Bit of an issue.

Hey there, forum. Remember this guy? Yeaaaah... it's been a while.

So, while i was absent, for about a month or so, my laptop got absolutely busted and wouldn't run anything. Now, this wouldn't be much of a problem since it was fixed, right? Well, apparently not. Uranium itself is gone from my computer along with my save file and work, so sadly i won't be able to partake in this extravaganza, nor a bunch of other things.

Damnit, this must have hurted... Didn't you backed up your save file on an external device, like an USB flash drive or an external harddrive? I mean, it's even in Cody's signature.

hey if you want I can give you some pokemon I own that's over leveled and help you get back through the game (it would be a pokemon that knows false swipes to help you catch stuff and I could put an EXP share on it to give your starter pokemon and you get to keep the EXP share and the pokemon!)

Sorry for the delay, but yes, i did save a back up folder back then.

One issue.

When i say everything got wiped, I mean EVERYTHING. the computer itself had to be rebooted, nothing i had is left. Even the user is different from what i used to have :/ . Yeah, it's THAT bad, but i think i'll manage. As for recovering anything of my old save file, i'm afraid that can't happen.

Maybe you could see this as somesort of fresh start, Azriel? That is, if it has not deprived you your egaer to do so... This time, maybe with the save file backuped on an external device in case Computer is cruel again.

Maybe i will! But i'm mostly upset that my perfect IVs and my shinies (Including my 3IV starter, which i just got randomly out of nowhere while creating a new run) and all other nice tidbits got destroyed.

Yeah, but hey, i'll manage. I mean, i once lost a nuzlocke to a self-destructing Graveler... the Monferno had the right stat spreads too... ( ._.)

This is one of the reasons why I always advocate against Nuzlock challenges. The base game does its best to RNG the crap out of you, so why give it any extra incentive or reward?
