Oz was horrified when she sees Persephone be slammed to the ground with such brutality. "PERSEPHONE!" Oz run towards Persephone and see she didn't had any serious wounds. Her heart get relief until she heard something be cut. She gasp after see Daikatuna trips in his own blades and get some serious wounds. She gasp, and her instincts always make her go after Daikatuna to help him, but the Old woman was quicker and patch the serious wounds of Daikatuna. She sight in relief and then look at Persephone and pat her head while returning to the Pokeball and quick going in the direction of Bethy. "You were amazing Persephone. I promise to reward you later, I swear!" He quick go straight to Bethy and see her in the ground, to see if she is okay. "Bethy! Are you okay?! I will return you to the Pokeball if you are not okay to continue this battle! You are in a bad shape!" Despite Bethy wounds be healed by the Life Dew, he is still worry of her state. She looks at the Old Lady and tell her.

She was angry because of the Old Lady done to Persephone in such brutal way...but she problably loose her concentration and get extremely worry at Daikatuna. In a lot of ways, she can see the connection between them.

Oz said nothing at the woman, but gave her a understanding look between them. And grabbing her Pokeball. She throw at the battlefield, summoning Hecate. She sees how in bad shape Bethy is, and look at her opponent...And get genuine surprise in her foe be a Human! She looks at Oz confused. "Don't know either sister! But she is strong! Very strong! Enough to face toe to toe with Persephone and Knockdown Bethy! Don't understimate her!"

Still hesitant, but Hecate still nods her head in agreement. If her sister says that woman is strong, she will not doubt her strategy. The stone in her hair begin to glow strong, and Oz herself get up, her necklace shining strong. The people around them could witness the orb of pink energy begin to form around Hecate, and to the crowd surprise, the Old Woman and problably Bethy herself (since she never see Hecate Mega Form, nor problably ever heard of a Mega Hatterene before!).

Hecate is looking at is looking at the Old lady, her weapons still sheathed . Oz look at Bethy still worry in his face. "Bethy, things will might become extremely dangerous from now on. We will problably need to act in the defense now...But I will understand if you want to retreat. I can't ask you to risk more than you already risk. Your safety is very important to me and Hecate. So if you feel better to return to the Pokeball, go now sister." I stand up and see the adversary in front of me. "You bring your Ace Pokemon to the field Lady. Meet Hecate, the Witch of War and Wonder. You defeat my older sisters. But I assure you..." Hecate unsheath all of her weapons. Each one ready to deliver the battle of her life. "...Hecate is in another level."

"...gah...my head...my back...why do I feel like I've been kicked by a Mudsdale...?"

Probably because he was kicked by a Mudsdale, if the large mule pokemon staring at him with an incredibly unamused expression is any indication.

"...oh.  So, what in tarnation just happened?"

Being the cause of all these hijinks, one can only imagine that there must be laughter coming from the strange two screened device.  Or maybe that's just the Confusion wearing off and it's all in Seddi's head (:

Upon being informed of the events, Seddi will take his hat off and bow deeply in Sylvia's direction.  "My deepest apologies, ma'am.  That was rather unbecoming for both of us.  Should have set up my precautions earlier." Kayla the Mudsdale gets a similar apology too.

Though when Sylvia speaks (probably to berate him, which he admittedly probably deserves), he will do a double take briefly.  Hang on, she talks now?  And she's still five times her size??  Is he sure he's not still Confused???  Maybe he should double check with Rabsca...

Speaking of precautions though, Seddi needs to prepare to analyze Akamu's new critters.  "Right then.  Back to business so we can all be on our way sooner rather than than later.  Put the critters' Pokeballs on the table, Akamu.  Gonna scan them with my phone real quick so we can get some basic info to start with.  It's no lab facility, but it's what I have to work with until the Professor gets her lab up and runnin'."

He'll also summon Rabsca to set up Safeguard (one status fueled set of shenanigans is enough for tonight, thank you very much!); Reflect; and Light Screen, and Goodra just in case either pokemon breaks out and decides to start doing a little roughhousing.  Maybe Rabsca can use his Synchronize to help Seddi avoid any further crazy Insight based blunders too...

