[Game Thread] Lord Windos’ PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands

Sylvia gives herself a moment looking up at the sky, taking in the relief of being... well, she can't exactly say *safe*, given that this is still Sultalör, but... it still feels that way, a little. She makes her way into the cafe, hoping that it's still her day off and she hasn't missed a shift. She daintily shakes her paws off in the entryway before approaching the barista.
'Afternoon. Is Tiffany in today?
Her goal is to discuss what happened - Tiffany has become a friend of hers, (I- I think I have the name right there, lol) and she needs a de-stresser. May as well order a Koffee (Persim berry)

The staff jolts in surprise upon seeing you, but wastes no time in fetching Tiffany, who was - judging by the irritated worry and the feeling she wanted to pick you up and shake you sensed - relieved yet non-too pleased to see you popping back in.

"Sylvia! Where in good green Earth have you been? I tried calling you several times, but all I got were messages saying the number was not avaliable! *Pauses, leans down to squint her eyes at you* ...And why do you seem....different , somehow?"

You get a Koffee on the house - both as part of your staff benefits but also because your friend could see you needed a bit of a Pick me Up.

Turns out I have more time on my hands than I was expecting to, so it seems I have some time to talk about your latest catch right now.  Where do you want me to meet you?

Presumably, this would conveniently have Seddi making his way to the Koffee Shop with Akamu providing the directions to it.  Time for another chat about a crazy powerful pokemon, but also a surprise reunion with Sylvia maybe?

Besides, a coffee sounds like something he needs right about now, given what happened this morning.

Sylvia does her best to describe what happened, though... she's not amazing at explaining the dark path encounter, as her emotions still get in the way, and she has zero words to describe the Void, so she... skips that part of the explanation. She still needs to think about it a bit herself. She does, however, get across that her old phone is completely lost and she's working with the one Mishu gave her. New number, unfortunately, but she gives Tiffany that update so she's reachable again.

She'll be around when Seddi and Akamu arrive, yes. Though she's got one important question for Tiffany: I'm not certain of the passing of time throughout this - I've lost track of the date.

This service is normally not available for obvious reasons, but in your case hon....well, its why it was created in the first place. *Sighs* Regardless....sugar honey ice tea, you've had it rough. Take tomorrow off and get some rest . Hopefully you'll feel right as Rain once you get adjusted to the....well, it sounds like a new you."

Numbers are exchanged once more and your boss leaves you to recuperate.

The time of date is Evening - whether its mid to late depends on whether Seddi/Akamu (Dragonstrike/Redstone) want it to occur. You'll be there first before either Akamu or Seddi get their, however, and they won't notice your presence until you want it Known.

When an Espeon joins them at the table though, it takes Seddi a second to realize who it is.  He glances at her, looks back at Akamu...

...then blinks and looks back at the Psychic type.  "Vaultin' Veluza, Sylvia, is that you?  When'd you get here??  And where've you been?  Tried contactin' both you and Randy earlier, but couldn't get through no matter what I tried."

Out pops Seddi's Veluza to see what the ruckus is about!  Seeing there's no battles going on though, the razor sharp fishy relaxes a little...at least, until he glances in Akamu's direction.  He doesn't know why yet, but something seems *off*...

Oh man where do I even begin... I'll leave the leadup short for now. It all started when I went to go fishing at the beach..., you know something normal for once. After hearing the sea calling for me and following it I ended up in a strange cave. Strange environment, strange pokemon you get it. I ended up catching one creature pretty fast but the other one *Seddi will notice a small tremble in his voice*.... I'm sure it would have turned me into mush if it wasn't for Lani's outstanding fighting and an incredibly lucky catch.... (insert headpat)

Gathering his composure again he'd ask: So what do you want to check out first? The more normal critter to get started, the other junk I found or the main reason for this meeting? I do have to warn you though, his ball is NOT easily handled.

He'd ignore the espeon for now, unaware that she and Seddi knew eachother and pretty focused on the task at hand.

Thankfully you didn't botch a thing, able to produce 2 Units of medical grade Anti-Venom, much to the stunned but grateful relief of the doctors and nurses Apparently you didn't forget your high school chemistry lessons and the more niche aspects of being a Bug Trainer, huzzah!

Increase Bond with Glommena and Beedrill ; Increase Darren's Medical Specialty by 1, and future Anti-Venom/Bug Poisoning attempts will be easier.

Darren looks for further minor odd jobs around the Center he can do

Minor Slot for Minor Jobs, coming right up!

1. Some Trainers are looking for someone to give their Pokemon some exercise, and you could devote Darren's time to leading a big group session. The Old Gentlemen vouches for you in this task, so you'll be able to draw a good crowd to teach (and learn from yourself).
2. Grunt work for the Staff at the Center, which include basic housekeeping, cafetria duty, and janitor responsibilities. Its not glammorous, but you'll be doing your part to make everyone jobs a lot easier and earn further goody points with the Center
3. Bug your Mentor for something to do. Aaron has mostly been snoozing in the lobby throughout this day, waking up occassionally to keep an eye on you and to see if anything would require his assistance. He'll find some way to keep you occupied meaningfully, though it'll no doubt put you through the ringer (again).

The very moment that Akamu entered the shop you felt something Dark. I M M E N S E L Y  D A R K . So damn D A R K  it very nearly caused you to wretch up your Koffee in instinctual distaste, horror, and sheer unadulterated nauseated Terror.

Heck, you started getting MAJOR SCARY VIBES quite awhile before they blue hair boy entered the shop - which so happened to coincide the moment they decided to head over here.

Even Tiffany - who was lingering around - looked ill at ease, a sort of hunted look cast about her as she couldn't keep her gaze off Akamu as she bustled about the place.

Once you looked at him your gaze automatically snapped to the...the....most damn ominous Ultra Ball she ever laid eyes on.

You could feel [WHAT] (D A R K ) was in it.

[HURT HURT, CONFUSED, INDIGNATION, SCARED, CONFUSION, A N G E R  A N D  F I G H T ]

Then, [IT] ( D A R K ) noticed your Wise Gaze

You slam you Psychic senses and innate Empathy down automatically, and try as you may or may not your body's hackles are fully raise, with you looking like a wild fox ready to Fight or FLY.
