Oz smiles a bit. She looks at Bernard hand, she hesitate for a second, but in the end she accept it. She still a bit fearful towards Bernard, but after the conversation they had, Oz now have a little more trust on Bern, and less fearful towards him. "Yes. Let's go Mr Samsara. Let's do our best in whatever challenge Ianai decide to throw at us." Oz still need to work on the fear she still feels...but at least she is working on it.

Oz also wave her hand and gave Sylvia a pat on her head.
"It was also a pleasure and a honor in meet you Sylvia. Hope we might see each other in the future!"

Oz also said goodbye to Tiffany and said a goodbye towards Meza, and decided to prepare herself for Ianai challenge!

(Alright, I have some time to post now, and since things seems to have stalled...let me put things into gear once more)

With everyone's days more or less over (And those that are not To Be Concluded in Time...), it was time for everyone to hit the hay and rest up. For some the day was hectic and stressful as the last, but for others it was a time respite and erudition. Everyone's days were eventful regardless - Sutalor indeed proved to be a wild place, even in the very heart of its Settled Civilization. Will things continue to ramp up for these Souls to the next crisis or Event, or will things finally settle for a lull for true relaxation and recovery?

We'll see, won't we?

Day 4
[->********<-]

The sound of a roaring, all consuming storm resounds throughout the morning - whether it is what wakes you or merely greets you is undetermined. Looking at your Phones/Dexes/Televison/etc. , you see a Alert from the Weather Insitution: A miniture Hurricane was sweeping through Bayhama Today until Night Time. Not a terribly bad one, at least by the Institutes and Settler standards, but it was severe enough that they advise business to close for the day and for people to stay indoors if at all possible if they don't have a way of dealing with the strong holwing winds and torrential downpour.

Hurricane Weather Effect: Until Night Time Encounter Slot, All Outdoor Encounters are considered Risky and possibly Deadly. Any Encounters taken outside will count for Twice as much time if they are not happening at specific locations; Any sort of Exploration Encounters or Hunts are likely subject to increasing difficulty but potentially greater rewards. For example, you might find greater treasures that have blown in the city or at the beach, but you'll be dealing with the raging storm and seas in those cases. In effect, if you do an Outdoor Encounter or try to travel through the City to a location that isn't Exempted, it'll cost you 1.5 - 2 Encounters instead, depending on what you're doing or what Protection you bring to Counter the Hurricane weather.

Currently, the only Locations that are Exempt are Centers, The Department Store, the Koffee Shop, and the Government Seat in general; if you want to go somewhere else and want to skip the Cost, you better have a good reason for why!

Wild Pokemon will be scares outdoors, but those that are out are likely to be especially hardy or came out because of the storm; who knows what one could find in the raging tempest?

Finding Trainer Battles outdoors will practically be non-existent unless they're especially Tough and/or Bold (and insane); In Centers, however, a bunch of Trainers would be cooped up and raring for a way to pass the time in some fashion. However, that doesn't mean People might not be out and about in the storm - the gale forces may prove to be an boon and opportunity for some, good or ill....

As for our lovely heroes...

For Seddi, Oz, and Bern: They're be suffering - 1 Exhaustion for their first 2 Encounters and No Will Point Recovery from undergoing their Test from the previous night, grueling and harrowing as it was. In addition, these PCs must Choose 2 Pokemon - they suffer - 1 Pain and 1 Exhaustion for the rest of the Day, either due to taking part in the test or as a carryover effect from their Bonds with their Trainers and teammates.

For Seddi (@Dragonstrike) and Oz (@Spiritmon): You'll be waking up either at a Center or the Embassy, respectively, unless you have an idea of where else your character would end up for the night.

- For Seddi, they would wake up with a Text from Dodger himself, which simply says: 'Hey. Want to meet up with ya ASAP. Got something to share.'

-- You also get a Text from Professor Sada: 'I've been able to partially restore the International connection with Paldea. Connection is unstable, and is subject to dropping in and out without me micromanaging it; calls have to be short, and any Trading be done quickly before the connection fails and I have to reset the system I cobbled together for maintenance. Whatever took out International Communications is frustratingly complex and insideous; it is resisting every attempt I'm making to make simple fixes, and the red tape around this is hamstringing my capability to meaningful resolve these issues without needless work-arounds and some measure of secrecy. I'll be handling updating La Primera, but your Mentor wants to talk with you immediately; she's been quite....worried about you from what little news she's got.'

Oh, and right beside your bed is what appears to be something concealed by a big fluffy comforter, slowing rising and falling. Lifting it up would reveal Iron Leaves, resting faithfully by your side, guarding your own Sleep as what is proving to be her usual trend.

For Oz: You'll receive a message from Tiffany from the Koffee Shop, asking if you could come in Today to help; staffing is short, due to the Storm and they could use the help, or so she claims. As a deal sweetner you'll be given Free Coffee for every Encounter you dedicate your Time Slots too!

