Well, taking Lethal damage might, for starters. Those injuries aren't life threatening for nothing. Receive an injury that cripples your movement? There goes Dexterity or Strength. Lose an eye? Insight might go down. Raked by Skuntank's poisonous claws? Might harm your Vitality. Of course, that would probably only affect the trainer in the end, and leave the stats unaltered for the pokemon. And Lethal damage doesn't always have to be crippling, either. Well, unless you specifically command a pokemon to use a Lethal move on a particular area and score enough successes to hit it...
To actually lose experience value outright though would probably have to be supernatural or divine influence (or time travel shenanigans). Not something to be taken lightly. Fun fact: Ventus used to have 3 STR, 2 DEX, and 4 VIT before his run in with Skunktank. Given the toxins screwing with his bodily function and the sheer amount of damage and surgery he was subjected to, everything but Insight got a massive drop. He's only now beginning to recover from that encounter, as his journey through Cheshire turns out to be extremely good Physical therapy for him! Of course, he still needs to stretch regularly and not overwork himself, or he could collapse again...

Well, I guess it makes a lot of sense considering his field work background, so...and if he hasn't really raised pokemon before, that's probably why it uses the 'new' stats as opposed to the 'old' ones, since the pokemon aren't familiar with that old strength.

If he collapses again, Shiva won't be happy with you! It would show that he did not learn a thing from the last time. (Of course she will nevertheless help you if she's around by chance)

Didn't we establish that you have to intentionally attack an unconscious target in order to do lethal damage at all? (Unless the GM says otherwise, like with the Weezing Self Destruction)

He won't do anything so reckless again, not unless its absolutely necessary. Despite his bravado, he does know his own limits, and only pushes them if he really has too.
Oh, and are you going to change up any of your moves/orders for your mice, now that Iron has curtailed the round early (Probably to wait for Sage to make another action)? Only thing that changed for Ventus is that Lethal Damage is now a viable option in his book, given the bug's tenacity.
Also, shouldn't the Pinsir take even more damage from Nuzzle, since it was recently drenched in water?

What I tried to convey was that if Sage's character's Pokemon knocks Pinsir out before Apsis gets a chance to attack, she won't stop her action for the round. If Pinsir has 0 HP when its time for Apsis Ice Fang, it will take Lethal Damage unless Iron stops the fight righ at that moment to see if I change my orders.
Essentially, if the opportunity presents itself, she's going to inflict Lethal Damage on it. If not, she'll just do regular damage instead (Or miss, damnit...)

Right! @ Iron, you already added 1 dice on the Accuracy Roll for Thunder Wave on the Wizard, do it should work on Pinsir as well!

Ahhh. Then no bonus for the electricity-on-water-combo.

Read something in the rule book on Page 368 that said that while Stat increase moves don't stack, nor do they stack with items that increases stats, a stat increase move can stack with abilities that increase stats. So Nasty Plot + Minus/Plus being trigger would give a strength boost of 4, instead of just 2.
