Continuing your Tour…

2nd Floor: Pretty much how I described it way back then, but the guide does so you where to offices and ‘hang out’ rooms of visiting Bounty Hunters and Mercs. She also shows you through several exhibits that feature Sutalor at large and goes on the tell you about them: choose 3 Locations or Thingd about Mainland Sutalor you wish to know about!

While walking about you also stumble across a pair of books : One covering the Calamities, the Star Destroyers, and s worn copy of a book whose title seems to be missing.

3rd Floor: The Holding Facilities, the Guide takes you to the med bay and explains how general field medicine and treatment of injuries acquired out in the Wilds. It was quite informative : + 1 Medicine!

*Rolls* You also get to see s Ferrothron and BIG Dodrio inside separate reinforced rooms - both were grumpy, with the former trying to turn his room into rumble while the later stalked about with aMean Looks and snapping beaks. If asked, the guide says the were recent captures by some bounty hunters, as these two were causing major trouble in the area. She says they’ll be either released far way or sold, depending on if they could be made reasonably safe to interact with.

For now, that is most of the Tour Done - make your reactions , ask any questions, and then head in out for your next Encounters!

"For the location, how would one go about finding the Picaros Mangroves? It's a place of great importance to me."

He inspects the ferrothorn but then shakes his head. A steel type would be nice but this one is looking to be much more trouble then it was worth, the rest of his party was hard enough to deal with.

At the end when nobody else was looking he'd hand the guide a note with his number. She was free to call though he was busy today.

He'd turn to Seddi after leaving the building,

"I know you're a busy man but if you do have the time I'd be up to start our training. I understand if you don't but this is a good opurtunity."

If he is indeed busy Akamu would use encounter 3 to check the surrounding district and maybe find a nice lost item or the like to take with him.

*Rolls* As a matter of fact, the TM Store just got a single use copy of Thunder Punch, thought it costs $3000 Poke - Electric Type Move coverage that a lot of Mons can learn is pretty valuable!

Refining that hard earnt Bond and coordination you forged, eh? Not a bad idea - Teamwork and a winning attitude has gotten you many a place, so it only stands to reason to make sure you can maintain that hotstreak.

Training Roll: 5D6 + Fight ; Your Three Amigos minor PD guarantees at least 3 Successes from Training Rolls involving all three of your Mons!

(5)(2)(5)(6)(5) (*5)(5)(*5) Your PC gains 2 XP and your Mons gain a pool of 7 XP to divide up as they which (Min of 1 XP per Mon) ! You, Turtwig, and Muchlax, and your hidden ace were at full grooviness, flawlessly working together to pull of superb combination attacks, sequences, and playing keep away from their imaginary foes and each other. Synchronicity and the power of Friendship at its finest!

Really, the only thing that needed work was Pwee - he was quite unused to working with other Mons (Being a hypercompetitive eater don't make a lot of friends), and trying to get him used to the full on Coordinator Battle routine from the get go just made his head overheat and caused him to collaspe in a funk, eyes spinning and tongue comically stinking out. Well....at least he still tried his heart out, bless him!

Oz was surprised and taken back by all the surprise attacks. She was a bit bruised after Fortuna attack and then look at her. "Ayi Ayi...Good thing I a medic to deal with those wounds." She take a sport that debuffs. It might be a heal to deal it since she have Ianai challenge to do and she still under the debuffs of the Kumbaya, but meh there isn't much can do to deal with it right now.

Oz still laugh a bit at this situation at the fox trickster aura. "You sure have a lot of energy H-Zorua. And a natural trickster you are! I pretty sure you and Persephone will work pretty well. Gonna introduce you two to them. Fortuna is already here, but let me get out the others." Oz then release Persephone and Hecate, the others sisters looking at the two foxes! "Dite. Zorua. Meet Hecate and Persephone. And you two already meet Fortuna."

Introductions done, Oz approach Zorua, who problably is still in Oz form, and then tell her while streching her hand to handshake. "No ill feelings H-Zorua. Let's start again. My name is Oz, and I your trainer. Do you by chance have a name aside of Hisuian Zorua, or can I can give you a name? Or have a name on mind already?"