She does berate you a bit, but doesn't drag it out: "Please refrain from handling me like that again if possible, Seddi. That was unpleasant."

"Just... be careful with what's in that Ultra Ball. I don't like how it's been feeling me out."

L: (1)(4) 1 Success

In Spite of nearly getting minced by the sailor and her sword your fiesty fox seems MORE determined than ever to stick in the Fight! Or perhaps BECAUSE of Spite - Bethy's species holds grudges like no other, and she certainly wants her pound of flesh after that beating! So much so her Special increases by 1 for the rest of the Fight - she's raring to GO!

The moment you summoned Hatterene made your opponent tenses even more, her guardedness at an all time high with eyes dark, narrow, and stormy as she  g r o w l e d  out a three words:

"Another Fucking Witch."

Of course that was hardly the end to her woes as you and your sister pulled of her Mega Evolution with stunning, spectacular style, earning several gasps of amazement and shock from the crowd around you! You Witch of War and Wonder, after taking but a moment to adjust and draw her Weapons, took the measure of her opponent....

...And nearly go straight on the assault with the downright murderous aura that had enveloped the salty dog. The old lady's eyes had narrowed even further to pinpoints, and you could hear metallic strain as she forcibly kept herself in place, lest she do something most Rash. That look in her eyes, previous shadowy and stormy, was now...

INS + Contest + Empath
(1)(3)(2)(2) (2)(4)(3)(2)

...almost indescribable in the intensity of the emotional turbulence she's having over seeing your Battle Mistress. The only thing you could parse was this: they felt hunted.

Your words didn't seem to reach your stressed opponent, their gaze glued to your sister's own defensive and hyper vigilant one in glare off that you could almost SEE the sparks coming from. For a long, long moment it seemed like this once sporting Fight was about to devolve into something much more messier...

??? Will's : 10D6 + 2 (Stubborn Old Dog)
Difficulty: 2 (???) + 2 (Lost Control) = 4 ; She needs min 4 NOT to do something terrible, and 8 to push past whatever got her so riled up.
(4)(5)(6)(6) (6)(6)(6)(1) (1)(3)(5)(2) 7 Successes

....The old lady took a deep breath and heaved a Sigh so heavy you and your sisters could FEEL the Pressure coming from it.

"....Enough. Enough. .....I quit. Continuing from here...."

She grips a hand so tight you could almost swear you see it deform from the force.

"....Will end poorly. For everyone. I already escalated once. Lost control. I can not afford that to happen. *Sighs* Not again. Never again ."

Slowly, almost grudgingly, the metallic blue thing she did to herself receded and faded away, and she forcibly straightened her posture into a distinctly uneasy but picture perfect military posture. She reached into her coat and threw out a bag in front of you, almost causing Hecate to attack it and subsequently them. It *jingle!* as it hit the ground, and as you picked it up you could feel its weight and the *clicking* of many metal coins. This must be the wager money, no doubt about it. $3000 Poke Obtained.

The old woman looked stern, guarded, and stressed, yet so tired and done with things.

"....To the victor goes the spoils. Now...I will take leave. Do not bother me. Not today, not tomorrow, not soon. If you want answers... Oquqo. Look it up, then come find me...if you are brave."

Then, without another word, the sailor turns around and stalks off, heading over to the freighter with swift, grim determination, parting the crowd like a knife through butter.

Hecate seems....a bit flummoxed by what looked to be a most worthy foe to test her Might and Magic just....refuse to Fight her. What? Was that it? Were was the most epic Battle she was foretold? This....this...this was most underwhelming a twist, oh yes, oh unrest!

Your sister let out an aggrieved huff, seething her Weapons and crossing her many arms with a disgruntled pout as she glared after the old lady. It was a strangely adorable sight, and reminded you that despite being your most violent sister she was also a relative innocent child at heart. Strange dichotomy, but that's a 'wicked' Fairy like a Hatterene for ya.

Bethy, on the other hand, promptly collapse into a fluffy and worn out ball of battered fox, letting out a tired whine of Pain and discomfort. Oh thank Sinnoh it's over. Revenge is all well and good, but even she was having second thoughts after that freak of a woman never lost it! Oooh, she better get some good pampering and TLC for this, or she'll shred her Trainer's best shirts, she SWEARS....

