There are servers themed around PKMN Uranium, a few ones even specializing on different aspects (like, art or battling). They're just more or less hidden apart from the big one that's a discord partner.

I did cheat to get rare candies but only that one time cause I was wanting to do a Professor Oak Challenge and Catch all the pokemon before each gym and evolve them. I honestly had no clue about the rules mentioning no cheating.