Introduction done again with H-Zorua and maybe name drop, Oz carefully approach Dite, and sit in the ground in front of Dite. "It's a big pleasure in meet you Dite! My name is Oz, your trainer. I know we meet just today, but I will do my best to provide everything you need from here on out. I also a medic in training, and it is my duty to help everyone. Specially my team mates. So lets do our best alright?" Oz show the best sincere smile she have to Dite. "And dont worry. I will not invade your personal space in case you not comfortable. I know it is a new thing to have a trainer with you, so I will help you to get used and help you all the way. If there anything you need don't hesitate in ask Dite!"

Eventually, you were forced to Recall Fortuna to spare yourself any further sharp (ow!) Pecks and feathery thwack (omph!), especially seeing how one of the Oz' continued egging them on whenever it seemed like her resolve was wannnig. Snickering and giggling, the other Oz did a little curtsy, before doing a twirls and -

*POOF!*

....In their place was a short teenage girl that heavily resembled Tiffany. Only where Tiff's hair was straight, this one's was curly and had purple highlights, was wearing a Hex Girl-esqe outfit instead of a shop get-up, and had a purple bow resting atop her head. Oh, and her eyes - a bright, almost glowing yellow, which crinkled in amusement as she gave a fanged smirk.

"And you're sweet as a double mocha frappuccino with extra whipped cream, if we're stating the obvious. *Snickers* Pretty fun to mess with too - Mom certainly picked a right colorful one, as always ~ "

Once you released Persaphone both she and the trickster fox shared one look before wide grins broke out on both their faces, both of them cackling and bobbing in glee. Oh boy...TWO troublesome Ghosts working together to drive you into a early grave (so they can resurrect you as a Ghost to join them in the fun) ! Hecate, on the other hand, was initially perplexed, as she was completely fooled by their disguise, giving both of you funny looks. Once she was given some Insight, though, they simply smiled and gave a bow to their newest sister, who simply smirked back in turn.

Dite, on the other paw, perked up as she saw this form of H!Zorua, bouncing over to nuzzle the side of their leg, prompting a fond chuckle as they picked up the fae kit and gave'em a fond pet.

"Yeah, me and Dite are familiar with each other already. I help look after the Adoptees here, and I especially get along with my fellow foxy friends. Well, the ones that are not assholes or try to hit on me, anyway - though those ones don't last long once Mom cracks down on them like a Heavy Weight Bastiodon."

Your intro gets an amused smile from her, prompting her to set Dite back on the floor and give them a fond pat before addressing you with hands on hips.

"What, you didn't appreciate me taking on your 'job' ? Tsk tsk, how ungrateful, kei kei. Yes, I know - Mom told me. Bit weird for a mon as Independent as me Partnering up, but Tradition must be followed. 'Sides, it'd be good to stretch my legs with a gander around Sutalor - and maybe the whole world too. As for names.... *Fanged Grin* honey, I have one for just about every face I've ever seen and done; it'd be easier to find a name I haven't been called before. *Chuckles* Bethany, though, is what my Mom and friends here called me - though if you have any ideas for another Name....

Bethany's ears transformed into a pair of cartoonishly long fox ears and waggles them!

"Well, what's another one to add? I'm all ears, Ozzy."

Persaphone is just eating this all up, while Hecate couldn't help but sigh and shoot you a look of sympathy.

Dite, now that she has had a chance to acclimate to things and had an old buddy nearby, walked a bit more confidently towards you and gave a nervous smile and *Yip!*  She's still rather wary, but you seem like a nice enough lady, and if you seemingly have the approval of Bethany then she can hesitantly give you a chance...

It feels very fateful [very matching given what is at stake], very Bernhard-like [not faltering until achieved the desired result] and very 'I am a skilled Mage and know what I am doing' [which he, frankly, is])

Your head shot up with a gasp, sweat on your brow as you took a deep breath. That was....that was something else. Such Magic, such pureness and rightness....it was so overwhelm -

"Mr. Mage!"

*Pomp!*

You're taken out of your revelatory musing as something crashed into you shoulder. Snapping towards the it -

"Mr. Mage! You're alright! Yes, yes!! Mama said you would be okay, but it is good! Good to see you are alright!!" 

