Birthday gift are no laughing matter. I've spent well over a couple hundred bucks on presents for my family members to make sure they get something nice, so its possible the boys wants something extravagant as well.

You're so generous, my dear~
They're just kids, though.

All the more reason to be worried, in my opinion! I remember wanting quite a lot of goodies when I was little, and while the individual purchases where minor in cost, they added up quickly in the long run. The boys could want something similarly minor...or just ask for something approach a Pearl's value. It's up to Iron, ultimately, though.
I can confirm that lots of random, inexpensive stuff racks up in cost WAY too quickly.

I speak from experience.  Recent experience, too.  It was stuff for myself, but man, it adds up so fast...

Bulbasaur's Happiness and Loyalty will be 0, but they may grow quickly if you treat the egg well. And if any trainer knows how to raise an Egg, it's probably Sage. Disobedience is 0, for Bulbasaur is the easiest to raise of the starters.

Wow, that smarts.

Sage is apparently a better breeder than both Shiva and Nathan...

Did not expect that...

Noticed that as well, but I've been getting hints that this guy's, despite his medication, is more of a naturalist than anyone besides Valder is in the party. Either that, or he's raised a Pokémon from eggs before, like Ventus did with Raphael. Don't know just how much experience he's got in the matter, though, but it will certainly interesting to find out.

Only concern I have is not with Sage's character, or even Sage himself, but it's that he's been incredibly silent thus far. I don't think I've spotted them ever commenting in the meta thread, and they keep their posts brief and to the point in the game thread, so its very hard to get a read on them and what they want to do. Somewhat baffling, but not overly concerning to me atm. Radio silence is just fine, so long as it doesn't interfere with gameplay progression. I just worry that it will be hard to hold a conversation with them, when the time comes for Nathan and Ventus to start really question their chara....
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Sage told me he'd become less busy after July 4th weekend or thereabouts.

Yeah, that's my main concern too.  It's fine that he's here to play (and it's somewhat consistent), but it'd be nice to see a bit more of him...

A yellow pokemon by a street lamp? Hmmm...sounds like a Joltik to me. Dibs on that one!

...Okay, you got me interested in that Dragonair statuette, @Iron. Is it fine that I change to that encounter now instead of Trainer's items, or is it too late for me already? I don't mind if I pick up the Trainer Items, but anything about Dragons greatly interests my character...

Yes, you can change anytime up until the final person declares encounters, and I post about it.

Goodie! That Dragonair statue is like catnip to me, mate, and I want to get Ventus' paws at it right away! That, and read what's on the pot to began with.

Wow, those yellow pokemon could be a lot of different things...Joltik, Tricwe, maybe Pikachu, shiny Caterpie, Shiny Shelmet, Cyndaquil, Drowzee, Psyduck, Kinetmunk, Dunsparce, Jerbolta, Numel, Combee, Helioptile, Cutiefly...and that's probably not even the full list of possibilities. Or it overshoots the number of possibilities entirely with its generality.

@Iron
Next time you take a look at my character sheet, I've added a new section under the pokedex tab specifically for what Nathan might know of Tandor pokemon. Which isn't much aside from descriptions of their appearance for the most part, but...anyways, feel free to check that out, and let me know if any changes need to be made to that! (or if we add new columns to it concerning various specifics, like how the pokemon evolves and such)

It's a simple puzzle but it sounded fun to me!
