[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Larry borrows a shovel and starts to digging on the RV, working by thin Pokedex light. The muck schlurps back into place as fast as he can dig it.

Initiatives
Shiva: (6) + 3 + 1 = 10
Nathan: (6) +3 +1 = 10
Weezing: (5) + 2 dex + 1 survival = 8

As Larry scrabbles in the mud, Weezing floats around and belches a fog into his face. Larry falls face down into the mud, one hand on the Pokeballs at his belt. The other still clutches a shovel. Just in front of his eyes are human footprints, bare footprints, not belonging to anyone in the party. They lead in a direction he thinks is deeper into the swamp - anyway, it's the opposite of the RV tracks.

Miltank prepares to hop down from the roof, but she comes face to face with a Koffing. Mr. Mime climbs up onto the roof with his gangly limbs to help her out.

As gung ho as they are to stop that Carnivine before it gets closer, Larry's predicament needs immediate attention.  Nathan, Ralts, and Swiftfire make a 180 and rush back to the RV!  Nathan's orders are rapid.  "Swiftfire, use Ember on Weezing!  Ralts, Confusion!  We need to take it down before it causes too much damage!  And if you get overwhelmed, fall back to me!"

Swiftfire
Order: Ember on Weezing until it faints, retreat to Nathan if Pain Penalization is -2 or -3
Accuracy:  3 Dexterity + 1 Fight + 0 Canalize = 4 D6
Damage: 2 Power + 2 Strength + 1 STAB = 5 D6
Effect: Burn 1 (1)

Ralts
Order: Confusion on Weezing until it faints, retreat to Nathan if Pain Penalization is -2 or -3
Accuracy: 3 Dexterity + 1 Fight + 0 Canalize = 4 D6

Startled by the Weezing's sudden assault, Ventus let out some rather caustic profanity, before abandoning his current quarry. 'The eggs can be cracked later; now's the time to rescue Larry- again. Its not his fault this time, but the young boy must have the luck of a Houndoom...' he though, running towards Larry's side quickly as possible. Flicking his wrist and palming Apsis Pokeball, he threw it out in front of the gas bag, summoning her right in front of the downed trainer.

Now somewhat used to being sporadically released, Apsis quickly turned on the Weezing in front of her, and let out its most threatening hisss at it. While she cares not for the collapsed trainer beside her, this noxious thing is attempting to hurt her meal provider(s). She won't stand for that at all!

Raphael was already out in the battle field, chasing Ralts after the it scrambled to exact Nathan's order's. It looked nervous to be fighting such a big, mean, Poison type, but it shook its head violently. This battle won't go like last time; they will be brave, and they will win!

"Apsis, this thing is a critical threat, and must be taken down at once. Use Glare on it, then knock it straight into the ground. If its not paralyzed on your first attempt, keep at it until it is. Keep it grounded if it tries to regain aerial mobility. I don't afford this vile creature any mobility what so ever! " Ventus calmly commanded, not letting the frantic situation get to him. He had to keep a calm head to command his Pokémon, and to make the right judgement calls.

Raphael, feeling his master's determination to take down the enemy, began to wave its arms back and forth and chanted, powering up a Metronome attack! Still, it was reading to run back to its master if it got too hurt!

Orders: Have Ekans use Glare on Weezing until its paralyzed, then repeatedly use Knockdown on it to further arrest its mobility. Togepi will use Metronome on it until either the toxic spewer is fainted, or it (Raphael) has sustained at least -2 Pain Penalization.

Glare:
Accuracy: Pool 3
DEX (1) + Fight (2) + Intimidate (0) - Accuracy (1)
Effect: Paralysis

Knockdown:
Accuracy: Pool 3
STR (1) + Fight (2) + Brawl (0)
Damage: STR + 0
Effect: Ground the opponent; opponent has to spend an action getting up

Metronome
Accuracy: Pool 3
DEX (1) + Fight (2) + Channel (0)
Damage: 1-6 (DM rolls a dice to see how much damage it does, and determine what move it is)
Effect: Random

Plusle and Minun jumped out of their owners arms as the Weezing came closer. It seemed to be...more aggressive than any Weezing Shiva saw before... Well, eh, not that she saw many of them before. Did the mist and Psychic Presence - she knew that 'there was something there', as she had stepped out of the RV, although she couldn't sort it - have something to do with this? Did the weird flowers had something to do with this?!

Seeing the rodents ready to protect their owner 'n playmate (as well as Larry himself) from the Poison, Shiva caught herself again. A little. Enough to give clear instructions, at all.

"Okay, dear ones... I appreciate your eager! Go for Nuzzle and Thunder Wave, then - don't allow that thing to come any closer to us! Please! Don't allow it to move AT ALL!"



