Found some items you might be interested in. I'll be heading to a Coffee shop <insert address>. I'll be there for a bit if you wanna collect 'em today.

Darren will disclose what the items are if Bern asks. Since the meetup (if it happens this IG day) won't take up the encounter, Darren'll see what's going on in the immediate area of the Coffee shop for the encounter slot.

(OOC: Totally fine by Darren if the meetup can't happen during this encounter slot or IG day, Bern can set up another time that would be convienent, if needed)

Vernon doesn't have access to a single Fighting move, but he'll oblige Turtwig's desire for a leash upgrade for now.

Any other party member who can make better use of it, Vernon will accept any trade. He's too "hungover" to haggle.

 
While you are displaying the improvised Black 'Leash' you happen to catch they eye of a Dojo Girl, complete with baby blue gi and blond hair tied back with blue beaded scrunchy! They rush forward and point at the Item, looking quite firm yet excited.'

"You. How much for the Supreme Black Belt? I can pay in Poke ($5000), or offer you a Trade in Items (your choose of Pokeballs, Medicine, or a couple of new Held Items), Tutor a Move (Fighting, Normal, or Water, can't be more than 3 BP or Lethal), or take give you a choice to take one of my new students of mine under your wing (One Fight, Water, and Normal Pokemon will be on offer; none of them higher than Stage 1, but will come with 2 Egg Moves and/or their HA/Best Ability)."

Supreme? Maybe that item was better than expected. Still, Vernon doesn't think of himself as much of a fighter, so he makes the trade and adds 5k to his sheet.

Then he heads for the survival center - he might need the cash there.

 Kupo Koffee Kudos!

The Koffee Shop is theme around Eevees, Fennikens, Zoroa, Nickits, Vulpixes, and several other fluffy anf foxy Mons or fox adjacent (such as Furret or Sneasils), as well as elephants, strangely enough. Outside their is a the sign with several of the foxes pictures as well as their paw prints, and has a outdoor area open to the weather with plush seating underneath theme umbrellas. Inside, it's a open-floor cafe with plenty of individual and decadently soft couches and armchairs to sink yourself right into, as well as some 'pit' style circular counchs around tables. In the back were several modestly sized kennels and softly carpeted stretches and furniture hosting about every kind of Fox mon you could think of that was open to the public to interact and play, pet, and Perform with them to their heart's content. You could also see a hallway extend deep inside the building and some stairs leading up to a 2nd Floor, each offering private and/or more Elite services, which include being served by professionally trained Fox Pokemon Staff that know how to put on a good show or serve as a comforting and soothingly furry shoulder when you needed it. Last but certainly not least they had virtually every kind of coffee under the sun, and knew almost every recipe you could think of to enjoy it and with it!

All in all, this was a fox lover's paradise beyond keen and the perfect spot to kick back, relax, and enjoy all that is fluffy kitsune.

Right now the shop is nearly about ready to close, but they're still a few things you could do while waiting on Bern or anyone else:

1. Foxy Raffle! (Unlimited Use!)
Place anywhere at and above $1000 Poke bid to enter into a raffle to receive Rare Fox/Elephant-themed Items, Pokeballs, and Apparel! Grand prize is a random Pure Breed Fox/Elephant Mon with Great Egg Moves and Holding either an Amulet Coin or Lucky Egg (XP and Poke Multipliers, adds + 1 Fortune to a Pokemon that is holding it)! For every $1000 Poke you offer, you get one set of ()() and a 1D20 Dice - the former determines Overall Rarity and Category of Prizing Bracket, while the later determines Individual Quality. You can get up to 2 different 'Wins' from the raffle; if you put in more than 2 wins worth of Poke then your winnings are picked from the best possible results from your overall set of Rolls.

