According to the games, encountering the Plusle-Minun-Ship in Unova only occurs very occasionally on one selected Route. And they're in the Fairy egg group and proved themselves (well, mostly Plusle...) that they can be just as nasty/mischievous as they can be. So practically, Shiva's keeping the theme of her team.

How neat, the move pool differs between them. Am I getting any XP for this Encounter as well...? Oh, and how am I supposed to cure that Paralysis on me...? Do, uhm, work Full Heals on people as well? Or maybe... Miltank?

XP is 2 for Cottonee and 1 for Shiva.

I was wondering, since one of Shiva's Pokémon knows Nasty Plot, can it possibly tutor my Togepi in it?

I'm going to say no on that one. Maybe if Shiva gets really good at teaching, enough to be considered a Move Tutor.

It seems that move acquisition is going to rather hard in this campaign. Its going to take forever to build decent move pools for Pokémon...

It'll get faster as foes get tougher and trainers get stronger.

Eventually, a Pokemon might get 8 xp per wild battle instead of 2.

Also, training rolls get really good later - imagine you are training your Pokemon in Fighting and you have Fight 3, Str 3 - you get to roll 6 dice for how many XP your Pokemon gains, every 2 or 3 trainings.

@Dies Irae , the Pokerole admins say they'd have had Machop fully able to use Karate Chop, with just a -1 penalty to accuracy.

Awww. Depends on what you see as 'decent' for a particular Pokemon. Do not fear, though! Maybe at some point we'll stumble over a TM or even a Move Tutor...