Orders for this round: Plusle's Nuzzle and Minun's Thunder Wave if Nuzzle fails in Accuracy and Damage. If it succeeds in hurting and paralysing Weezing, Minun will use Charm instead. Or suprisingly learn and use Nuzzle on his own.
Effect: Intense electricity. Autoparalysis from Nuzzle.
Secondary Effect: Sparks will illuminate the currently dark area.  
Pain Penalization: 0 so far.
Accuracy Roll Nuzzle: 3 Dexterity (leveled up!) + 0 Fight + 0 Allure = 3 dice
Damage Roll: 3 Strenght (1 default + 2 due to Plus-Minus-ability triggered) + 0 Fight + 1 Power of move + 1 STAB = 5 dice
Additional notes: None.

Depending on how Plusle's Nuzzle rolls out:
Accuracy Roll Thunder Wave: 3 Dexterity + 0 Fight + 0 Channel = 3 dice
Effect: Paralysis.

Effect: Lowers Weezing's Strenght by 2 points.

Larry lays on the ground as he turns himself over to keep from suffocating"I.. I didn't... Know that.. He.. He.. Was... That... That *coughs* Close" Larry says trying to keep from breathing the fumes. Larrys life then flashed before his eyes "I.. I.. Achieved... No.. *inhales* Nothing... Ha.. Ha.. Haven't I..." Larry said as he grabs a pokeball "*coughs* G.. Go.. Bubbles.." As Larry threw the ball with what strength he had. "get... Some.. One... To get... Me.." Larry says as he starts to close his eyes.

Order: Oshawott will Get tramp, belle, Shiva, Nathan, or vetus

This might be a short one, there are so many of you! But Weezing is tough.


Weezing Round 01

The foul cloud of Ventus' cursing mixes with Weezing's deadly gas, but Weezing is the bigger gasbag than the lecturer.

Nuzzle - Plusle

Dmg: 5 dice, -4 vitality!

No damage, but Weezing is Paralyzed. The sparks play in the plasma/gas of Weezing's aura, illuminating the area with ghostlights of purple and electric blue.

Nuzzle - Minun

To Shiva's surprise, Minun also performs a Nuzzle! The two tightly bonded Pokemon leap on Weezing and attempt to bear it to the ground, zapping it repeatedly with angry little expressions on their faces.

Ember

Ponyta's attack adds to the corona around Weezing, but if anything this just makes it angrier. The Pokemon is lazy in its anger, bellowing and rolling around in the air, slowly, to face each threat. Its eyes stay lidded and dim.

Weezing opens its mouth extremely wide, and there is another loud BANG as poisonous smoke rolls out of the Pokemon with great force. The electric Pokemon begin coughing immediately; stubby Togepi catches a vile whiff. All the other Pokemon are forced to retreat from the smog cloud - all except Ekans, who goes barreling in to play Pinata with Weezing.

Poison Gas
Acc: 0 Dex + 3 Fight +2 Canalize = 5 dice, -1 accuracy for the move

Effect:
Plusle, Minun, and Togepi are poisoned.

Out of the smoke come two golden eyes, barreling straight toward Weezing. Ekans doesn't weigh enough or have enough force to bring Weezing to the ground...

...but Weezing goes spinning, lopsidedly. A -1 accuracy penalty will apply to Weezing on its next turn, then cease unless it is reapplied. Also Weezing can't move around much in this state unless the wind happens to pull it there.

Metronome

Dmg: (1)
Togepi waggles its fingers excitedly, and rises into the air! Then purple smoke starts pouring out of his ears, mouth and nostrils! Togepi is delighted, but the move doesn't affect Weezing at all, who is too busy spinning to notice how strange this was.
Togepi lands again. (When I saw it was 0 damage, I made up this particular effect to explain why it didn't hurt Weezing).

Oshawott Oshawott scampers up to the RV, where another pitched battle is occurring on the roof. He flips up onto Miltank's back and lands gracefully there. He whispers in Miltank's ear.

String Shot
Abeja crawls cheerfully through the smoke around Larry and fires a web at the spinning Weezing.
Acc: 2 Dex, -1 move accuracy

Koffing's dexterity is now 1. Ventus moves up in the initiative order.

Poison
No one's Vitality is over 2, so everyone can have a luck dice to resist poison.

Plusle, Minun, and Togepi take 1 damage.

Presumably Ekans and Togepi will continue doing what they're doing. What about everyone else?

(Dragonstrike gave conditional orders for Ponyta and Ralts to keep attacking until they reach -2 or -3 pain penalization. Larry's acting as if he's unconscious right now, so his Oshowatt could be auto'd by you. Phantom went to bed a couple of hours ago, so I don't expect her to be on until tomarrow, and we still have not heard anything from Dies. That's all the info I have on the players right now, mate.)