- Was Saph Gleam, still dressed in her nightgown, hugging your shoulder and giving you a bright, sunny smile.

Her skin was still pale, her eyes that same gradual purple, and her hair seemed to float of its own accord....

But Saph Gleam was Healthy. 

Saph Gleam was well.

Saph was Cured.

Words were merely able to describe all the emotions and feelings Bernhard had during the whole process, even for someone has highly introspective as him. Feelings that resulted from one single wish and desire: Helping this young girl with his masterly skills, breaking this curse pestering her, freeing her father from all the desperation he had for all that he has left. Allowing for both to take one another into their arms again, hug one another again, as it should be.

The last hope he has been, this Scimitar that Mr. Gleam approached all anxiously at the TM Store has been - and that very Mage lived up to that hope. No, it indeed did not matter to Bernhard whether young Saph won't ever be the same again; what mattered is that she will recover. That the curse laid on her will be broken. That she will... see the world again, with all its wonders, as it should be for someone as treasured and loved as her.

And as that very same daughter of the Gleams was right there hugging his shoulder and giving him that bright smile - Bernhard could not help but to return her hug, gently - yet, with no small amount of pride - pressing her against his shoulder. For right now, all he wanted was to hold her tight and not let go. Savour this moment of success, of having made it, of everything - from not being aloof towards Mr. Gleam's inquiry about Nirix to pouring in the Panacea into the IV with utmost care - having paid off. He was still processing everything that has happened, he fell in sort of a trance during the whole process, starting from pulling out that one bottle of the Panacea and giving her one last look to the moment now... But right now, all that really mattered was that Saph was well. Healthy. Cured.

"Thank you. Bernard."
Another voice, behind Saph.
Looking past her, you see what appears to be an etheral woman, wearing a seafoam green dress and carmel brown hair, and blank green eyes. Around her neck was the Sapphire Pendant - now sporting what looked to be a Pupil and Iris within the gemstome.
The woman - Ezmeralda - gave you a tearful, grateful smile, clasping both hand to her heart.
"Thank you for saving her."

It was then when he looked past Saph, spotting what could only be her mother indeed. She who has never left, she who was still with young Saph, still loved and protected her like the most precious treasure that she no doubt was... She who has come to Bernhard's rescue yesterday night when the brewing process was about to fail. When, thanks to her intercepting and trusting in him, a miracle has occured...

He returned her grateful smile, leaned more into Saph's hug as if to reinforce that this moment was real. "It is not just me who deserves your gratitude. I do have to thank you just as well. For believing in me, for never leaving Saph's side, for continuing to fight back the curse. It is not a small amount your doing that this moment is made possible, Ezmeralda. Thank you.... Truly, utterly and completely. Young Saph is blessed to have a loving and caring mother like you are. Blessed indeed... *looking down, beat, but awestruck* "Such love and devotion... It flatters me that I am here to enjoy this moment with you, that things have went well and will go well from now on for you, for Saph, for Ruben..."  *looking away from Ezmeralda and back to Saph, still in the hug* "From here on, things will be fine. The curse is no more..."

...Still, there is one thought that Bernhard cannot quite fathom - Saph's words of how he 'saved her mama'. .... Did he? He does not remember ever having done a commission or request or favour for dear Ezmeralda.

Unless...

.....Unless it it connected to how she/the Saphire pendant acted on its own yesterday.

"Mr. Mage! You're alright! Yes, yes!! Mama said you would be okay, but it is good! Good to see you are alright!!"

Towards Saph herself, Bernhard had little words. He did not feel that many words were needed though in the first place, how he who is a stoic, stern and no-nonsense Mage of high ranking, returning her hug was enough said. His voice... it's in Bernhard's terms suprisingly gentle still, soft, yet no comparison to the one he use to greet Saph when she was so weak and whispy with the curse still in her system.

He whipes away some of her tears of blood with the sleeve of his robe, if there are any still. Invites and encourages his Pokemon partners - Zephy, Myra, Spritzee - to greet young healthy Saph, rejoice over their success achieved together. Nirix... He receives the most appraising and reverent look Bernhard is able to bring up. (more on that and him later).

Then, Bernhard shakes his head. "How I am is secondary. Tell me, dear Saph, how are YOU doing? How do you feel?"

