Let's do venom extracting, what's the worst that could happen (don't answer that)

Darren will try to procure a setup like what is used for snake milking for Glomena to chomp into, and Beedrill to 'sting' depending on how many units are needed/made, Darren will keep any leftover units for himself or Bernard to use at a future point. He wants to keep it natural/kind, so no taxing

You are able to procure 2 Units of Venom from Glommena and 1 Unit of it from Beedrill - while you have some experience doing this with your precious Bugs it is not something any of you do with real frequency (hence the low yields). Beedrill seemed especially frustrated with the process, as trying to use Poison Sting in such a non-intuitive many was not buzzing with him. On the bright side you didn't exhaust your Bugs or had to roll for the units, having patiently guided them through the whole process.

Crafting the Bug Venom into general Anti-Venom, however....

Thankfully you didn't botch a thing, able to produce 2 Units of medical grade Anti-Venom, much to the stunned but grateful relief of the doctors and nurses Apparently you didn't forget your high school chemistry lessons and the more niche aspects of being a Bug Trainer, huzzah! 

Increase Bond with Glommena and Beedrill ; Increase Darren's Medical Specialty by 1, and future Anti-Venom/Bug Poisoning attempts will be easier.

Sylvia gives a nod to the Medicham when it is released, immediately checking her psychic aura to prevent entanglements. She accepts the Pokepack graciously, not doing more than a cursory once-over of the largest of its pouches - it would be rude to take full inventory, she believes, of a gift.
When he hands over the phone with that comforting smile, she replies: It has been a pleasure to meet you as well. Please, call me Sylvia - is there a name you would go by?

She responds to his reply with courtesies before thanking him once again and turning towards the Medicham, taking a small breath, and then: I'm ready. And if you could, to Kupo Koffee, please.

The fisherman inclines his head to you; even though you can't see it you can feel the kind tinkle in his eyes.

"Sylvia, my name is Mishu Karu. If you any help, give me a ring. Won't always be able to help, but I'll always have an open ear for you.

The Medicham slowly stretches out into a normal pose. With one finger it touches the gem on your forehead.

In Vernon's mind, he executes a beautiful swap, recalling Cruz and sending out Pwee gracefully enough to land softly on the lilypad. Instead, he clumsily falls into the water fifteen feet from where Pwee has appeared, with barely enough awareness to tread water. A tail from the depths gently nudges him closer to Pwee, who scoops him up along with a few inches of slimy water, and they head toward the Pokemon center.

"Don't release the Pachyderm..." is all Vernon can mumble as he stumbles into the P.C. along with a wash of brackish water.

During the confusion, the valuable contents of the purse end up in Vernon's inventory.

Considering the danger, Vernon can only count that as a success. He and Cruz learned a lot, and no one said this project would be easy.

Well, since Bernhard won't be meeting with him today and there isn't really anything else asking for his attention right now, Seddi has suddenly found himself with more time than he was expecting.  Guess he can talk to Akamu about whatever it is the Alolan found.

One text to Akamu later:

Turns out I have more time on my hands than I was expecting to, so it seems I have some time to talk about your latest catch right now.  Where do you want me to meet you?

Presumably, this would conveniently have Seddi making his way to the Koffee Shop with Akamu providing the directions to it.  Time for another chat about a crazy powerful pokemon, but also a surprise reunion with Sylvia maybe?

Besides, a coffee sounds like something he needs right about now, given what happened this morning.

"Good gracious!" the Nurse had to say after seeing the nasty Concussion, immediately rushing you off to Emergency Care to get that all treated. Though still dazed, you swear you could see the nurse you left Cruz' Ball with go pale as he read up on what he was dealing with.

You're Concussion is Cured, and you're back at full HP by the end of the visit at no cost (go free Healthcare for Trainers!), but this will take up your last Minor Encounter Slot. I count getting/trading for Cruz to be a Minor one, and the previous Encounter a Moderate one, so you have 1 Moderate Slot remaining. 

You also get one mean tongue lashing by the Nurse overseeing your treatment at your 'foolishness' once they get the enough of the story of how this happened, but suffer no repercussions otherwise beyond maybe some embarrassment.

[Works for me if it works for Akamu/Redstone , though since they exhausted their Encounters for the day I believe any meeting would take place in the evening. Which would also work out fine since that's the rough time frame I'm seeing Sylvia pop back into Bayhama, though if she doesn't want to meet then she could simply appear later in the evening]

[Also, do tell me if you're going to be using a Minor, Two Minor, or your last Moderate Encounter Slot on this when you decide. This is likely going to be a mostly RP / Maybe Showcasing + Research Encounter , so Slot quality can swing a lot of what you're going to get out of this/how much researching and time you got to get everything for him and you. ]

Minor Slot for Minor Jobs, coming right up!

1. Some Trainers are looking for someone to give their Pokemon some exercise, and you could devote Darren's time to leading a big group session. The Old Gentlemen vouches for you in this task, so you'll be able to draw a good crowd to teach (and learn from yourself).
2. Grunt work for the Staff at the Center, which include basic housekeeping, cafetria duty, and janitor responsibilities. Its not glammorous, but you'll be doing your part to make everyone jobs a lot easier and earn further goody points with the Center
3. Bug your Mentor for something to do. Aaron has mostly been snoozing in the lobby throughout this day, waking up occassionally to keep an eye on you and to see if anything would require his assistance. He'll find some way to keep you occupied meaningfully, though it'll no doubt put you through the ringer (again).

Sylvia gives herself a moment looking up at the sky, taking in the relief of being... well, she can't exactly say *safe*, given that this is still Sultalör, but... it still feels that way, a little. She makes her way into the cafe, hoping that it's still her day off and she hasn't missed a shift. She daintily shakes her paws off in the entryway before approaching the barista.
'Afternoon. Is Tiffany in today?
Her goal is to discuss what happened - Tiffany has become a friend of hers, (I- I think I have the name right there, lol) and she needs a de-stresser. May as well order a Koffee (Persim berry)
