Darling, what motivated you to tell Ventus about the creature that has been visiting her in the night? You know how much he cares about his friend's wellbeing, your chara's in particular!

I know, yeah... But he started with mentioning being sleepless... Felt only natural that she'd bring up as well what she is experiencing in Corsage concerning sleep at night. Doing so to Ventus though, might have been a little much for him, of course he would be worried... Plus the fact that if Shiva's very honest, she is a little curious about that mysterious black furry creature... Why would she wear that tuft of fur it left on the first night as a hidden necklace if she was not?

Don't worry though, she'd go for paranormal investigation with the awareness that the creature might not be friendly and generous.

It might have been natural, but given that she knows he freaks out or gets quite upset over magical/mystical/strange things, she should have shown a little descresion on her part. What he doesn't know won't hurt him, after all! Maybe Shiva, but not him (Unless it sets its sights on him after he through with your chara!)! Still, now that he knows, he's going to start making plans to catch the little bugger, and learn all he can about it before he...disposes of it. Safety first!

Also, ff she were very honest, why is she trying to avoid giving straight answer to both Nathan and Ventus *Waggles their eyebrows at them* Nathan might not initiate a fight with Shiva over Kirlia's evo, but Ventus is quite willing to over Nathan's hurt feeling! Can't BS an empath, one that is a knowledgable researcher at that, over Pokémon evos!

Phantom, your chara is on thin ice with Ventus right now. Either Shiva has to let him in on the secret (in which case he'll keep it to himself, since he will now understand how much is at stack with the knowledge), or he going to give her an especially hard time for now on. Romance will be the last thing on his mind at this point, unless Shiva really starts to chase his tail. That would be quite confusing to him at that point, since he's out to dig up the truth, and she's trying to start a relationship with her!

If Ventus is investigating Shiva's secret, make sure to run any leaps of intuition by me first. Shiva is perfectly capable of hiding these details from Ventus' empathy, because they mean a great deal to her, and because the details are not emotional but logistical.

Ventus is an empath, not telepath, so even if I wanted to, I am unable to have him dig directly inside her skull for answers. The best he can do is question her about it, pick up her true feeling and emotions on the matter, and extrapolate an answer based on what he knows. He can only infer, not deduce the truth if she starts putting road block between them!

Still, I'll make sure that Ven has enough reasonable evidence (for him, at least) for him to make a guess, then run that logic by your first before I make any posts.

I know! That's why its so important right now! You now have the ability to make or break things between my character and yours, and that's an frightening power to have! I just hope that whatever choice you make, its not going to sink Shiva's friendship with Ven...

I know, I know... While it's frightening to have such a power, it feels...good... Like whatever the outcome is, it will be a big part in Character Development.

There it is, I decided for peace with Ventus in the end. It was a hard decision, yet I feel that this is the right one, for us and the Mission itself.

Time for me to get some sleep, I'll continue tomorrow, which gives Windos enough time to come up with a proper reaction to Shiva's revelations to him. (Don't forget to add a reaction for the kiss on cheek she gifted to him~). Once that has been done, I think we'll reunite with Nathan again, and if he does not bring up the idea of a friendly battle with me, I will initiate that on my own. Still would like to switch Helios for Fennekin in my party for the battle - Doublebattle 5vs5 would be my call.
