themselves confronted by a rough and tough looking cowboy, a very serious expression on his face underneath that large cowboy hat. And he's accompanied by an even grimmer looking Ceruledge that's staring the both of them down, very obviously trying to get a read on them.
"You two here to assist with the investigation?"

The burly man jerks a bit, startled. "Ah- ehm-" The espeon gives him a sharp look and a reproachful, "Esp!" and he coughs and straightens up. "Um, yes. We're lendin' what help we can. Ah'm Randy, and this is Sylvia-" he gestures towards the espeon. Randy goes to offer a handshake, hesitates, then sets his resolve and sticks his hand out firmly. "What's yer names?"
Sylvia, aware of her disadvantage against the Ceruledge, gives it a friendly nod. No desire for confrontation here.

The cowboy briefly raises an eyebrow at the Espeon's interjection. It doesn't take a trained eye to tell who seems to be in charge here. And given this is a Psychic type pokemon, it might be time for a little experiment...
[Wonder if Sylvia can hear this...might make communication go more smoothly if she can communicate telepathically.]
The cowboy shakes Randy's hand firmly shortly after that silent, inquisitive bout.
"Seddi M. Entary. Paldean Elite Ace, ambassador, and temporary assistance for Bayahama's law enforcement. The grim lookin' ghost behind me is Ceruledge, one of my Swords. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, though I wish it was in more pleasant circumstances. Coordinated lootin' and kidnappin' wasn't on my list of 'trouble I was expectin' to run into' today."
Seddi looks to Sylvia next. "Since you're helpin' out, I have an idea that might help us both. Are you able to Synchronize with other individuals, Sylvia?"

Aaron can likely tell that Darren is mildly miffed. He does comply, however. "Fair, and you are right that I wanna do something."

Seddi looks to Sylvia next. "Since you're helpin' out, I have an idea that might help us both. Are you able to Synchronize with other individuals, Sylvia?" Sylvia notes Seddi’s telepathic communication, but doesn’t respond right away. An astute observer might be able to see her ear twitch though.
At your name, there’s a *snerk* sound and everyone looks at Sylvia, who is shaking with laughter. She quickly regains her composure, however.
Randy is impressed and startled by your introduction. “Ah- ehm- a pleasure meeting ya’ nonetheless, Seddi…”
Your question gets an inquisitive humm from Sylvia. She seems to think for a second, and then you can feel something *unfurl* in the mental space, like a cat stretching after a nap.
>>It is a pleasure to meet you, Seddi. I apologize for my rudeness - your name surprised me. I like it.
>>I am Sylvia. I’ve come expecting adventure, but this was similarly not on my radar. Hopefully we can help clear it up.
>>A pleasure to meet you, as well, Ceruledge. I do hope we needn’t cross blades.
Randy seems relieved that Sylvia has finally spoken up, allowing him to take a backseat.
>>Seddi- I must admit I have never tried to Synchronize, though I agree it would be helpful. I am willing to try.

Ceruledge subtly nudges Seddi when she sees the Espeon's ear twitch. He takes a note of that. Looks like he's going to need to be careful with what he thinks around these two. At least for now.
Seddi doesn't even bat an eye at Sylvia's own introduction (and her snickering at his name). Maybe not surprising given he seemed to have been anticipating the telepathy already, but the man is certainly a bit of a mystery who looks and acts a little out of place himself.
"No offense taken. You can probably imagine how often I get reactions like that when I introduce myself."
Ceruledge gives Sylvia a respectful, silent nod in return. Though she's still keeping a careful eye on the Espeon and her interpreter(?), she's started scanning the area for anyone that looks suspicious. Some of the pressure from her staring is alleviated for now.
"Right then. Rabsca, come on out!"
Seddi tosses a Nest Ball, and the floating psychic beetle immediately takes notice of the other powerful Psychic presence in the area. Their eyes are closed, but it's clear they're interested in the Espeon.
"With your permission Sylvia, I'd like Rabsca to directly assist you with scanning the area. He's a powerful Synchronizer himself, and if you combine your abilities, maybe you'll be able to pick up on something we might miss otherwise. The sensation can feel a little invasive if you aren't expecting it and are sensitive to such powers, so you are free to deny the direct Synchronization if you have privacy concerns. Rabsca works much more efficiently when Synchronized though, and it could double our productivity, which is why I'm suggesting it. The sooner we track down these varmints, the better."

Sylvia’s “whiskers” vibrate and eeeeever-so-slightly bend towards Rabsca as they enter.
>>Rabsca. A pleasure. I am open to Synchronizing, though I admit I’m not familiar with a mutual Synch. Forgive me, but it might take a minute to get used to. Please tell me if I can do anything to help.
There is a slight hum as Sylvia amplifies her own power slightly, in an attempt to make the Synch as easy as possible. Randy is looking uncomfortable - he’s not familiar with Psychic power, and is quite fine staying that way, thank-you-very-much.

You already drew plenty of attention walking around with your sparking and huge Mon of the Black Lagoon, but both yours grim determination and unsubtle anger over this atrocity creates a almost palatable aura that arrests people's gaze and makes the Skittish almost Faint as you march your way over to Chief Officer. His eyebrows shot right up as his full and undivided attention was upon you, and when your other Shiny and scaly friend popped her head out from your basket his eyes damned near widened. Were he made of less stern stuff he might have even gapped at the imagine you presented him - an most Mystical and irate looking Dragon Master, with some of the rarest and most powerful beast this side of Sutalor. Oh the irony...
After you made it clear you were quite willing to help, It took him a couple of second to mull things (and regain some composure), before his lips twisted into a stern frown as he nodded to you. "Please go over the Dusk Gloom Park and clear out the hoodlums there. They're called the Breakneck Boys - small time punks, but they have been causing enough problems for long enough that they need to be brought to heel. We'd have done it earlier, but the festival preparations have kept of busy and they're used to coordinating away from any patrols sent there. A Dragon Master like you, though, should have no problem dealing with them. We have received a tip that have they got a powerful member backing them up, though, someone so Tough that they made bigger gangs steer clear of them. So even if the punks don't give you trouble its best you come prepared. Everything understood and clear, Dragon Master?"
Quest Added: Breaking Up the Boys! Do you accept it? And do you have anything you want to do before heading to the Location?
''Breakneck Boys you say?'' His eyebrow twitches. ''Unfortunately I already had an encounter with those goons, seems like a good opurtunity to teach them a lesson.''
Glancing back at Penelope he sends out Nalu and motions for him to cheer her up a little.
''I'll make sure to find out if that member had anything to do with those recent events, though I do want to ask if there is anything in it for me besides revenge.''
He exchanges glances with Ecclesia and especially Lani, he knew very well that she would be up to dish out some pummleing to those who attempted to scratch her pride.
Before starting the walk he would text Seddi to inform him about his whereabouts and the plan, assuming that he would be the most likely to have experience in dealing with criminals.
(if this counts as the end of encounter 1 he would collect the berry yield and plant a papaya berry for the next day)
Guy with way too much to say about unassuming games.
