I'm proud of Azu. <3

You allowed me to stack Plus/Minus-ability to stack with Nasty Plot, remember?

That's under what we know is allowed to stack, though, since that's an ability with something else.  Everything else doesn't, I guess.

Considering Burns don't lower attack in pokerole, it's probably for the best, too.

Oh, you wish to battle me? She won't deny, but you'd have to convince her of a friendly battle first.

Yeah, Nathan isn't quite sure how to break the ice, but a battle just might do it...he can wait until after that private talk with Ventus is done, though.

Out of curiosity, you got any themes in mind for a battle with Shiva?

If its possible, I would actually like Nathan to run Michael through the wringer either now or some time in the near future, so to speak. Have him face off against Kirlia, Ponyta, Skippy, and Porygon all alone (with breaks in between each fight, of course), so that both he learn humility (when the inevitably mulch him) and how get his ego within acceptable levels without it controlling him. My character development of him has kinda caused him to become the stereotypical swagger macho dude, when I originally wanted him to be more along the lines of the Martial Artist me and Nathan recently fought: Passonate and strong, but clearly not letting it get to his head, and having some form of code or goal to follow.

It would also be good practice for him to learn how to fight against his other type advantages, both its current ones and in the future! I'm just wondering if such a gauntlet would count as an extreme form of training session for him, you know, and whether or not that would carry any bonus attached to it...

Yeah, that would mulch him pretty hard.  Kirlia has the Clamperl Pearl, Swiftfire would burn him to a crisp he'd have to rely on strikes, luck, and statuses to even have a chance), he basically can't touch Zippy/Princess, period (same deal as with Swiftfire, too, but more extreme), and Porygon is just a beast even without a boosting item.

Grid is another option too, seeing as he's a bug as well.

Sure thing! This is going to be interesting. She's in a positive delighted mood if you'd ask inside Dojo, so politly ask if she'd be up for a friendly battle and expressing why you wish for a battle against her will do the job~ She'd prefer a Double Battle, 5vs5 maybe? An egg cannot fight after all. We'd have to give Iton orders for our Pojemon via private message then I guess.

As for a theme for her battles - I'll look into one.

Yep, that basically the point. If I made my Pokémon into an egotistical macho man, I dang well want to correct that folly, and what better way than some training from hell? Essentially he'd do his best against your Pokémon, fail either miserably or valiantly, and gain some valuable experience in the process, all under the guise of toughening him up for the future ahead! It will also encourage him to take on a more...resolute/toughened mindset, rather than just DETERMINATION!

Sound like a plan, @Dragonstrike? It would be good XP for all your Pokémon, and I hope that Iron gives some XP to Michael as well, so win win?

Certainly!  Nathan will be more than willing to help.

Though it might have to be saved for a later day.  That kind of training is probably going to take an entire day due to the amount of resting that's going to have to be done in between battles.  Or maybe half or a third of a day if we're using a Center to heal in between.

Michael will probably also end up getting more out of it overall than any one of Nathan's pokemon, since all the exp he gained would be pooled into a single pile, as opposed to four or five.

Well, since I THINK the whole group is going to camp out in the woods for a couple of days, that would be the perfect time for that short of training for the both of our 'mons! It would also give your and my chara plenty of time to make a battle plan for the gym leader, so that's a bonus as well (on top of regaining some lost Will Points!)!

@PhantomUnderYourDesk : Darling, what motivated you to tell Ventus about the creature that has been visiting her in the night? You know how much he cares about his friend's wellbeing, your chara's in particular! If your plan was to get his assistance in capturing it, that backfired spectacularly! If he EVER gets his hands on the Pokémon that has been causing an entire community to become apathetic and miserable, he going to KILL it, or capture it himself, take it to a secluded location, then kill! Ven does not tolerate any threats towards his group, especially towards Shiva!

I know, yeah... But he started with mentioning being sleepless... Felt only natural that she'd bring up as well what she is experiencing in Corsage concerning sleep at night. Doing so to Ventus though, might have been a little much for him, of course he would be worried... Plus the fact that if Shiva's very honest, she is a little curious about that mysterious black furry creature... Why would she wear that tuft of fur it left on the first night as a hidden necklace if she was not?

Don't worry though, she'd go for paranormal investigation with the awareness that the creature might not be friendly and generous.
