Pokérus - spreading to newly hatched Pokemon?

I had those pens crafted and engraved by master artisans, each isolated in a different corner of the globe. The amount of favors I called in to reach them and employ their services were staggering. Yet here they lay, in pieces, strewn across the sterile floor.

In the future, please be more cautious about using volatile chemicals and substances, especially when these mixtures are powerful enough to severely alter human anatomy.

Oh no you don't! *Throw the syringe like a javelin, nailing Eevee-Phantom center-mass* *The liquid instantly floods the unfornately impaled body, numbing all sensations due to the aesthetic that was in the mixture.* There, now you can't get Pokerus... in theory! Well, the chemical mix I spilled on you was one that I have done quite a bit of research on. If I work the night away, I should be able to synthesize a cure for you, using some old DNA from your human hair cells. Err, don't ask how I got them, by the way.

Oh, and here! *Yanks the oversized needle from Eevee-Phantom's body. Surprisingly, the wound closed instantly, leaving no scar behind* Interesting... it seem that either the vaccination gave you high regeneration factors, or the chem. mix I spilled on you made you into a Hyper Eevee. I'll have to run some blood work tests on you, while I make a cure for your condition. *Pulls out a much more reasonably sized syringe, which was empty*

Digital Report #05, Saturday 31/12/16

Accidently got turned into an Eevee by Dr. [DATA EXPUNGED] and one of his selfmade chemicals. Thought that this would be the chance to infect myself with Pokérus and learn about the progress of infection by myself, but Dr. [DATA EXPUNGED] disagreed and prevented an intended as well as unintended infection with the pathogenic organism via the prototype of the vaccination that he was working on.

Realized an increased self-healing process due to either the mentioned chemical or the vaccination. Blood tests shall clear the matter up.

Personal note: Decided to stay overnight in the lab and watch Dr. [DATA EXPUNGED] trying to find an antitoxin.
