Iron has the right first step. The game blocks online access if you're running anything but the most recent version of the game. We do this to keep players from exploiting bugs that were later fixed in newer version.

Head into your root Pokemon Uranium Folder (Default C:\Program Files (x86)\Pokemon Uranium Team\Pokemon Uranium 1.0) and double click on Patcher.exe.

If you get an error along the lines of "Could not find Patchlist.html" That means you're using a version of the game that's too outdated for the patcher to work, in which case you can download 1.1 here https://goo.gl/tQtvyH and run the Patcher after re-installing the game to update to 1.2.1

We're currently updating our installers to reflect the most recent versions. Smile

Post back if you run into any more issues.

What bugs could be exploited online in the past? Never heard about them here on the forums....or at least not anywhere else but the bug report thread.

Zephy? You mean the buggy, incompletely coded Pokémon that almost corrupted and scrapped any save file it can into contact with? Well, I can see why you put safeguard in place then, if it prevents that dread mon's return!

In a server, vulnerabilities often allow hackers to inject all kinds of unpleasant stuff, whether it be malicious code or simply alterations of the database contents. I'm not sure what the extent of that vulnerability was, because it only happened once, but the hacker eventually came forward and described the issue to us. Turned out there was a problem with the code JV had borrowed from RelicCastle.

How can i make it so that i can make my character get on his bike with just a click of a button? i clicked to register it, but then it doesn't explain anything.

also, and i know this is something that should be really basic, but how do you post a thread? i actually forgot somehow.. can someone please give the web link to the forum too? Somehow i wasn't seeing a button anywhere to bring me to the main forum.

any help would be appreciated, thanks Smile
