Three words: No, you fool! At best, Valder or I will catch it, since we have the most Pokeballs, at worst we are killing it along with the rest of the hand (Last resort, Dragonstrike). I will certainly start bidding XP to stop you doing something so reckless!

The reason Ventus is so Blaise about killing wild Pokémon is that 1) He thinks [and justifies] slaying them as doing what other wild Pokémon would do and 2) To feed his Ekans to bond closer to it/provide for it properly. He has reasons for doing the things he's doing, and I don't think Larry has them. Or really allude to any reason why he would build up to said reasons, besides dysfunctional family problems (which is something Ventus normally empathize with...if Larry wasn't trouble prone in every sense of the word).

Yeah, what Windos said.  Though I'll add on that even killing the combee could have consequences (like what Nathan has been saying so far), and killing the queen would DEFINITELY have consequences.  Remember, Zamboni said 'negotiations first.'

Killing stuff is something that is not to be taken lightly.  If you want to kill something, you better have a dang good reason for it besides 'I did it because I could/felt like it.'  Tabletop RP isn't as friendly as the pokemon games usually are, but it's not like those videogames where you kill enemies left and right without a second thought for anything, even your own safety, either.

Also, I'd like to point out that even catching the queen will cause some serious problems.  And even if you DO manage to somehow do it, the species has a disobedience score of FOUR, and we're in the middle of a hive full of angry bees trying to defend their queen from a potential killer.  If the Vespiqueen is captured, that amounts to the equivalent of a royal kidnapping.  You'd be better off snagging a female combee and raising it, though you'd likely only find those close to the queen, and it could cause equally as many problems since female combee are so rare.

well I guess Larry cant get away with team rocket style stuff. (I would have ransomed the vespqueen for their honey!) well I wont kill ekans (not yet at least) but the combee or vespqueen are on my list of next catch

EDIT: I can see the group nearing an end in the near future with: Vetus, and Shiva going as their own group, Nathan will join Vincent with his trip around a mountain, Larry going to jail and being recruited in to an evil team or going on a journey with Rachel or leaving the region to travel with May

EDITEDIT: I forgot Valder lol I think he would go with some one he has been around the most or (Vetus or Larry, Nathan and Shiva are most likely a no) just go his own way

I'm keeping myself out of this issue, since 1. I'm not involved into this Encounter anyway and 2. it's a thing between you people. One thing though, I'd appreciate if someone who could handle a Vespiqueen would catch it, if catching it at all.

Larry can persuaded the combees with his kaukna so no war needed in Larry's great plan and Larry is very fond to bug types (he has 2 out of 4 in his team)

We all know you're fond of Bug Types. That's absolutely fine. But, this doesn't give you the right to catch, nor the capability to handle an enourmous enraged Queen Bee! Show some insight.

I never said in that sentence that I was going to lie to the combee and vespqueen then catch the queen and run leaving everyone to die I said I would negotiate with the queen and see if they would leave and if not Larry will catch vespqueen and kill all the combee with his trusty ekans and kakuna and then force them to surrender to my might or the queen gets it or the real idea is we all run to the hills screaming while Larry grabs a female combee and catches it in a illegal way (Larry wants a vespqueen for his kakuna that will be a beedrill eventually)

Get a female combee, then. And do an actual good job of raising it, so that it doesn't want to kill you by the time it evolves. And please don't sell us out. Ventus doesn't like traitors at all, and he'll make you regret your actions real quick...