- You also receive a message from the Police: 'John' has not be Found or Apprehend, and there are currently no Leads on the case of Assault against you. As a victim of the crime you're being updated on the case for the time being; given recent events, the upcoming Festival, and the storm, you have a feeling that it won't be solved anytime soon...

For Bern/@PhantomUnderYourDesk specifically: You have a choice of where you want Bern to end up for the Night

- The Magi Embassy
- Accepting an Invitation as a Guest at the Gleams
- ....Or sending a message to Morgana if you want to spend the Night with her, now that you know she's Available

Different places will have different Things available for you to engage with at Day Start; choose carefully....

For Darron(@Mikaruge108): They lose 2 Will Points instead of gaining Will from Resting, the effects from their Encounter with the Flutter Mane rearing their ugly head. In addition, they find the feather they 'obtained' from them right beside their bedside nightstand, faintly glowing with pink light.... The Shedninja is also awake, floating by your bed with what you think is an air of confusion but acceptance.

For Vernon(@Iron): They gain 2 Will Points from their Rest, it proving especially invigorating after the mental slog that was yesterday from them. They receive a text from the Survival Center saying they're free to come at anytime to Visit the Big Dodrio, but can otherwise reschedule to Tomorrow or later if they can't get through the Hurricane Weather; No Encounter Cost to traveling through the Storm if going to the Survival Center for Vernon.

For Akamu/@Redstone : You have choice of outcomes...

- If you wish, you could have your 4th Encounter (Date Night!) abridged; this will give you set rewards as well as some randomized outcome with how things went. You can choose an overall approach you want Akamu to have with the woman, though, and I'll factor that in accordingly!
- Regardless, you have a choice of where your PC wakes up: Either at a Center, or at the Tour Guide's Residence.

As with Bern, the different locations will offer different Things for your character to interact with...

Sylvia the Espeon has elected to join the Koffee Shop as a worker for the time being; her meeting with the young Flareon stirred a certain sense of responsibility within her, and she's currently acting as a mentor and teacher for all the foxes there.

Ianai is currently MIA: after the Test they vanished. They claim they need time to 'recover' from it too; how and why remains unseen.

And that is that: how will each of these Souls greet the Dawn?

(Edited charasheet accordingly to reflect the effects of Day #4! As in, added notes of the Exhaustion and the weather effect of the day. The two chosen Pokemon to suffer -1 Pain and 1 Exhaustion for the rest of the Day are Spritzee and Nirix, because I have plans with the other two 'Mon that are Bern's partners.)

With that test set up by Ianai taken, completed and properly dealt with (whatever it has turned out to be, it does not affect my choices for the morning of the Day), Bernhard's all but ready to return to his private room at the Magi Embassy to properly rest up and turn in for ther night there. Sweet solitude and peaceful silence!~ Going to leave the Gleams to cherish their blessing of Saph being healed, Ezmerlada having 'returned' for now and, last but not least, discuss how to properly reward him with having saved the family. Bernhard's help and lending of extraordinaire skills does not come free after all! Reeeeally not in the mood to see Morgana now and even less so to spend the night with her, as oooverly pleasant as it has been every time and regardless how tempting~ it was after she has, uhm, 'enticed' Bernhard during her morning's visit to deliver smol Spritzee. Nope, sorry m'lady!

His feelings and thought over that miniature Hurrican that has greeted him first thing in the morning (nope it didn't wake him up per se due to his allegiance to the Air Scimitars) and getting the news by the Weather Institute can be summed up to:

Bernhard takes some pleasure in simply observing the weather from the window while drinking tea. If anything, this gives him the opportunity to walk around outside unbothered (naturally taking some necessary precautions) and have Zephy around without a Spell of Invisibly cast over her, hooray! ...That also means that the Black Market is quite likely? going to be out of bounds until the Nighttime Slot, damn. Well, it is not going to run away, will it?

Darren wakes up, groggy from the unwanted visitation of the Flutter Mane events. "Huh." he says when he sees the feather is glowing. He picks it up and puts it in a pocket as he makes some instant coffee. He notices the poor weather, and he carefully will make his way to a place where other trainers would likely be holing up for his first encounter.

In terms of handling Weather, Water Scimitar are typically the ones that fair best in Rain and similarly Stormy Weather (Like Hail), while the Earth Scimitars deal with the Sun and Sand handily. Air Scimitars, by contrast, could be considered middling in capability in most usual Extreme Weather Condition, but either are rapidly able to adapt to most change to bend it to their advantage or chose to 'go with the flow' rather than dominate or endure like the other factions of Scimitars. Air Scimitar also typically specialize in other Field Conditions or Tactics when performing magic or in their work, such as the use of Terrains or (commonly) Ariel Superiority, Wind Control, or more rarely stuff like Air Pressure and Force of Convection to mimic Barriers, Gravity, and Temperature Control. 'Freedom' was a core tenant of the Air Scimitars; like the winds, they are unbound and change at their whim.

