[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Tackle normally has 6 dice for Porygon, then 3 vitality. Then Porygon lost STAB, so his damage decreased by 1. But he should have had one more dice!

If you change type with Conversion 2, you lose STAB on Tackle.  You could change back with Conversion, if you wanted. Though I guess it's a little late, now...

Wait, I thought we did away with the rule that said Pain Penalization affected damage? Or at least agreed not to use it? If I remember correctly, Dies pointed this out earlier in the meta thread...

Pain penalization has nothing to do with it.

However, I did go back and add the extra damage dice, which was a success, so that makes a small positive difference!

Eh, I'll take what I can get. Can you explain how you can remove damage from a attack move?

Wait crap, I was right the first time. Tackle has 5 dice:

2 Str + 2 power +1 STAB.
Glaceon has 3 vitality, so that leaves 2 dice.

Then Conversion 2 brings it back down to 1 dice.

Oh well, let it ride.

You forgot about the boost from download as well, so that does bring it back to 2 dice.

Oh, I had an interesting thought. Since Larry know technology well enough to make new programs for the Pokedex, is it actually possible for him to make software that makes it easier for Porygon to hit Pokémon (Increasing its Accuracy Pool, in jest)? The Pokémon literally is data made manifest in the world, so...

Awesome!  Battle noob Porygon, go!

And thinking about it, I wouldn't be surprised if most Porygon are like that to begin with.  How many of them have actually gotten the chance to use Conversion in a battle in the first place if they're all prizes for winning games?

Porygon might also change colors to reflect its new type.  It would be a good explanation for the whole changing colors thing I did earlier Tongue Just with more practical application this time.
