Well really, a guy with a knife is gonna get wrecked by 90% of Pokemon. But you never know when you'll be tied up, or someone evil will turn their back to you, or a maniac with a Dragonite demand someone cut up his Ranc Berry.

Who says he was going to use it straight up on Pokémon? Or that he wouldn't wait until they were weaken/knocked out before cutting to the point? Or he wouldn't have two Pokémon running interference for him? Venuts is not the type of person to make a move unless it for the good of the group, or he's sure that he can get results from it. I did say he wasn't going to use that knife willy nilly, right?

Right, but most people in the world possess a Pokemon. So yeah the knife is mostly good for surprises.

That what its going to be used for, mostly. If all things go well, Ventus might never have to use it at all! If things do not turn out well...then he has all the tools he needs to make it better.

Oh, @ Iron, I hope the solution I made up to prevent Ventus from being suspicious on her is acceptable. I did not gave any details, only said that it has to do with the Daycare.
