Oh, @Iron, I hope the solution I made up to prevent Ventus from being suspicious on her is acceptable. I did not gave any details, only said that it has to do with the Daycare.

If you didn't want him to be suspicious, you should have told Nathan instead, and kept Ventus the dark. He's going to be SUPER suspicious of Shiva's activity for now on, but he won't show and/or talk about. Until such a time she revels the info, he's going to be both watchful and worried about her future actions....

And now on top of Ventus being suspicious because Shiva told him not to worry, now Shiva will have a nervous Nathan whose Ralts is likely to be picking up that Shiva's hiding something from him.  Plenty of cause for him to worry, as well...

Well really, a guy with a knife is gonna get wrecked by 90% of Pokemon. But you never know when you'll be tied up, or someone evil will turn their back to you, or a maniac with a Dragonite demand someone cut up his Ranc Berry.

can Larry carry around a pistol if Vetus gets a knife? (its a joke though if Larry and Vetus got in to a fight Larry would still have the advantage without the gun(you know Larrys weapon of chose is his frying pan that could be his dying pan))

Larry has a crimmial backround of stealing stuff from stores and whatnot since his mother cant provide all the time (basically Larry's family is broke and his mom has an illness that makes her not able to work so Larry tries to provide, Larry will tell Rachel so I want someone else to hear that so that they know why he is about to steal something(stop him!))

As long as Ven does not harass her to give any information, she wil be...fine. She does NOT want to threat the Mission. Nor having Ven getting any wrong ideas and cause him to dig into the matter and the cause of her 'suspicious' emotional state. Him being worried and discretely watchful only showes that he cares for her well-being~

Ventus is a gentleman of his word: What he says, he means it. Won't stop him forming his own thoughts and emotions on the matter, but it will force him to keep it between the two of them. Her secret is safe with him, as long as the party is safe as well. Lets hope nothing happens that might change that...

(...) given she had no idea what to do with an exemplar of these coins, after all she does not wish to battle in the Gym. Maybe...she could trade it for a good item... But that way she would loose the coin itself... But maybe the Leader would be up for a...casual battle for training?

@Iron, would he after his battle with Ventus? As said, aim would be training and having her Pokemon experience what it is like to face an opponent that understands his business in a secures area ( = Gymn with Nurse Joy nearby) instead of actually battling for a Badge. Also trying out what Abra can do. A Double Batte with 2 Pokemon on each side would be prefered by me, agains two of Zamboni's Water/Ice types (if he has more of that than Spheal).

I'd be fine to have it rolled out while Ventus has his battle, so that we all can move on to the next in-game day together one these battles are wrapped up! But for now, I'll be heading to bed.

The Leader is far too important and busy for casual battles (thus the reason for implementing CarnyCoins in the first place), but there are plenty of ice trainers you could fight. Nurse Joy would be there.
