you see. i've finished the main story and im currently trying to get on to the breeding and battling part of the gameplay.

i've already wasted 2 afternoons looking for duplicats that cover each stat.

problem is, im missing the defense duplicat. i havent been able to catch one. but i have plenty leftover duplicats with top IV in attack and speed. i even wonder traded some of the other i had filling my box.

now. i cant stand the grind anymore. i want to move on onto breeding. so im looking for help here in the forum. see if i can get some key species for the 3 duplicats i have sitting around on my box.

im not asking for much honestly, just a few species:

1. 31 defense IV duplicat (seriously, if you have one for spare in your box or something, im in dire need of one)
2. slothohm (i choose the tusk fossil, it doesnt  need to be top percentage, just want it for completing the dex)
3. eletux (my starter was orchynx, so i get a raptorch as reward, i need eletux to complete the dex)

those are what i require. again, the only mandatory one is the duplicat. i dont care the stats of the others. thank you for any help you can give. i hope to get more into trading and battling after this.

I could breed a Slothohm for you, though sadly since I'm not into the whole IV field, I cannot provide a Duplicat. I do however, have a near-perfect Eletux (likely a breedject, and of course the stat with less IVs has to be the Special Attack ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). It's still pretty good though.

Hello there. I certainly don't know your intention but starting your breeding career with a bunch of duplicats is not a good idea except you want to jump right into genderless breeding (which is crazy). I say this because many people read Youko's breeding guide and misunderstand the situation. It is much better and faster to start from your event pokemons (with 6IV) using breeding chain.
Otherwise, if you really need duplicats for genderless breeding, I am willing to give you one in my bank :3. Just post a random pokemon on GTS asking for a duplicat then give me the details (your ID, name, etc.) so I can help you.

okay im gonna put the duplicats in the GTS.

yeah i wanted to do the duplicats because i was following the guide. it seemed to save much more time than doing breeding chains. i dont have the event Jerbolta in this save, i have the nuclear pahar instead. so im not sure if that one can be used to breed.

so i opted to capture the duplicats. i was close to getting them all anyways. but the grind just bored me to death.

again, i only care for the duplicat having 31 IVs in defense. its the only thing i need. all the other stats dont matter.

Well, something you do is know the egg group each pokemon have. Pokemon with diferent species but with the same egg group can be breed to make work, but the chance to get a egg its a little slow. For example, Raptorch belongs to two egg groups: Monster and Dragon, and Luxi belongs to the Dragon group. So you can breed together with each other. But to make the breed egg you want you need the female species you want to have a egg with a male from the same species or same egg group. The egg groups is: Water 1, Water 2, Water 3, Mineral, Human-like, Monster, Amorphous, Bug, Mineral, Flying, Field, Fairy, Dragon, Grass and Duplicat.

Hi again xaritscin! If you are new to breeding you could visit breeders' discord to learn a thing or two from people there. They are very experienced.
I am very busy these days so can just make it short for you:
- Our goal is to finally make 5-6IV pokemons from what we have (pokemon with some perfect IVs)
- Youko mentioned catching duplicats because they can breed with any egg group, even genderless. This method is ,imo, just useful when you start from nothing in an isolated universe because catching them with perfect 1 IVs is almost as difficult as getting 6IVs perfect IVs wanted pokemons from breeding chain, not mention you must use them very wisely altogether to get 6IVs pokemons (may be never if you just use 1IV duplicats as ppl use at least 3IVs)

thanks. yes i read the guide from beginning to end. i even have some double IV pokes in the box but i was worried that it would took much more time to get breeding out of them instead of doing the duplicat thing.

anyways, they should serve me well sometimes. with that settled up i think this thread can be closed. the other mons can be gotten from GTS, no need for requests. im gonna look onto the discord.