*chuckles very lightly, smiling* "Oh please, young and dear one, do not call me 'Mr.Mage'. I'd much rather go by 'Mr. Samsara' in your books."

Heh...funny how small things are from the start, eh? From a simple consultation for a worried man to a climatic battle against a most bile Curse using the miraculously brewed Potion and the spirits of the dead, things took a turn for the Strange and thrilling indeed! Not a bad thing at all, but you do wonder if this is yet another sign your life is returning to a more eventful phase - ah, who are you kidding, you know it is. At least you're getting ample opportunities to prepared this time.

The lil lass is eager to Return you hug, though she has a bit of trouble wrapping herself around you and your billowing robs - eventually she settles on glomping on your leg.

The Ghost? Ezemeralda simply smiled and shook her head, placing a hand over her heart.

"You deserve it more than I, Sir Bernard. I was only able to help as much as I could thanks to you. Than you, once more, from the bottom of my heart..." 

Your later comment does cause her to brighten, before a thoughtful and concerned looked flashed across the spirit mother's face.

"That is all true...though I do wonder how my dear Ruben will take my....return. Or anyone else - I hardly think their is a lot of precedence for a case like this. *Firm Look* Still, we'll navigate it together expertly, like we always did...and will do."

Your confusion about how you managed to do this act of resurrection (or would it be more accurate to call it Transformation? Tranmigration?) magic is clear, but you're not going to get anyway unless you raise those questions. Maybe get a better look at the now Altered Pendant - and the eye that formed in the gem...

Their isn't any blood on her anymore - that blast of light did more than purify the girl, it seems. Zephy simply gave the girl a quick hug and a wave, Myra patted their head with her tails, and Spritzee giggled and danced around their head - each and every one of thes e gestures Saph enjoyed. 

Your correction did get them to stop calling you 'Mr. Mage' ....and instead started calling you 'Sammy! Magic Sammy!' , before caused your artistic partner to barely contain their laughter at such a silly nickname.

The question, however, was meet with a vigorous rapid nod from Saph, smiling widely and cheering at that very thought and living it now.

"Yes, yes! All better now! Momma checked to make sure icky gloomy stickiness was gone! Feel so better now - I have some much energy I can go *Zoom*, Zoom!* 

She races around you, very nearly hovering in the process and her eyes shining a certain maniac energy associated with those getting something they truly appreciate now.

"*Stops!* Whew! Tired now...need more practice to run fast again, he he! Mama and my friends will help, I'm sure!!!"

Oz wave her hand at Bethany kind words. “Aw thanks. I am not all that but I am thankful for the compliments. My grandfather was a trainer of Ghost and Dark types, so I helped him take on ghosts when I was younger, so I kind of used the antics of Ghost types.”

Oz already feels tired by the prospect of having two ghosts in her back, but there is not much choice however than to deal with this kind of situation. She smiles at Hecate to calm her.

“I can only imagine. Don't need to worry about anyone here, my friend. My team is pretty much composed of female Pokemon now that I stop to think about it.”

Oz winces a bit with the “Ozzy” nickname and tells her in a certain tired tone. “Please don't call me Ozzy. Otherwise people will think I'm some rockstar or something. I mean…I someway decent at dancing and singing but still…”

Oz giggles a bit at Bethany's energetic antics. “Well, I thought of a name like…Eris or something, the goddess of chaos or something, since you look like Chaotic personality. But Bethany is an awesome name so I'm okay with calling you by that name if you want.”

Oz is pretty much happy to see Dite give her a chance of confidence. “Thank you Dite. Let's be great friends from now on!”

Oz then sights and looks at her new sisters. “Let's just avoid that kind of thing again about transforming into me and call to attack alright? We had a meeting with some friends of mine for some kind of Trial. Gonna be difficult since my friends are pretty tough. There is also a little problem we're gonna need to take care of in a few days. So we're gonna train as hard as we can. But tomorrow I'm gonna work in the shop for a while and help with the Sylveon problem. Gonna adopt Meza and try my damn hard to bond with her. She needs friends!"