You....we'll see

Victory. Everyone gains 5 XP [After XP Mods]

This concludes your 1st Moderate Encounter; I request you don't head into another Battle for your next and last Moderate Encounter, since those are time consuming and I need to get through Phantom's ASAP. If you need ideas I'll help you out.

Sigh... ''The fact that a talking Espeon isn't even the weirdest thing that happened in this room is saying something.... fine then lets get it over with.''

He'd put the two Ultra Balls on the table, making sure to place the Gloom far away from Sylvia. ''There you go, good luck.''

Rabsca would later confirm that, indeed, Sylvia could now Speak Common, and was now Giant Sized. Though it didn't seem permeant - very slowly, she was decreasing back to her normal (though still big) form.

All precautions were taken care of without a problem, but the moment you Summoned Goodra (who immediately began fretting over you) the [D a r k] Ultra Ball JUMPED up on the table before furiously jostling about, as if its occupant was trying so hard but failing equally to escape. Wow nelly, what a reaction! It also tried to roll closer to Sylvia for a moment, then paused, seemingingly thinking, before rolling over to where Seddi and his squishy draco were standing by....

Your life giving beetle would have much the same reaction as the purple feline-fox - panic, uncertainty, and instant revulsion towards the [D a r k]  Entity within the Ultra Ball, but it quickly got themselves under control thanks to your training and experiences in dealing with similar beings of power. Goodra, however, seemed....confused for a moment, tilting their head this way and that at the Ultra Ball before giving Seddi a most curious look - one that looked cannily similar to a certain old sparring partner of yours when you do something to ignite their interest.

With preparations done, let's see Odd 'Mon' Seddi decides to Research first!

*Coin Flip* It's the non spooky one! Which is ironically, considering it was holding a Ghost/Fighting Type 'Wobbuffet' , or at least that is how it looked on the data screen if you squint. Waving over your phone and initiating the Research Application, you wait for a few minutes as it pulled the biometric and energy reading data, processed it, and spat out a dense document that was ROUGH around the edges and had more jargon than the military. Think crossing JAVA code and doctoral research papers together, and then have the result made by a AI that, while sophisticated, cares little of making it easily digestible. That's your job, buddy - interpreting the data and drawing conclusions thereof!

Here we go....

Research Check: Weird Wobbuffet Data Dump!
INS (3) + Knowledge (2) +S.T. (2 - the only viable Specialty that could Assist) - 4 (I'm not THAT sort of Researcher) + 2 (I've Studied Stranger) + 0 Successes (INS Malus + Hands on Experience with Strange Mons) =5D6 Dice
(3)(4)(4)(5)(5) 4 Successes!

It takes you a long time, but you're able to not only verify the Info Screen data the Ball generated for Akamu (AKA The Stat Block), but common to a few conclusions that had your and Sylvia's eyebrows raised:

1) This 'Mon' didn't belong to ANY known Egg Group - heck, it didn't share ANY genetic data with the known extent of Pokemon!
2) Its Type Energy/Special Power/Fundamental Essene was unlike anything you ever seen before. The closest thing you could compare it to were Paradoxes, Chimeric Mons (Think Clones and Mutants), and Ultra Beasts, the boogyMons of out the world
3) The Ultra Ball was not the greatest fit for holding this creature - due to its 'Ghostly' nature, however, it seemed to be able to to tolerate and adapt to its tech
4) It's 'Unburden' Ability worked differently that what is typically expressed - normal Unburden didn't effectively remove Paralysis or grant a Free Action.

From all you could gather in this brief time and with your limited Knowledge and expertise.....

That 'Wobbuffet' was not, in fact, a Wobbuffet, nor ANY kind of Pokemon. It was a creature akin to them - enough where  it could be Caught - but otherwise fell out of the entire 'family' .

What the.....?

More analysis is needed - on better equipment, by more researchers, in depth testing... - but for now you set that aside and move onto the real star of the show: The [D  a r k] Ultra Ball.

