When Nathan's finished running with Ralts and Swiftfire (and Staryu's done swimming), Nathan sees Larry has indeed come over to take him up on that offer to join his training session. After establishing that Larry wants to finally teach Bubbles the Oshawott Water Gun, Nathan calls Staryu over. "You mind helping out Bubbles here with learning how to use Water Gun, buddy? Larry could use the assistance."

Ralts, meanwhile, is still poking at the pocket the pink pearl is in.

Ventus also finds a pearl on the beach, this one worth about $1,000. A nearby swimmer comes out of the water and starts making eyes at Ventus, curling her hair around a finger and giggling at him.

After scouring the nearby beach for the hidden object, he finally found it. A small white pearl, it glimmered beautifully in the afternoon sunlight. 'With this little babble and the Stardust I collect earlier, I should be able to make quite the tidy profit on the market,' he thought, looking rather happy for his good fortune. Just as he was about to depart towards the unusual Shelder, a strapping swimer comes ashore and began to make rather suggestive gestures at him. Oh my.

"I didn't expect to find anymore treasure on while strolling around the beach, but fortune must truly favor me today to bless me with your presence. Tell me, what is your name, madam?" Ventus smoothly said, all his natural charm and affability backing up his words. He usually doesn't make a habit of flirting with others, but if this young lady is clearly interest in him, then he should return it like a gentleman he (usually) is.

"Oh, little old me? I'm Sochi! Do you like walks on the beach? Isn't the river beautiful in the springtime?"

How neat! These Hoppip were as harmless as they looked life from afar. Finally Shiva has gotten the chance to meet them first-hand after watching them fly over the sky on several occasions... She just sat there, ontop of the RV, next to Miltank, Cottonee in her lap, enjoying the Hoppis' presence and tickles. In fact, when and where would one get another chance to encounter them in their natural habitat, keepin in mind that they go wherever the wind takes them and if you originate from a big city and aren't used anything else?

Can these be petted as well...? Let's see... Shiva carefully extended one hand into direction of one selected Hoppip - and stopped halfway as she got a glimpse on what was going on at the riverbank. A wild Shellder has appeared near her Electric rodents who stared at it rather curiously and excited. Good thing it was Shiva who has type-advantage and the combination of the ability on her side.

She waved over to Plusle and Minun, drawing their attention. "Listen up, dear ones! Up for the battle? If so, Plusle - give me an electrified nuzzle and Minun - show that clmap hoe cute you can be!" ... With a slight smile that meant nothing good, she added "And don't forget that you're with one another, power up your electricity!"

"Ah, Sochi is it? I believe that means "Flame", if I am not mistaken. A fitting name, for someone of such smoldering gorgeousness such as yourself," Ventus glibly says, leaning in slightly in her direction while staring deeply in her eyes. She was very easy on the eyes, by his observations, and the feeling he was receiving from her were absolutely delightful.

"When I got the chance, I did enjoy talking down on Castilia City's beaches. While not as fine as the ones at Undella Town, they have there own certain charm to them. Now that you mention it, the river does look very fine today. The weather just perfect for some swimming, wouldn't you agree?" He says, keeping a respectful distance away. If she want to be close to him, he'll let her do it at her own pace. Wouldn't want to be rude, now would he?

"Yes! Would you like to take a leisurely wade down to a little lemonade stand I know, and maybe have a drink together? It's the only place in Creshire that sells Lemonade with a capital L, and it's so rich they only let each person have one a day!"

Plusle is Confused

A beam of high pitched sound, visible only as a line traced in the beach sand, moves out to surround Plusle. His long ears curl up in minor pain, but the real problem is how Plusle is now wandering around in circles like a Spinda, leaving a meandering trail of tiny footprints in the sand.



Shellder Round 2

"I certainly wouldn't mind sharing a drink with you, Sochi. Though you are so sweet, I'm afraid you'll spoil my appetite before we even get to the stand! Still, lead the way, my guiding flame." Offering a hand to her, he proceeded to walk with her down the beach. During that time, he made some more small talk with her, asking little detail such as 'What do you do for a living?' and 'Who's your favorite Pokémon?' Ventus also had a keen eye for the scenery, and made sure to point out the things that caught his attension.

'Finding a couple pieces of treasure, caught a new addition to my ever growing family, and about to enjoy some lemonade with a stunning woman. What a wonderful day!' he thought, completely happy and content for the moment. The stress, worry, and guilt from the other day can wait awhile; now is the time to enjoy his good fortune.