How things aka this whole thing and issue with the Gleams started so small but rather quickly escalated (in a good AND bad sense) and took a turn for the Strange and Thrilling is a big and whole mood. Bernhard loathes the thought of his life becoming 'eventful' again - There have been enough 'events' in his life, quintessentially so. But it'd be a lie to say he does not, somewhat so, look forward to this phase and the journey ahead - least it gives him a reason to TRAVEL again, WANDER again, ENJOY his freedom and LIVE OUT his keen wanderlust. He surpressed it for looong enough during his early years as a Scimitar and Acrowl's training, and he's going to trust that Lady Luck and Miss Fortune will guide him like they've done before.


Towards Saph:

How incredibly adorable young and healthy Saph is... So much energy!~ And what a staaark contrast to the image of her being comatose, at the verge of death and coughing up + crying blood, Bernhard needs a few moments to adapt to this drastic change of hers. The image of her whimpering and squirming as the Panacea made its way into her system, the vileness and curse fighting back with vengance... Yeah, all of that will be remembered with a grim face for quite a while.

...But so does the success over HAVING MADE IT, of having BROKEN the curse.

The precious and young gemstone that Saph is receives her bright blue hair ruffled affectionately, similar like a grandfather would do to their beloved granddaughter. "Do not overdo it, dear one. You have all the time and opportunity now to catch up on what you've been missing while the vileness and blackness has been within you... I do hope you - no, I am certain - that you will make good use of having received a second chance. Just a little bit later and there would have been little hope for you..." Thinking about it, this whole thing could have gone a whole lot worse... No, Bernhard does not want to ponder about what would have happened if just one single thing would go differently.

...In hindsight also, he'd rather go by 'Mr. Mage' then. Too late now however!!


Towards Zephy:

For her, Bernhard has some sort of...plea, a request or favour to ask for if you wish. He'll carefully wave her over with a...happy(?) smile, and quietly speak to her: "Say, are you able to...create sort of an artwork of this whole scene of having cured dear Saph? With a focus on her, her ethereal mother, me, and Nirix please... Two exemplars please, if you can and wish to live out your artistic freedom and creative eagerness. One as a reminder on our side, and one as a gift to the Gleams." Saph herself may help and chip in here, if she wishes to do so. Bonding over art sounds fun!

(Read: That's another artwork that gets framed and hung-up in Bern's private quarters, among various other selected drawings and sketches of Zephy. The other one... Is saved for now, and shall be given to Mr.Gleam later)


And now...towards Nirix at last:

He's still there fainted on the ground unfortunately, but Bernhard's certain that his message, feelings and thanks are reaching through to him anyway in some way.

Bernhard will kneel beside his trusted magical steed, once more giving him a highly-appraising and mightily proud look. For a bit, he'd just be there, letting the thought of how far Nirix went to see this young girl happy again sink in, process everything that occured since Mr. Gleam approached them and inquired about the healing powers of Galarian Rapidash's horn... Bernhard will, in comfortable silence where nothing and everything was said, simply pet Nirix's strong neck and forehead, stroke through his soft pastel mane, take a few strands of it into his Gauntlet-hand and kiss it: The latter being a MASSIVE act of awe and respect in his books! "...Little could I have known that you'd go ever FARTHER than just letting me process your horn. With no regards of yourself, you have put your everything into seeing Saph healthy again, for the blackness that is the curse to be banished once and for all... Be proud of yourself, truly and utterly. You have expressed more trust, love and devotion than words can describe... Enough to make me bow to you." And so Bernhard does, it doesn't matter whether this goes against his belonging of Fraction and view on how to treat Pokemon.

Saph too is eventually beckoned over to Nirix, to join Bernhard's side. "Please, do express your gratitude to my unicorn as well, dear one. He has put his everything into seeing you healthy again, enough for him to be drained of energy and strength now... Just be careful to not overwhelm him with your thankfulness, he's quite the proud companion of mine. But I'm certain he'll appreciate personal thanks from the one that he saved."


Towards Ezmeralda:

The feeling of being in front of a Holy Relict or angelic spectral being intensifies the more she speaks, it too fills Bernhard with awe... And timid meekness, yes even embarassment over receiving so much gratitude from her! He'll look away to the side, smiling, giving Ezmeralda a hand gesture of waving things off.™ "...My pleasure. Truly so."
