[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
(07-01-2017, 02:59 AM)PhantomUnderYourDesk Wrote: @Lord Windos, that conversation surely was interesting!~ Didn't thought it'd come to tevelations.
But Ven must be getting something wrong...because Shiva was not expressing any romantic feelings. It was her way to show him her honest thankfulness and appreciation of spending the day with her and keeping the Daycare-Mission between them. But it's only natural that he understood it the way he did.

Oh now? He's an empath, my love! Unless he mistake that affection as some other form of kindness, I don't know how he got it wrong! Unless the town is REALLY screwing with his empathy...wouldn't put it past it too!

Haha, possible that the city was just screwing him and his abilities. But there was indeed some subconscious flirtatiousness , he's not wrong about that~

@Dragonstrike, it is comprehensible that Nathan will not be that happy once he gets to know that Shiva is still keeping secrets from him while Ventus seemingly knows more, and I'm quite sorry for that outcome. :C On the other side, he has to understand that she cannot reveal the Mission to him as well. She quite much dislikes that Ven already knows about it, but it was his empathy that made her entrust things to him in the first place - he practically reads in Shiva's pool of emotions like in an open book. Keeping an important secret mission for the Daycare hidden from him is a difficult task, plus the thought of him investigating and digging into things on his own would endanger the sucess of the mission way more that revelaing it and stressing on the wish to keep it for himself. Ralts/Kirlia have some skill to read emotions as well and things, but the Pokemon seemingly knows that Shiva is no harm but is secretly helping to bring down those that harmed him, so the danger coming from this is very low.

However, that does not mean Shiva would break bridges with him. C:

I just hope that everyone eventually reaches point where the occasional bit of conflict doesn't cause open revolt and/or widespread drama amongst the charas. Of course, when (Not if, since I believe that one way or another, Nathan going to clue in on the secret at some point) Nathan finds out that he's being kept of the loop deliberately by everyone else in the party (Sans Valder and Sage, but they do their own thing mostly), he's going to lose it. The boy can get surprisingly furious about certain issues, and trust is a contentuis topic for him at the best of times. Finding out that the bond he shares with every isn't strong enough for him to be included in their private discussion....that's going to smart him pretty badly!

Glad you didn't go with Ventus on his hunt for the Stunky! That would be an...unupleasent experience for her, to say the least.

He'd understand this.  Very well, in fact (he already doesn't blame Kirlia for keeping the secret, whatever it may be).  The apparent lack of trust and outright lying to him on one of the most important topics to him personally is what's bugging him.

Rebuilding bridges is fine and all, but understand there's a risk of those bridges collapsing pretty easily.

She's scared of Poison Types. Not on a phobia-level like Ven and Fairies, but she still would not enjoy him killing an innocent skunk! D:

Lying was needed to protect the Mission, as much as Shiva wishes it was not. Overall comprehensible that rebuilding things is no easy task... Curious what an effect of a friendly battle beween us will have~

Ventus is quite skilled at rebuilding burnt or broken bridges himself, or just making new one's entirely if necessary. His empathy and...experience with people made him skilled in the art of making and keeping people as Friends and 'friends'. When the times comes for him to confront them, Ven is just going to be honest about why they are keeping things secret from him: its too protect the people involved in it AND to prevent misfortune was possibly occurring. Whether or not he accept that is up to him, in the end, but Ventus is going to do his level best to make sure he's not impacted irreparably by this. Either that, or create new positive memories between them. Whatever works, in the end!

Nayhan's also a little annoyed that Shiva is tagging along for what he thinks is his fight. However, I'll assume Rattata is going to reveal itself before Nathan can say anything about it, so it shouldn't affect things too badly. Depending on how the battle with Rattata goes, he might bring up his desire to battle her afterwards.

Well, hopefully not... Him sneeking away just raised Shiva's attention, so I decided for Nathan and against Zangoose who was my first pick.

Oh my! Now I know in-game of the Breeder's Lisence. Yay!

Given that this Rattatta is a 'moderate' threat instead of easy, I expect it to be a surprisingly nasty encounter for the both of you! Perhaps that'll reignite the flames of friendship between the two!

@PhantomUnderYourDesk : I was happy to see that as well! If you tell Ven about this, he would be more than happy to help you pay for it as apology for his rudeness earlier. Gifts are the best way of forgiveness in his book, you know!
