If anyone acquires a Pokemon who loses HP upon evolving, or doesn't gain any, let me know and I'll probably let you raise it by 1 instead. That's sort of a counter to me eliminating Vitality. Disobedience is a good reason to stop evolution though (and a good reason to have a Pokedex or an Everstone!)

@Nylon you did not lose a Will point because you didn't sleep in town. And Froakie didn't start with any XP.

I wonder what the other rituals are like for summoning weather like Harsh Sunlight, or Sandstorms!

Considering that one of my wishlist Pokémon is Drilbur, weather control will sorta be a tactic I will employ eventually as well! I mean, Sandstorm boost the Defense of Corsola, and gives either a DEX or STAB bonus to the mole depending on its ability!

Just a quick note, @PhantomUnderYourDesk: Nathan might be willing to help Shiva out with paying for the Breeder's License. Of course, she needs to be aware that it exists and what it allows, first of all...

He might be somewhat uncomfortable around Shiva lately, but he still does want to foster a friendship if he can (maybe talking about pokemon breeding would help bridge the gap? He might not be a breeder, but he does know a few things still). Plus, he wants to see what hatches from that egg too!

As for Nathan's tactics...well, he's still mostly straightforward when it comes to battling. Grid is probably going to be his most tricksy pokemon, what with all the Dexterity manipulating shenanigans that are going to happen in almost any battle the spider is involved in. Thunder Wave, Electroweb, String Shot, Sticky Web, Electro Ball, Agility...a lot of Dexterity shenanigans from him with Swiftfire and Porygon, really. Straight up stat manipulation seem to be his preferred buff of choice, thinking about it...

I decided I'd like to have @Iron stumble me over the existence of a thing called "Breeder's Lisence", maybe have it mentioned by a NPC or while lurking around in a library?

As for friendship with Nathan, she's all open and happy to build up a pleasnt relationship!~ As long as she gets the feeling that he is not cornering her about, say, why Ralts evolved and stuff. But bringing up a common interest might indeed break the ice and open doors that were closed for her own and the Secret Mission's safety.

But bringing up a common interest might indeed break the ice and open doors that were closed for her own and the Secret Mission's safety.

Well, what if Shiva were to, say, have the usual Breeder complaint of not having enough room in the party for the eggs she was hatching, and it came up in that hypothetical breeder conversation with Nathan?

As mentioned before, Nathan does know of them, and that would be a convenient way to stumble across it, as well as potentially procure Nathan's help with affording it (if desired)

The trick would be starting that conversation...

Ventus looked taken aback by her statement, and one could see the faintest of blush on his checks if they right in his face. Still, he managed to smoothly recover, saying : "What is there to say, but that its a piece of sea glass? As for my opinion on purchasing it... I believe its best that you save your money for the time being. I remember you wanted to have a breeder's license so that you could have black spotted egg with you, along with the rest of your team. Having you full team on hand would AND being able to care for the egg simultaneously is a great boon, and it could be helpful if we pick up any more Pokémon eggs in the future. Ultimately, its your choice, Shiva, but that is my advice on this matter."

Might want to edit that, Windos.  Shiva doesn't know about the Breeder's License yet.  Not sure if Ventus would either, since we were speculating it might be something unique to Creshire when it first came up (hence why Nathan knows of it and mentioned it once).

However, Shiva's pain of being forced to decide between having Helios or Fennekin in her team - she loves both of them equally as companions... - is real, so I might just have her voice this when Nathan's around. ^-^
