Just took a second look at Clamperl's pokedex entries, and it can apparently make a very rare and valuable pearl once in a lifetime (usually around the time when a mature Clamperl evolves) with the ability to amplify psychic abilities. Hmmm....that's a fortunate find for Nathan if that's indeed what it is...it would certainly explain Ralts's fascination with it too.

Commanding Pokemon from the top of the RV is best. Especially if you're with a cow and a bunch of Hoppip.

Oh wait...actually, Spoink specifically carry Clamperl pearls around...how on earth they get them when they don't even live near the ocean normally, I have no idea. But that's a nifty connection I hadn't noticed before.

Nope, I specifically stated she was outside of her pokeball on that little trip. Nathan wanted to make absolutely sure she was going to be okay. And it only bugged him a little bit in the long run, despite wearing a light jacket the entire time. You all have every right to complain about the heat, if not the reasoning for it.
