Of course, the two stats tend not to stray to far from each other for the most part, since loyal pokemon are more often than not really happy with their trainers.

This issue came up exactly once for me so far, when Apsis felt like having some tasty artic fox.... Good thing she's my most loyal mon now, counteracting that Disobediance! Happiness has always been more of a priority for me, since Togepi evolves from the emotion, but now I want to max out Corsola's loyalty as well. After all, Corsoreef is pretty nastily...

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing how much damage she can do with Sharp Coral.  Unfortunate that her defenses are gonna take a hit, but Ventus's team is shaping up to be quite beastly now!

Here's the other question, though: does Ventus even know about Corsoreef being a possible evolution in Creshire?  Does he even know about it's Tandorian origins in the first place?  Another case of character vs player knowledge!

Consider that Iron has not really pointed out that Ven knows anything about Tandor, I would hazard a guess as to say no. He's going to be surprised when it happens, and going to be both confused and excited by it!

Um, Shiva has been pretty hush hush about thAt necklace, so he has no idea it exist. As for greeting the being, when he finds out what it is (Togekiiss will more or less inform him of what through their empathetic bond)' he going to greet it alright. With extreme predujiuce....

Just try not to kill it...it obviously needs a lesson taught to it since it put the whole town in utter misery for weeks, but considering it hasn't done anything more than that for the most part (which Ventus knows), there's not really any reason to go THAT far.

But yeah, Nathan would probably be fairly cross with whatever is causing this gloom, too, seeing as it's making Kirlia and him fairly uncomfortable at least.  He probably wouldn't argue against KOing the offending creature.

Given how he reacted on just hearing about this creature paying her nocturnal visits (she told him as he brought p the idea of camping outside city, remember?), he better never finds out about it. ^^;

If an opportunity for it arises, Nathan might just casually drop a mention of Corsola's evolution in a conversation later down the line, assuming Ventus would be familiar with at least a few of the Tandorian pokemon he is.  I think that could be quite funny Wink

@Iron, looks like I am the only one who would not harm that creature (unless it'd attack me, of course) upon encountering it, but rather being fascinated by it... Shiva would dislike a witch hunt started on it.

Besides, I have to go offline then, and won't be able to return for the rest of the day. But Dragon, feel free to initiate the conversation with me anyway, I would not mind my little talk with the Fortune Hunter Lady being done in flashback-style!

Well, I never said Nathan would KO it himself.  Just that he wouldn't argue against KOing it if someone else were to attack it.  Nathan's reaction might change depending on how the creature reacted if they were to meet.

You probably would end up forcing him to make several phone calls to his profession and fellow researchers just to catch up on this. Might get him to by a Pokedex with a Tandor update too, if he grows frustrated enough by the lack of info he would get.

Given just how badly the mystical and far/arcane freak out Ven, as well as royally piss him off, he's already inclined to plain KO it. But with what Shiva told them of it....it's probably going to die, assuming it's not a legendary. If that is the case, Ventus will be putting as much distance between him and it as possible. One does not screw around with legends!

If you're going to kill it, never-ever mention a single word to Shiva about it. Try to act normal. Like you did not bloodstained your hands. Like you did not killed off something she was curious about. If she'd find out what Ven did, he'd see his hidden hopes for a relationship between them breaking into a thousand tiny pieces before his very eyes.

And Nathan would certainly disapprove of that too. Demand to know why Ventus did that if he found out. While he wouldn't argue against KOing it, he certainly would be against outright killing it.

He probably would not bring up that unless he's pressed quite hard for information, and maybe not even then. Ven knows how strongly everyone else would object to his actions, so he would keep very quiet about it...