2. Fox Nook! (1x Use)
A small library tucked away into the corner of the store, containing all sorts of books, mainly about foxes/elephants or foxed/elephant-related Lore and Knowledge. Random INS + Knowledge + Alert to find a Book Topic you are looking for, which you can then check out for a few of $500 Poke per day. Various Books can give Buffs to various things, like Specialties, care, Searching, etc.. , or they can give a XP and/or Tutor Successes to you and your Mons for finishing reading them. Rarer Book = Generally Better/More Exciting Results!

3. Foxy Delights! (1x Use)
You can rent one of the 'Elite' Rooms to be catered to by your Final Stage Fox or Elephant Evo of your choice, which in effect grants your Party increased Happiness and Loyalty as well as help bolstering Will Recovery and having an outsider willing to listen to your woes and bounce ideas off of. You also can request Battles from the Foxes or them to conduct various Rituals to confer Buffs/Debuffs/Fortune/Bad Luck/etc. to you or anyone you think of, but these 'add-on' options can get quite pricey.

4. Foxy Rescue! (1X Use)
Adopt a Fox or Elephant Mon for a exuberant fee, which ranges based on species, lineage, Rarity, and overall power and 'uniqueness' . Shinnies of Foxes/Elephants ARE available, and they do accept and take in Fox and Fox Adjacent Mon, giving various Items and Poke rewards in exchange for 'saving and brining fluffiness to where it can thrive!' . This is also where you can play and Perform with the Foxes, which acts as a lesser Battle or Training option for you and your Mons.

5. Foxy Koffee and Cuisine! (3X Use)
What it says on the tin! Foxyphant Koffee costs $250 Poke Base, and you can add various Berries, Milk, Honey, and other stuff to flavor it and confer Effects to you and/or your Mons! They also offer specialty blends of the Day, which often confer more 'unique' boons on the foody.

Right now they are only serving one Specialty Koffee: Kitpha Luwak. Costs a whopping $1500 Poke per cup, but grants a - 1 Fortune Bonus to you the current Encounter and the Encounter after the one you drink it in, grants + 1 to two Skills of your choice for the current/next Encounter, and restores 1 Will for you and your entire team (once per Day) in addition to promoting greater Will/Happiness/Loyalty between you and the entire party for this/the next Encounter. Also increases Resistance to Poison too, just for a little added benefit!

You can also attempt to find a Trainer to fight here, but at this time of Day, the store near closing, and after the BLOODY AND FIREY CRIME bringing down the mood....not good odds for picking a fight here, see. 

While in the Store you can pick any one and multiple different kinds of these Options (Like taking them ALL, for example, or only going for the Koffee and Raffle), and how many based on the 'Total Uses' it has for each individual PC.

No, in fact, they are choices, but they come with three caveats:
1) They're expensive ($5000 each)
2) You have to sign a waver stating you absolve the store of any liability for Lethal and/or Deadly injuries for pissing off them or not being handle a Fight/Spar with them if you request one and/or they decide it's what you and your team 'need'
3) They're the more dominant type of hosts/hostesses, IE They decide how to take care of you right with a little input, not the other way round.

Still, if you can put up with all that they offer excellent benefits on the whole to all sorts of Bonding, Training, and general support, and they give one heck of a good Fight to gain XP and Traits...if your Mons can take their POWER. Also gives you good data to share with Seddi about what these Paradoxes are like kept in captivity AND trained to go against the grain of their Instincts, which is good stuff in general if you want one of them or another Paradox/Elephant later!

Kantonian Ninetales, by contrast, only costs $2000 for the visit, and offers more in the way of Bonding, Counseling between Mon and Trainers, fluffy hugs and service (+ Will Gain), and doing Good Luck/Curse Someone Rituals ($1000 Poke each to modulate your Fortune/Getter Better Fortune and Search Rolls or to impart a Curse Tailsman that your Mon can apply to someone to give them Curse (1 Whole Day Use) ).

Included in the service is 3 Free Koffees, with up to 1 Berry and 1 Honey (+ Happiness Boost) to each. You can also take a book (Cost still applies) from the Fox Nook to study while either Elephants or Foxes pamper/practice with you, and you read through the book faster to gain its benefits faster while doing so.
