[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Little Unovian Electric-Spider...
The dice let me acquire four Pokemon and brought a victory against Lapras by letting Ice Shard miss twice in a row, so there's that.

If there's a Joltik in the area, he'd greatly appreciate obtaining it.  That M-Pinsir kind showed him just how vulnerable his team is to flying types, which is why I was rather worried about that Wingull.

Unless Illuminate attracts a Drilbur or Numel, Ventus is just going to stick either scooping up that Trainer's Item, or going to have a double or nothing battle with the bros if he has too. Getting an electric or Rock type would solve your Flying type problems, but having a Joltik would be an aforable addition to your team!

Yeah, I concluded Galvantula would be quickest to obtain, Ampharos would be ideal, and Zebstrika would be fun but difficult.  I need something for electric as well as flying, and rock types are a little risky against a M-Pinsir (though it's a half decent trade off).

Alolan Golem would be a nice middle ground, but good luck finding one of those for trade.  Normal Golem would be interesting too, but Nathan would probably just try to recruit that follower Geodude in that case.  (I have the perfect nickname for him though if an opportunity arises)

Lol Nathan's debt with Riff and Raff is just "a birthday present" if he loses. He risks very little.

Nathan, I corrected Kirlia's HP with Water Absorb after rolling an Insight check to see if Riff and Raff would have the presence of mind to correct Wingull's attack away from the Pokemon with Trace. It can be tough to know what a Pokemon has traced, but you know it has to be one of Water Absorb or Sap Sipper, and there's usually some kind of visual cue, like Kirlia turning a shade bluer. Anyway, they missed it so enjoy your free 3HP swing.

I do still need new orders from you on account of Blitzle being sent out. If you already gave such an order you can just link me to the post, I might have missed it in haste.

Yeah, I was waiting on that potential ability activation first.  Let's say this next post is going to be...interesting.  I'll have the orders ready in a moment.

Birthday gift are no laughing matter. I've spent well over a couple hundred bucks on presents for my family members to make sure they get something nice, so its possible the boys wants something extravagant as well. Given the amount of prize money they are offering, I figured they want something nice as well, given the risk. Then again, they are related to a business giants, so that much money might be trifiling to them...

All the more reason to be worried, in my opinion! I remember wanting quite a lot of goodies when I was little, and while the individual purchases where minor in cost, they added up quickly in the long run. The boys could want something similarly minor...or just ask for something approach a Pearl's value. It's up to Iron, ultimately, though.

Bulbasaur's Happiness and Loyalty will be 0, but they may grow quickly if you treat the egg well. And if any trainer knows how to raise an Egg, it's probably Sage. Disobedience is 0, for Bulbasaur is the easiest to raise of the starters.

Wow, that smarts.

Sage is apparently a better breeder than both Shiva and Nathan...

Did not expect that...
