[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

*Battle Time, after everyone begins to return to the town!*

Spotting a low hanging Wurmple on a branch, Ventus smiled for a bit, before he flicked his wrist and obtained Raphael's Pokeball. Another flick, and his little angel was out in the forest, and they were soon distracted by the fallen leaves. Seeing his Togepi playing in the leaves was a charming site indeed, but they had a job to do now. Coughing politely to get Raphael attention, Ven pointed to the caterpillar on the tree branch. Perking up immedianlty at the chance to prove itself once more, they let out a massive Yawn at the bug, before waving its arms back and forth mystically!

Order: Have Raphael use Yawn then Metronome in the same round. If they don't land Yawn this round, they will keep trying to land it every round after the first until the Wurmple is asleep. The goal is to get it Sleeped and at some level of pain, before Ventus throws one of his Pokeballs at it. Raphael, after inflicting some damage on the bug and inflict SLP on it, will focus on dodging its blows.

Effect: Puts target to sleep after one round has passed.

Carefully, she put the collected herbs into a small glassware she carried with her for exactly such cases. Glass protects the herbs from loosing their hidden powers. She still didn't know what use they will have, or what kinds they actually are... But she was sure she'll find out.

Oh, and OF COURSE she'll keep that book tightly to herself. To study it at some later point.

Shiva consults her book, and finds that there ought to be a mystical fire type somewhere way east of town. It's pretty far away, and it would be nightfall when she arrived.

(Currently on the road right now on someone else's phone, so just auto my character until I say so. Priority is getting cash from both jobs, then meet up with Nathan and update him.)

While Ventus was busy battling and catching a Wumple for the sake of the job, Shiva rummaged a little though the book she... 'lent' from the Healer. It was pretty interesting... Not exactly what she thought she'd find, but interesting and overall usefull indeed... She had the feeling that Ventus might not like it, though.

Usually she'd do such calculations at home, in all peace... But now that they were here anyway... And... If she's not mistaken and the book does not lie, there must be something of her interest east of town. Not exactly nearby though. It was late already... But this could be a unique chance... And they were near town anyway, she has her cell in case and none of her Pokemon suffered damage...

She longed to investigate...

Nathan, meanwhile, is working with Nurse joy to make sure Pinsir is getting proper treatment in a secure room while they wait. The bug was really roughed up, and not having its pokeball made healing it a bit more complex. 'Slightly wet, constriction marks, scorched shell...good grief...what did they do to this poor thing? It's not in much better shape than Princess...'

You don't make it back to town. Along the way, a contingent of seven officers, led by the Chief Ranger, arrive. They signal to Ventus and Sage, and say "We'd like to ask the two of you some questions. One of you come with me and the other can go with Officer Jenny, please. The rest of you, please wait on the path."

They have Growlithes and Spinaraks out, and more Pokeballs on their belts.

You don't make it back to town. Along the way, a contingent of seven officers, led by the Chief Ranger, arrive. They signal to Ventus and Sage, and say "We'd like to ask the two of you some questions. One of you come with me and the other can go with Officer Jenny, please. The rest of you, please wait on the path."

Giving the Ranger Chief a slight smile, he nodded to them politely. He didn't expect to meet the local authorities so soon, but it appears that Reshirim has decided for them to pay an early visit. 'Hmm...I am not quite sure why a squad of officer came out here this far searching for us, but if I had make a hypothesis, Nathan has a hand in this. While this is no trouble to me, as I was going to seek them out eventually, Sage will have a far harder time keeping the Pinsirite if that is his plan. Oh well; I offered him advice, but I never said I would support him in that endeavor,' Ventus though, his face belaying none of the thoughts passing through his mind, no showing that he was nothing more than a weary traveler.

"Salutation, Ranger! I am glad to see you, as while I am certainly capable of tending to my own business, as you can clearly tell," Ven said, making gestures over his sodden, tired person, "...I am not at my zenith after my treck in the forest. I assume you are here to question us about our encounter with the Mega-Pinsir's trainer, correct? Well, I would be more than delighted to come with you Chief, and answer any all your possible questions, if I am able to. Is that acceptable...?" Ventus says, trailing off slightly as a subtle way to bring up the fact that he is unaware of the officer's name. It would be rude, and more importantly not the right time, to ask their name directly, so he hoped that they picked up the hint.
