I COULD, but I don't want to. It would leave me only with one Will Point left, given I already spend one in despair during Nurse Joy battle... Better save them for 'real' emergencies!

Hey Iron, don't people regenerate 1 Will Point per day, until they cap at 3? They can go above it if they do something note worthy in game, but I thought people and pokemon get Will back eventually?

No, they are intended to be a scarce resource.

Yep, you got the highest result, so you react the fastest. The +5 is from your stats, in this case, your Dexterity plus your Survival. The total of those and 1 D6 roll is your Initiative.