For Bern, if he enjoys Hurricane Weather he could have conceivably developed a Spell to help shield him from Rain, but the sort of raging tempest going outside his room is well beyond his ability to ward off completely. He'd also have to take care if he uses Myra's Power - though he's spared the Type Interactions that much Water is bound to make his attempts at using Fire Magicks that more difficult or finicky. Conversely, using Zephy's own Ice and Electric power would be a literal howling breeze - the Weather outside was perfectly conducive to shock a person senseless or freeze them to the bone.

In any case, he still needs to have a way to either handle the storm weather, or decide to simply take it on the chin. (If you have any Ideas, bring'em up!)

For the BMs....well, crime never really sleeps or takes a day off. Especially when disaster happens and acts as a oh so convenient distraction. Considering the upcoming Festival, the Phantom Center Kidnappings, and now this Hurricane.....the criminal elements are probably busy as ever in some capacity. Whether or not that means the BMs are open....well, you'll have to find that out on your own.

Picking the Feather up, you feel a chill race down your spine, and ghostly laughter echoes in your head for a moment.

....And it faded quickly, leaving you alone but shaken. The Shedninja seemed to peck up during this exchange before settling down, floating over to your side and simply remaining there.

Since you were resting at a Center for previous days Encounters, I'll say you and Aaron decided to bunk in some of their rooms for the night. Normally it'd be hard to get one in such a busy city, especially with the recent Lockdown, but between your recent heroics and what you survived (Let go~) you well earnt a semi-permeant booking there. In that case you'd find plenty of Trainers in the lobby, all of them either watching the news or other stuff on the TVs hanging on the lounge area's walls or milling about with anxious energy as they listened to the storm churning outside. State the Difficulty of the Battle you want (Easy, Moderate, Hard, Tough) , the Bid, and Other Conditions (Such as Fighting to Faint or 1 HP, or the Type or Kind of Opponent you want to face), and I'll determine an appropriate Battle or the closest one to it.

Vernon gets low, like Turtwig, and scuttles his way to the Survival Center.

Once inside, he makes his way up to the room where Dodrio is promised to await him. Munchlax, who will be taking point on this encounter, is marching proudly beside Vernon in his oversized boots, clomping up the stairs. He is so proud, in fact, that he has forgotten the danger (Amnesia). He's swollen not only with proud, but also with the several gallons of water he drank from the fishtank and lots of random items he has eaten on the way up (Stockpile).

[I think it should be okay to buff ahead of time, since Vernon knows exactly where the encounter will be, what is awaiting him, and can open the door to begin actual combat at any time? If so, that's +2 Sp Def and +1 Def].

"Anything else I should know?" What does Vernon see before opening the door - is there a window, cameras etc?

Getting through the storm was a surprisingly easy affair, though perhaps that may due to whatever experience you had at braving the elements with your companions. That, or utilizing Pwee to literally Surf through the streets at breakneck speeds with some creative thinking through the more flooded parts; now that's what is called a Hidden Move!

Buffing Munclax before meeting with the abnormally large avian is perfectly alright with me, especially with the way you phrased it!

Upon arriving you're greet by a male attendant. Tall, wearing camo outdoorsman-like gear and a gear cap on his head, wearing what appeared to be steel-toed boots, and a old scar that trailed across the bridge of his nose to the edge of their right eye, this fellow looked prepared to take on the many grueling trials this region has to offer. Despite first appearances they offered you a friendly smile and a good handshake before taking you to the room where the Big Dodrio was housed in, filling you in on the details all the while.

"You're Vernon, right? Looking to Charm that big ol' buzzard? Excellent! They should be just waking up 'round this time, so they shouldn't be too feisty 'less you provoke them or something. Girl is real particular about how she's treated; show her respect and stand your ground near her, or you'll get three beaks trying to tear into ya! Got to be firm too, though, or she'll try to take advantage of ya. The left most head doesn't like to be touched, the middle one doesn't like being stared at, and the right one gets nippy if she thinks that she is being left out of things. If you got any Berries to bribe'em you better have enough for all three, or you'll get harassed and mobbed by the heads left out. Lastly, be prepared to run or getting Tackled - girl likes to chase people, especially if they end up making her mad or overeager. That should be the jist, so we'll leave the rest to ya."

Of course they would be ready to bail you out if things got bloody, but for the most part you were on your own.

Looking through the viewing window of Big Dodrio's room, you find them currently resting in a corner on what appears to be a bed of leaves; one head seemed to be jostling a bit, as if ready to wake up at any time. If you want to Fight or get the jump on the big bird then you best act fast; otherwise you got a bit of time to think of your approach.
