Okay, something went wrong with my last post, so to answer your questions briefly.
1. Yes, you can summon Spritze for Battle, but it isn't that good of an idea unless you're willing to risk the Power Loss, Protection, and leaving a bad impression on the fluffball in exchange for spilting the aggro of the rats.
2. You can draw Zephy's SPE Power, but not without consequence with her. You always have access to your PC's Base SPE, and can further increase it from the 'pool' of SPE you get from your Linked In Mons to your Gauntlet. Evocation (Pokemon Moves from the Links) can then use whatever amount of SPE Power you wish to 'cast' them on Targets ; same is true for Invocation, though that's always a risky prospect to do mid-battle. Beware the Stress to the Gauntlet at all times!

Hmm....you know, I'm willing to cut you a break and have Seddi's Healing Berries in his Inventory act as 'Held Items' just this once, due to them miraculously pressed so against his side due to Kayla SQUISH. It'll use them ALL up on him, though! Still, you avoid the Faint, can get cured of your Status, and still soldier on through the Encounter if you really want to study the Big Gloomy Dragon while they're discombobulated from the comedy that took place.

No summoning Spritzee then please. You made agreat point about why not, and I definitely don't want to leave a bad impression on the smol fluffball after it has been so amazed by Bern and his trusted Gauntlet. So that technically means that it will always be Bern's Initiative that will be rolled at the start of a fight; and in the case I'd want something to be a double battle, I'd have to summon one of my 'Mons to fight in real while Bern uses Evocation - I'll strictly reserve doing that for the most dire situations, since it's neither something I want to do (why summon a 'Mon when using spells is way cooler?!) nor is it something I can see my character doing (and if so, he would not like it or it borders to being heretical).
I'm keeping an eye on the stress level of my Gauntlet indeed - currently it's at 1/50+10, so all should be well. Definitely planning to stock up on repair items for it though, just in case, once residing at the Mageocracy.

Guys, I just got called in to pick up some slack at my job today, so I'm going AFK until later tonight. Not great, but at least I get some more money to put in my pocket!
@Dragonstrike, I'll need a decision if you want to use those Healing Berries to prevent a Faint or if you want Seddi to remove himself from the Encounter before I can progress things. At this point Akamu can easily cure Seddi of his Confusion, so don't worry about that anymore.

It worked! It's amazing it indeed work the plan! I get very worry when the battle turn a side I didn't predict, and it's working wonderfully. I get worry by Daikatuna though, but good thing things are now safe. Question is, will Bethy still be able to continue the battle or is she too out of the battle?

Also, dont forget the field is still under the effect of the enchanced Life Dew, so Bethy recover 3 HP.

Bethy is out - she fell to One HP and therefore can't come back in due to Match Rules, even with Life Dew making sure to patch her up. Its a 1v1 now, and don't count the old lady out - she's plenty capable even by herself....

She got to the One HP threshold mid battle, so she auto Lost/got recalled/pulled out.
