Pinsir doesn't release Princess, but he stops squeezing. He also floats into the air above Nathan's reach, though a Pokeball should still work. The voice from the trees says "Oh, are these your Combee? Well, why don't you have that male bring me two barrels of honey, or the princess here gets it! Recall her, and Pinsir will deal with you personally!"

Nathan's response is nothing but calm. That, and a little bit of passive aggressive tone. "Look, I'm sorry I had them attack pinsir. It looked like a wild one since you're nowhere near it and it was consuming the honey it was collecting. It gave the combee quite a fright, as well as me! I'll not tolerate threats, though. Did you see what they did to Pinsir? You don't have as much leverage here as you'd like to think. Now, come on out and we can talk about this respectfully. Or we can continue fighting over something neither of us intended to. Zippy, Princess. If he orders Pinsir to keep attacking, resume spamming gust."

Orders: Keep gusting if Pinsir gets orders to attack. Otherwise, talk this out with the other trainer.

"I'm not an unreasonable person, but if you won't even order your Combee to help me out, then I'll just have to take them for myself! Pinsir, finish off that Combee with a Vice Grip!"

Still talking in a passive aggressive tone. "That's why I wished to talk about it. You sure you've had enough? Because you just made a grave error continuing this without even stopping to talk about how we might resolve it. Kirlia, use Confusion if Zippy misses." Nathan recalls Princess, and Zippy is furious at that Pinsir and will continue to Gust (just the once this time, though, since Pinsir is at 1 HP!

Orders: Finish Pinsir off. Zippy isn't holding back, though! Maybe the trainer will be more reasonable if Pinsir gets KOed.

Nathan is very clearly angry now, but his voice remains calm.  Kirlia is too.  "I have more as well.  I highly recommend you stop while you're still able to walk away from this.  I don't take kindly to bullies.  And you've threatened both me and my pokemon.  You'll be lucky if I don't report you to the League.  You forfeited all chance at a peaceful negotiation the moment you continued attacking.  I was willing to help you, but you attacked instead of stopping to listen.  I never said I wouldn't help initially.

"If you insist on continuing this folly, I will report your actions to the League.  You could lose your trainer license because of it.  And that means no more gym challenges for you.  Walk away now, and I might be gracious enough to overlook it this time.

"Don't let up if he continues, Swiftfire.  Kirlia, behind me, same thing.  I'm not afraid of this bug, and I'll defend myself if it decides to get too close."
