About defog

Defog is one of the most important strategic moves , because it removes entry hazards which are an important thing to deal with, like stealth rocks , or sticky web . In the standard competitive teams , a team without a defogger or rapid spinner is almost unplayable : SR dealt 25% damage to mons that are weak to rock , and even 50% against few mons , that are X4 weak to them. So , being able to remove them is important ; so important that become even the main role of mons , like Mantine , in a team , to be able use mons like charizard who gets hurt by SR. 
                  And in uranium ? Well... 2 pokémons can learn defog : harptera , who cans be an usable defogger , but is weak X4 to SR , and... hazma , who is... a nuclear type. And they aren't many mons that can learn rapid spin either . 

So , my suggestion would be to add a tutor who would teach defog to mons , or made the Tsukinami's status move tutor able to teach it . I think it would be a nice addition to made the metagame a bit more balanced , and to give a niche to some mons . The pokemon that would be able to learn it would be the ones in the following list : 

The mons who weren't able to learn it but would be able to learn at the move tutor's are in Bold: 

-Pahar/Palij/Pajay 
-Birbie/Aveden/Splendifowl 
-Owten/Eshouten 
-Gligar/Gliscor (that usually learn defog in the main games) 
-Unymph/Harptera 
-Hazma 
And maybe: 
-Dunseraph 
-Chicoatl/Quetzoral/Coatlith 
-Volchik/Voltasu/Yatagaryu

Honestly, I think everyone wants more Defog users in the game, as the viability of Flying, Bug, and Fire Types is severely low in this trapper environment. The fact that we don't have Rapid Spin too is also a big problem as well, for much of the same reasons. I don't like having tons of Spikes, SRs, and TS around, with no way to counter them.

Problem is, fixing/testing the game and adding finishing touches takes priority over any competitive changes. As far as I know, the online battle component is also buggy as hell for most players, with the VT about the only thing consistently usable. So, while it is certain that we will get quality of life changes like this eventually, it will take a backseat over stabilizing the game.
