Larry is kinda in a strange position, now that you mention it Phantom. Due to his erratic appearance during the RP in IRL, and the fact that his chara is being 'lock out of the loop' at the moment, due to him not being present during the incident and no one is willing to explain it to him. Depending on how he reacts, it might make thing easier or harder for Vent to reintegrate with the group. Or he could somehow exaserbate issues even more.

He's sort of a wild card atm, and that both relieving and a bit scary. Which way will the wind blow him, I wonder?

The reason me and Dies are kinda down on the emotional scenes is that the drama they generate isn't always condusive to the characters getting along fine, and such conflict can halt the rails surely as someone leaving the game mid sesson. That, and player characters that end up Mary Sues or Better than Thou are boring and frustrating for other to interact with. I want to put a kibosh on that behavior, even if it means if Ventus suffer the consequences of this.

hey I was wondering if Larry can be related to a character from the games/anime example: Larry is the nephew of Steven the champion of hoenn (not the idea I have) my original idea was Tracey (if you don't know who he is google it) was Larry's dad when you said history but then I realized that vetus is in his twenties/thirties and same with Cynthia so I had to throw that out

ok I got my new idea! Larry is cousins with wait for it......... May! Larry's mom is Norman's sister *makes explosion noise with his mouth* mind blown! so Larry is always held at a high expectation as a trainer from his mom and his uncle, since his cousin is the best coordinator in hoenn and on his fathers side a strong side of gym leaders and champion until his father (who was a breeder in kanto before moving to tenno) who was one of the best breeder in kanto and tenno. Larry right now can't live up to the expectation of his uncle and mom, while trying to achieve champion to show that he is a true Dewton

With regards to said oversized cane, it was a printing consideration. If it's too narrow, it doesn't actually form properly.

@Lord Windos and @Dies Irae Am I...allowed to add my POV to this? Because... if I'm very honest, I somehow enjoyed that incident that some weird flowers have caused. Sure, I can only speak for me, but such turns and unexpected matters like this and currently a RV to deal with make an RP enjoyable for me. Same goes for emotional scenes, whether they're plaqued with positive (like Nathan trying to protect the Mankey that's been posing a threat for us) or negative (like Ventus becoming very serious about the Deyo Flowers) emotions. My character may find it hard to deal with them, but I really enjoy reading through them, imagine the scenes, and thinking out carefully how she shall react to them.

On the other hand, I understand that Ven being so, I'm sorry, nasty toward Vince and Nathan might have been a little too much, not just for Iron as our GM (you're a great one, on top of that), but for us as players as well. Noone of us could have expected such a tension within the group, least at the relative beginning. Having our Charas wipe the incident off with a simple 'I'm sorry' sounds pretty unrealistic to me, and I'm not blaming Dragonstrike and Dies Irae for having their Charas behave towars Ven the way the do. At all.

Noticed by the newer posts in Gamethread that both Vince and Nathan still interact+talk normally with Shiva, and I'm very pleased about this. Nevertheless she is on Ventus' side. Given his latest attempt of approaching Vince, she seems to be the only person he might have now. Beside his dear Pokemon of course - and Windos, I highly doubt you would want to dragg Larry into this mess. Better make Poffins, if they have the ingredients and berries inside the 'vehicle'~

Anyway, with regards to that, as long as all parties are aboard and aware, some of the best times I've had at a table myself are having players being entirely shitheads to each other in character as long as everyone stays aware of the *nudge nudge wink wink* aspect of the game.
