Wow. This is also going a lot better than I had expected it to...

You impressed it by spotting them first of all, then you revealed yourself to them on purpose after successfully sneaking up on them (albeit unintentionally, but it doesn't know that), your Weavile gave it one of its favorite berries, you were completely forthright and honest in your intentions, and you didn't do anything that would piss it off. Combine that with tis playful nature and a desire to see what so special about you, and you end up with this battle. Reiner is going places, eh?

Yeah, he's certainly not your average Rocket Grunt, that's for sure.  Now, what happens after the festival is over (or midway through it?) is still completely up in the air...but any number of things could occur depending on what happens with Reiner.

There's a certain entertainment to be found in seeing what icons Google decides to give anonymous viewers of spreadsheets, documents, etc.

Like right now, I see Windos as 'Anonymous Ifrit' (which is the second one on the list in the picture) when I open the spreadsheet.  And there's all sorts of other weird ones like Ligers and stuff that have shown up as well...

Mew is now delighted to have meet you, and is looking forward to all future interaction with them. Which is both a good thing and bad thing: Divine intervention has a tendency to be bipolar...

Many have search and scrabbled to gain the attention of the great Legendary Pokémon, doing all sort of great and terrible things to achieve that goal. Some are reward for their dedication....but the way the Legends do so is often capricious, or down right cruel in attention. This is not relevant to your story right now, but its cannon in my campaign that a woman who sought out the favor of Giratina, of all Pokémon, by becoming their most devout follower succeeded, and was 'rewarded' with by being blessed by being bathed in the dragon's ghostly and distorted powers. The result gave her a remarkable power and Eternal life as their personal servant....all at the steep cost of their mind and soul fracturing under their power. Fear the favor of the Legends, for you never know what they might give you instead... You are fortunate that you and Weavile are dealing with one of the more 'grounded' and human interactive Legendaries, so count your 'blessings' indeed.

Got two music tracks in mind for this battle with Mew that's coming up:

RBY Remix of its Emerald Theme

FRLG Remix of its Emerald Theme...with a little of GSC's Kanto Wild Pokemon Theme mixed in for extra style

Narrowed it down from 5 or 6 different version's of Mew's VS theme from the games.  A couple really good ones out there, it seems.  These are just the two I liked the best.

So, preferences or other suggestions?

I like the FRLG Remix, personally, so we'll use that mate! Can't wait to figure out how to bloody well handle the fact that it has access to EVERY move in existence...

Well, technically every move.  Everything it can learn via level, everything that can be taught via TM and HM, everything that can be tutored (with the exceptions of special moves that can only be taught to specific pokemon like Draco Meteor and the elemental Hyper Beams), and everything that can be tutored specifically to it only in Pokemon XD.  The list isn't quite every move in existence (even including Metronome and Assist, since there's still moves even they can't copy), but it is most of them.  It's certainly almost all of the relevant ones.  Of course, the list shortens considerably if you remove the human based methods and Metronome...

And I have an idea for how Reiner is going to lead things off as well.  I think this is going to be a VERY interesting battle