When you tried to scan it, however, the phone's screen glitched out for a moment, as if unable to handle [ w h a t ] was in there. Sylvia and Rabsca could feel the Entity's surprise - [W H A T  T H I S?  T I C K L E   F E E L  F U N N Y  ,  L I K E  S H I N Y  L I G H T ] - while Goodra started vibrating in place as they stared intensely at the Ball.

Eventually, though, the phone WAS able to process the data on whatever was in it - but a bright red *!!!* symbol appeared on your screen. Seconds later your phone started ringing and automatically accepting it - it was a Video Call from none other that Dr. Sada herself! Who, despite her unique constitution, looked rather tired and irritable - dealing with the government and setting things up must wear even her out.

".....Seddi, why have I received a report about you recording data on a Legendary Class Pokemon? *Frowns* A rather.....weak and odd one, based on what little I've gleaned so far, but....a Legendary Dragon never the less *Grumbles, rubbing forehead* You are Fortunate I've routed all reporting alerts and flags to me and have exclusive and propriety access to your research data and reports, or otherwise the local government and who know what else would be hunting you down for answers fast. So please enlighten me so I can prune this Budew problem Swiftly before it throws any Clinks into our plans."

Busted?

Oz was very much on edge when she see the woman in front of her having such...hatred oozing from her body. She was very worry things would escalate to a very problematic side. Despite her fears she was ready to face tooth and nail to defend her sisters.

But then...the fight never came. She see the woman throw the money, saying her words, and then going away. She indeed the grab, but she was still very much confused in what happened. She put the money in her bag, still extremely confused in what was happening. She pick up Bethy in her little Fox form, holding and hugging her, almost like she was ready to protect her little sister.

"I don't know what happened. But I get the feeling we escape some serious and dangerous battle sisters." Oz then look at Hecate. "Wish I could have question her more, but it's better if we not bother her again. She was already looks like scary enough. No need to press our luck more than we already did."

Oz look at Hecate and tell her. "We must be careful next time sister, but very gladly your presence was enough to make double take her decision to continue the fight. I get the feeling though we will see her again in the future."

Oz gave Bethy some strokes in her foxy head, almost like helping her get better from the pain. "You were also amazing out there Bethy. You were indeed the MVP of this battle. That Illusion sure trick the foes, and your powers also make a huge difference in the battle. You also did a amazing Hecate impression! That support moves was enough to trick the foes you think was the real deal." She turn Bethy around and then look at her pained state. "Let's go to the Pokemon Center patch those wounds and threat your other sisters. You girls really deserve some good healing."

Action: Using my last Moderate encounter to heal everyone after this fight. Since you mentioned it takes half of a moderate encounter I dont know if they will be fully heal. But if it does take half of the moderate encounter, maybe I could take some time to try make a network at the Pokemon Center since Oz is a medic in training? Also, can't help but feel curious in see the "Nurse Joy" of this place, since it does become a gag at this point every pokemon center have a Nurse Joy.

Seddi raises an eyebrow at the results of the first scan.  This may not be his exact specialty, but these are some very interesting results.  Just what did Akamu capture...?

He's hardly surprised that the Professor has a direct link to him via this program when the much more pressing reason for the secrecy is analyzed.

"Ah, Professor.  Good, we might need your expertise on this one.  You'll have to ask Akamu that question though, not me.  He's the one who captured...something.  I'm not sure what to call the critters he found, because as far as I can tell, they're not pokemon.  Or at the very least, not pokemon like we know them.  Which is weird, considering our field of study.  Lad seems to have a penchant for capturing the strangest critters imaginable."

Seddi will hand the phone to Akamu.  Time for the Alolan to meet the Professor properly!  "Alright bucko, give her the story.  And try to keep it brief and to the point."

He'd be quick to take it.

''First the Bio-Fang and now this, I'm really not making it easy for you all... Here we go, in short. I caught those.. creatures in a world not quite like ours, though they seem to be connected by *pipes* in several places. I still don't know how I ended up there by starting on the beach but I did. Catching the purple guy wasn't too bad but *this* was a catch most fortunate and accidental. A mere distraction while fighting for our lives turned into well *this* Ultra Ball loaded with extreme power, strange as it could be.''
